Isaac, I understand wanting to be creative WITHOUT the client pressure. I'd like to suggest that you make cuts from your videos and create tutorials for those of us (my hubby and I included) who are in the build process. In doing this you can take your experience, and market it to the DIY Bus Folk. Give it a thought or two. You have a lot of knowledge to share and there are peeps who will happily pay to learn from you. If for nothing else, save the money for Embers college fund!
It’s a really nice change to see someone doing something they love and not only thinking about how much money they can make, or do anything to make it fast! There’s a lot more to life than that! And that cat!!! Made my day! 😻😻
Another thought: You're going to be adding a new variable to your life in a couple of months. I was charmed when Jaylena described all the plans and intentions she has for after Ember arrives. You're both so flexible in adjusting your designs when something needs to be changed or reversed; that ability will be a good tool to have as you enter parenthood! Whatever choices you make, just make them from a position of love and you'll be fine. Count me among the tribe that eagerly awaits future videos of whatever comes.
My son has a friend who’s dad has a business doing van build and he said brand new is 150 grand. So, you’re helping a lot of people able to materialize their dreams.
Issa,Issac, video taking about build building and how the business works and the pro and cons of building buses . The creative side and the money side of bus building, so true . That is why I do not sell my quilts, people do not realize how much work goes into making them, they are living forms of art, special and lots of love goes into the making of them. 🥰😍😊
If I was looking to go into bus building as a business, I would be appreciative of the information you have given as options on how to proceed. I like that you have laid out information that allows people to be able to make a determination of how to proceed based on their particular situations. As far you continuing to build buses, I don't think you will stop.. Just my opinion. You seem to enjoy what you are doing. Besides, building buses continues to give you content for your youtube channel . Can't wait to see how you both turn the bigger bus into you alls family home.
Issac, I can understand why you do things the way you do. You work for the artistry first and profit second. I for one always appreciate the finished projects.
I agree with you Issac, most people that want to live in a bus wants to build it themselves. It's really financially hard to build one out and sell it. Working for a client can be mentally draining. You have to do what is best for you and your family. You do an awesome job on your builds. Thet all are very beautiful.
I understand your desire to do your own thing and be creative, and I understand the buyer wanting an influence in some choices as well because I need a bathroom in my build lol
You are a very likeable guy Issac. You are informative, friendly, funny and creative. I am so glad Jaylena met you. I am very happy you sold both busses. Love that you love Jaylena's cats. You both are going to make terrific parents. Love you both.
You've got so much talent and I hope you don't quit. Maybe go outside the box and do something new and different like a van or even an SUV for your next build. No matter what direction you go, please know you'll do well!
@@isaacturnerit DualEx on RUclips does a lot of different builds that he sells. He also does things by hand. It seems like he thrives better with different challenges. Maybe smaller builds in between busses can be quicker and less expensive time wise and let you have more travel time. Maybe when Ember is a couple of months you guys knows more about needs and wants and the 3 of you finds your synergy together.
Excellent video ! Loved how your sidekick ( Halo ) told us her input on the subject lol ! She loves you and just wanted to be in on whatever you were doing . I understand the need to reassess your business plan . You could do more music or just more bus tours or scenic videos . Let your artistic ability flow ! Do whatever makes sense to you !!! In the meantime you have building out the family bus and filming Ember along the way ! There will be family trips to film and the great scenery along the way ! Then there is the chance of buying property and building a home and a shop ! All things your subscribers will follow and enjoy !!!! Just take life as it comes ! Much love to you and your family !
Interesting…I like how you broke it down . Your gifted in building them for sure . What ever you do I know it will be successful. Best to you my friend
I think with your knowledge you should do videos on how to do the electrical, plumbing, solar for sure. Your woodworking skills are awesome too. Good luck on your decision. We all love you no matter what you decide. ❤
I liked this video! It’s nice to get to know you better. I loved the cat’s participation and your reaction to it. I like watching building videos. My grandson says it rude to watch tradesmen doing their job. I like to know how things go together. At least you don’t mind when I watch! Thank you!
