Very few things can truly cause me to say this, but mushrooms have changed my life. I am happier and just feel better when using them. I really enjoy reading information from Mr. Stamets. My kids and I are about to start a mushroom project in a few days with the spawn plugs we ordered from Stamet's site. We can't wait!

The different smokes that you smokes, the flavors come from different mushrooms, but your senses have to be working together somehow. I highly doubt that my own spores come from earth, and even if there are some, it would be extremely limited.

I realize Paul grows for, and receives funding for growing certain things for research, but to slant the whole fungal view toward such a despicable industry mystifies me. I am not saying research on the benefits of mushrooms isn't important, but to hand things to exploitative industries won't help anyone but a few CEOs, those who will hold patents, etc. It rarely does any good for those desperately needing medical help once these types are involved and the racketeering starts. mad respect, Paul, but please don't get used as a tool for evil.

it does not grow in the east. you probably found fomes excavatus or incorrectly applied fomes fomentarius.
