Love watching you pick oranges, heads up if you ever need to use a juicer like that again you put the orange half thr other way round so it gets turned inside out while getting pressed. Hope that makes sense guys. Love the Florida content xxx
This is correct! The guys will get so much more juice and it will be easier to squeeze!!
Yep. Also, quarter those oranges and place them pulp side down and squeeze awayyyy. Some villas may even have an electric juicer. Ahh the memories of my Papa making me fresh squeezed orange juice in the mornings.

When we went to Culver’s I had a Concrete Mixer & it was delicious - definitely recommend 😋
We also did Showcase of Citrus a few years ago & really enjoyed it so it was nice to see it on a vlog 👍🏼

Loved watching the video of you guys in the Orange Groves. Many childhood memories in central Florida groves with my Mom’s side of the family. They still have their orange groves. Also, that 8 foot gator wasn’t even remotely close to the big ones out there!

Watching your Florida vlogs over the last few years makes me realise that all the times we have been to Florida, we have never actually seen Florida. The Orlando parks just seem to dominate the 2 weeks with the odd drive over to a beach for a day. We have decided that when I eventually retire we will do what you did in your last trip and check out Florida properly and chill loads :-).
There is so much more to Florida than just the parks. We may even look at going in the future and not going to the parks at all. They are becoming so busy and expensive and there's so much to see in Florida without all the crowds and expense
Your villa was right down the road from where we were staying at the same time! I saw our place on the right side on your way back from picking oranges. We were staying at Caribe Cove.

We stayed in Clermont last time we were in Florida, cant remember seeing this attraction, wish we had it looked great. If you tried Red lobster, hope it was the one near the convention centre, prefered this one. Thanks for sharing all the info and tips ❤

I’ve never picked oranges in Florida, but for years my parents had a condo on Marco Island on the gulf coast, and there is a citrus grove nearby where they would always get oranges and bring them back home. There is something about oranges bought at an orange grove rather than at the supermarket - they just seem to taste more like the real thing.
The juice was really good the next day 👍

@@TheLodgeGuys When we lived in Bristol UK for 2 years, I'd have to come home to the USA for work every 6 months or so. I'd stuff my face with as much Dairy Queen ice cream as possible during those short visits, literally multiple times a day. There's nothing quite like their ice cream to me...but it's also been my favorite since I was a kid. Worth a try!

I enjoyed watching the vlog! I will definitely have to try out the grove and do the Orange picking. If you ever get a chance definitely checkout Keke’s Breakfast Cafe they have a pretty good breakfast/brunch.
We ate there in Jan 2020. We enjoyed it. ❤️
