I wish I knew about this before. I died so much from this stupid soda puzzle. And when I finally got it the turrets insta killed me after the animation played.
... I actually did it another way. I activated the platform and rather than running, I used the seeker ammo on the gun to take out the turrets. It ran the clock but that's ok because they don't come back. You just activate the platform again and run without fear of getting shot. Avoid the spiders, sure, but they won't really impede your run.
I just shot those damn turrets. Can use stingers if you want, but aiming on one side of the carriage stops one turret from being able to shoot you while the one you're shooting can't aim while taking damage. They don't respawn, so you reactivate the lift after destroying both.
I didn't realize this was a problem. My first instinct was to kill the turrets, though i would understand why someone wouldn't (the first turret encounter in Wasteland is invincible)
I ran straight through with 1 or 2 well timed dodges. If you sprint right out the gate, the timing is such that there is cover when the missiles come and you can reach the platform in time, I did this before double jump. Anyhow cool. I never noticed that ladder
I think this has since been patched, the box is no longer there. So I took out the torrent with blaster and relieved they didn’t respawn upon deactivation.
@@archirnobenz I definitely would regret it lol My complaint about rewards like this is that you don't get them until the end or near the end of the game, you can't collect all of the cans until the final level, and at that point you're pretty much done with the game I have other games to move on to, I can't stick around for a new game plus, so even if I collected all of the cans I wouldn't get to wear the outfit at all It would have been a different story if you could collect all the cans by around the 70% mark

you can literally just destroy the turrets before activating the console and just run to the platform no issue 🤣

Also looked for this comment lol. Some people still think you are forced to evade the turrets so this knowledge needs to be spread around more fr.

@@cured_bacon647 the turrets can be destroyed? I’ve tried shooting them with my gun and they seemed to be invincible?
@@raphaelalavi9385 Some turrets have explosive barrels next to them, can’t remember if these ones do or not though.

I have encountered this bug too.
It showed up in NG+ for me, but I didn’t solve it the first time around. I only noticed the switch when I was doing my NG+.

Bruh... Im so pissed at this. I spent a while blasting those turrets and dodging back to cover.
You can also kill the turrets easily with missiles.

For me, I dodge during a sound cue just before the turrets shoot
I started the run, saw the turrets come out, hid and destroyed them and the enemy's, then did it after with no obstacles =D

It’s the Black Pearl outfit. You get it by collecting all the cans.

Yeah the Can system is all fd up.. I mean you do all tat effort for very low reward like most of the time you get a 1 star can 😅
