Cormani to USF could be a “prove it” moment. USF’s coach Alex Golesh would be a great mentor and there’s some teams like Alabama, Miami already on the schedule, and the CFB playoff is pretty much wide open for a top G5 team to make it in. Lots of potential building up there and he’d have the chance to really stand out.
If Deion criticized McClain work ethic, then it’s probably true. Notice he never criticizes Hunter. There’s a reason.
Hunter is arguably the best player in the country easily a Top 2 DB and probably a Top 14 WR, that’s quite a curve to compare someone to

@@givemeabreakdoc it’s not about talent it’s about production, Hunter proved on the field he’s the #1 DB. McClain may have the rating from high school but he doesn’t have the production in college.
Cormani clearly still has some growing up to do. Deion seems to have the expectation that his players should have a certain level of maturity. Cormani’s upside was too high not to take a gamble on.
Why can't Deion motivate his players or himself to recruit a whole roster of high school recruits? Everytime the portal opens about 40+ players leave Colorado and transfer in. So there is never any type of consistency to build a solid base. The coaches' loudmouth sons and their friends are allowed to do whatever they want, while everyone else gets blamed for the team's many failures. What a disaster.
@3:14 case in point is Casey Thompson who chose to go to Oklahoma when he could have been QB1 at several programs.

Whenever you see kids transfer multiple times that is a significant sign. The road gets tough they just don't have the chops. Once you get on campus they realize work on and off the field has to get done or elsewhere you get passed up. Big-time college football isn't for everyone.

We can't replace Downs...probably the best player in college right now but our roster is full of 5 and 4 star talent, pulled some 5 stars from the portal and the recruiting trail is on fire. Top 3 recruiting class loading.

I think 4 and 5 star rating are way over rated. If you look at most of the all pros in the league most were 2 and 3 stars. Let's be honest most of those kids aren't even ranked recruiting sites just auto puts them at 2 stars lol what a bunch of clowns.
Because those highly touted guys get treated different. They aren't tom brady hungry by the time they reach the league. They are full. Been told they're too good for too long
Statistically speaking, there’s far more non 5 stars because there’s only 32 in each cycle. A higher portion of 5 stars make the league compared to other rankings. Also, hard to project growth spurts and things like that. It’s really a crapshoot.
There are way more lower star guys to start with. However, a way higher percentage of 4 and 5* guys make it to the pros.
That's because they go for the kids who go to every camp or was 6 foot something at 3 yrs old you played around guys that carried you but in the nfl everyone stronger and bigger

This is the dark side of NIL. Guys get full of themselves thinking they can walk in and start and when don’t they just jump spot to spot. Very small percentage can make jump without mental and physical development. You don’t play players in college who aren’t going to college for sports like in HS.

Deion has proved himself on and off the field, pro players went to prime U for development and Under Armor was literally built by Deion. These kids are Jealous of his kids because they’re already rich and getting richer with him endorsing them. These kids want NIL that they don’t deserve, development is real.💯
