The seals on your slushy teas are to prevent spills. Just poke your straw through it. 😉 Interesting combination on that salad with the fajita chicken and hummus. I usually like some pita chips and hummus as a snack.
My brother and myself have stayed at Kissimmee pines in 1999 it was family run when we went had a great time. Brings back memories seeing it again.

When I went with my family to visit Disney World back in the 70s (when the Magic Kingdom and Epcot were the only parks there), we stayed in a motel in Kissimmee, but I think the place has really expanded and become nicer in the decades since then. I use the carved chicken on salads as well, and in fact I had a salad like that for dinner tonight, though it was just oven roasted chicken and not Cajun. Very tasty, though!

You can catch the sunrail trian from sand lake road .it's has a few stops in Orlando City. We whent to ace cafe. Only runs Monday to Friday. We did downtown kissamee a few years back as our youngest was into trains so we watched the big am track ones there. Have fun 😊❤️

We were just there in Early April, and I loved the walk at Oakland Nature Preserve Boardwalk Machete Trail that was absolutely beautiful, and then we had a wonderful lunch downtown Winter Garden. We ate at The Whole Enchilada Fresh Mexican Grill & Bar that was fun and delicious. Highly recommend.
I am sure I mentioned the delightful town of Mount Dora previously. It's worth a visit especially when there's a festival or craft fair. Lots of great places to eat and interesting shops. A trip on the Dora canal cruise is very enjoyable also.
We go there later in the trip. We really enjoyed it
Haven’t been to downtown Kissimmee - love watching you lot venture out but I’m more of a eat at the parks/ at restaurants nearby where I’m staying or just in general at the hotel kind of gal when I go to Disney. But also as an American with limited vacation time you have to keep it simple and easy. I would venture out if I had a longer stay. Love the videos as always!!
We love downtown kissimmee and would recommend the 3 sisters speakeasy on an evening. We have been quiet a few times and have enjoyed the food each time we have been

That brings back some memories! Used to drive 20 miles down the 192 in the early 2000s to use the internet café (remember them?) in downtown Kissimmee and log on to AOL. Seems like the Stone Age now 😄

I haven't worked my way through all your videos but wondered if you had been to downtown Lakeland? Its well worth the drive. Lovely places to eat and a great walk around the lake. All the swans are descended from a breeding pair donated to them by the Queen
Really enjoy your vlogs! We actually own a 2-bedroom condo in Windsor Hills and I have to admit we have never visited downtown Kissimmee. We'll have to go on a future visit. I've just subscribed to your channel and am looking forward to future vlogs. 😊

Nice to see that you both enjoy Root Beer, A&W is a great one but if you can, try and find IBC Root Beer, it comes in a glass bottle and is so nice!! They also do a Cream Soda which is also very very nice
We were there in 2000 as well for our honeymoon. Remember Epcot being great.

The next time you're at Walmart, pick up a jar of Rao's Arabiatta pasta sauce and have it with some thin spaghetti. It's not the cheapest jar of sauce on the shelf, but it's DELICIOUS. I'm sure Nick will love it.

Driving down 192 headed to Kissimmee is a constant stop and go, with stop lights every few blocks, it is a stressful mess to navigate, tourist traffic at its worst.
You didn’t walk far enough around the lake to where the boats were. You needed to walk past the lighthouse area and there are places on that park where locals rent areas with BBQ’s that are under cover to have family parties. Don’t think Downtown Kissimmee is as nice as Winter Garden though. Love Wine Bar George will definitely be going back there again next trip.
We went to giddions ut not in Disney springs there is another location and it was in a little market with no lineups,turns out we really don't like them and spent way to much money on cookies,,enjoying your new florida vlogs

I have never visited downtown Kissimmee, but your visit reminded me of a story I read in a primary school reader when I was no older than 10 and possibly younger. (I'm American.) In the story, a boy from Florida named Sim moved with his family to another region of the USA. Sim was having trouble adjusting to his new home and was afraid the other kids would tease him if they learned that his parents had named him for the town where he was born, and you guessed it, Sim was short for Kissimmee. Anyway, hijinks ensued (none of which I remember), and by the end of the story Sim had learned to be proud of where he came from and his name. The End. This was before Disney World existed, back when Uncle Walt was secretly buying up Florida swampland, and nobody outside central Florida had ever heard of Kissimmee. The same story today would probably create a completely different reaction in the kids reading it - He's from Kissimmee? Cool! I bet he went to Disney World every weekend! Wish I were Sim! And if not for Disney World, I likely would have forgotten all about that story ages ago.
Kissimmee looks a lovely place guys, 16 days till our first ever trip to Florida! 👌

Great Vlog guys just started following you both, any tips for a newbie to Florida - first family trip in Feb next year i have a giant list of places to try and things to do - so any particular restaurants down Disney Spings area - similar to say TGI in the UK and any decent themed restaurants??
Me too,re new follower. I haven't done much in the way of travel, but always fancied Florida. I know nothing about cruises, but have really been enjoying the cruise vlogs too. The Lodge is beautiful, looks like such a peaceful place, well, once the geese are fed,lol. Looks close to beautiful coastline & towns.
My suggestion is for you to go back and just binge all of their vlogs they break them down on their page by travel and you will see because they do different stuff every time there is nothing predictable about these two and you’re going to get a lot of your questions answered… Good luck and enjoy

I wonder how Kissimmee compares to Claremont? We have an Aunt in Claremont and love it there. Your vlog to Kissimmee has spiked my interest in visiting. Also, I have an Aunt and cousin there too. Definitely want to try the place that had the slushes with popping bubbles.
