the kit lenses really arent bad :) the shot of the chain was beautiful. I have this camera too and I love it! I feel kinda douchey promoting myself, but I have a short film on my channel I shot with my T2i a few weeks ago. ..very short, literally like a minute long lol.
@MrStriker80 I bought the camera with the 18-55mm lens. It's actually very good lens for starters. When you first start photographing you will soon know what you photograph the most. I for exampletake alot photos of people so I bought the Canon 50mm 1.8f lens. At some point I will buy a lens with a bigger focal lenght. Did you buy any extra lenses to the 1000d?
@caives im also a street photographer .. i photograph people and places i have 50mm 1.8f lens and the kit lens comes with 1000d ..my photography doesnt require zoom lenses , u can walk to the subject it saves u from spending money on zoom lenses ..
@MrStriker80 I also love street photography. Do you have a flickr account or a blog? If you're interested here is my flickr: flickr.com/photos/sebastiansteiner/
Hi, have you considered "Photo SFXart Tricks" (just do a Google search for it...)? There you will find a good free video showing the way to create awesome photos. It helped Matt to make photos that leave you with a wow-effect when you look at them. Hopefully it will work for you as well.
@caives cant wait im buying this camera next month ... un done with my 1000d
Love the lego shots!! :)
@JynxQ On the lens there is auto/manual focus. Switch to manual focus and then rotate the end of the lens. Hope that helped. :)

@FruittisMaris I live in Sweden. Today here was -28 degrees celsius.
@MrStriker80 Cool! I really recommend this camera. It's worth the money.
@RAnthonise Yeah, I use always IS, when I shoot handheld.
@Merelienwang F usually about 3.5-6, iso about 100-800
Switch your lens to MF (manual focus) then you can change the focus distance by rotating the front of the lens.

What settings did you use? ISO? Apperature ? Shutter Speed? and how do you manual focus with the kit lens? thanks
@caives this camera also comes with 18-135mm lens , have any suggestions ?
@FRANKORILLA Well thats kind of obvious. Do you know how to switch between Autofocus and manualfocus?
@JynxQ They differ. ISO 100-800.
@billyCtv The video quality is the same on 550D, 60D and 7D :)
@MrsDaniful The Arka Teks - Resistance
did u set on IS, cause my movies are way less shocky
did u do any post processing to change color of videos?
i don't know how to focus while shooting video... i have the same camera and with the kit lens as well...
@caives im not able to open this page
0:47 como se hace?
how to do manual focus ?
what iso settings did you use in this video?
whats the name of the song ?? x)
how do u get less noise?
If your ISO is high then you also get alot of noise. Try to keep your ISO 100-1000 for a clean picture.
So what is aperture? Does aperture affect to the noise?
Google is a friend
