2021 Ford Bronco First Edition attempting Hells Gate in Moab, Utah

- On our first trip to Moab Utah, we decided to take the Hells Revenge trail. When we got to the overlook, a guy in a RZR convinced us to try the infamous Hell's Gate.
Staring straight into the sun, looking for his spotter. Great climb!
I just did it in March in my 22 Wild Track Bronco , no spotter but I use my 360 camera to steer, I did not air down, yup I was living on the edge.

It's not as bad as it looks IF YOU HAVE A GOOD GUIDE! This appears to be an OK guide but good enough to get him up with no scratches on the roof.
First time you might ask yourself WHY, halfway up. I wonder how it would be using a front camera; something I never had on my H3.
geez people, it’s just a v notch. Straddle it, keep your hood level and there’s no problem. I did it in a gladiator with no spotter.
I did it in my modded miata
That is a hard hood to see over, you had to really trust your spotter
I just did that in my wife’s stock 05 Lexus 470. I couldn’t trust my spotter.

Impressive! Also how are you running your go-pro set up? Do you have it connected to a charger?
We have it on a suction cup mount on the wind shield. I keep the window cracked with a charger to the top of the dash.

This is the first video of a Bronco on Hells Gate that actually showed it as pretty intimidating, especially the last part. At 4:12 you said you can't see him. Did you have the front camera on? Also were you nervous your "supposed" guide was on his side with his rig first?
I couldn’t see him with my own eyes, and i could barely see him in the camera. Yeah I was really nervous because he was acting like it was easy and was too confident. That doesn’t work with a 2 day old Bronco😂
@@brocksgarage1976 Is that someone you know or someone you paid to guide you? I’d like to go next year but not sure if I want to tackle the Gate. Did you do an Off Roadeo before getting your rig?
@@swooshdave no the one trying to spot us is our friend but we didn’t pay anyone. We did the Off-roadeo but we have lots of experience because we also have a raptor.