Hi Isaac, thanks for sharing your thoughts on bus building. I was a member of a Christian band in my teen years and we had our own school bus which took us to our gigs and back. I remember the day we got it and when we all got together to paint it. Our blue bus was awesome. The experience of a lifetime and envy of some. Lol. I think you should do whatever makes you happy and stress free. Cheers 🍻
Isaac you're exactly right. We own a small plumbing & electrical business. We have had the opportunity to take on multimillion dollar contracts with money UP FRONT....HOWEVER we decided NOT TO....SEVERAL TIMES because we didn't want to sell OURSELVES! Some may look at plumbing & electrical & think "you're just hooking up wires & pvc"...well my husband takes pride in HIS work like you do & we've seen some people do some pretty shoddy work that we've had to go behind & redo because they did NOT take pride in their work. With much more involved than I care to get into to (codes, dealing with other contractors on job sites etc) I'll just say this...I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING (& MORE) that you just said even before you said it & I see you growing & learning. You could make BIG money doing custom builds however you could do something specific that a client wants until your fingers bleed & still not make them happy & they could at any time refuse to pay you. Not because you didn't do it right but because NO TWO PEOPLE SEE the same exact thing! What you have as a vision, as a builder, as an artist, someone else may be envisioning something completely different no matter how well THEY think they conveyed to you what they want. Just like you said basically, to hell with customer service. Customers these days are never satisfied! 🤣 Things/people aren't like they were when you or I were coming up. Also, people that have NO knowledge of what it takes to build would nor could EVER appreciate your work. My aunt is a very well known artist in the state we live in but she stopped doing custom work (murals, portraits, pet portraits etc) because she paints the way SHE as an artist see's it....NOT how the client see's it. Same with YOUR ART! You're making a wise decision & that came with learning, growing, maturing, having a little human coming that's going to be completely 100% dependant on her Daddy for everything & that means you can't sit around & wait & hope for someone to appreciate & buy your art. You have enough skills to do whatever you want after you build y'alls new home & like you said....if you run up on a good deal for a bus at some point & want to take that on as a side hussle & extra money great. You can do it at your own pace & ENJOY doing it. When your talent becomes your job there's no enjoyment in it anymore. Your creativity is pressed. I'm so glad to see you in a good place & having this learned experience behind you helping you to make better choices for y'alls future. At least you lived & learned.....some NEVER learn. I'm excited to see your creativity with the big bus! I'm sure you'll get more enjoyment out of building that one. I think kitty was missing Jaylena. LOL And YES to these types of videos. I know you'll do well at. Whatever you do because you take pride in what you do & you work hard. Always wishing nothing but the best for you & your BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!
I have SO much respect for you. Everything that you say is literally on point. You are hitting everything on the head. Not to mention you're keeping it so REAL. You seem so genuine and so down to earth...I'm not one of those fangirls ... on a human tip, I'd love to meet you and your family one day. I look forward to your videos so much because it touches on reality. Touches on actual life. It means a lot. Please keep these videos coming. Thank you for real. 🙌🏾
Even if you don't have a client you're still going to question your own work with every cut. So perhaps you could find a middle ground to get the benefits of both business models. Basically, you could limit the customer's input to the initial meeting and the build plan that is created during that meeting. You can explain why you do it this way. You can explain it would take to long to discuss every little detail and measurement. I think people would understand that there's limits of how customized they can make it without doing it themselves or paying insane rates. I think they would also respect that you have a business model planned out and that you follow every time. But at the same time you can make a few exceptions so a compartment fits their bikes or snowboards or whatever. As long as it's included in the initial meeting. You can give them options to have it unfinished so they can paint or stain it themselves to save on cost. You can show them parts of your bus and duplicate some parts so they know what to expect. You could have tile samples, flooring samples, countertop samples, carpet samples, insulation options and more. You could have a few bed designs and bus layouts drafted up to give them options during the initial meeting. You could even have someone else do the meetings and just do the job off the paperwork. And there's no harm in calling the customer and being nice if you think they might want to give you input on something. The main thing is to get it all on paper and to make it clear that they take all risk and that nothing on that paper is guaranteed. Make it clear that they're not even allowed to be upset with you when mistakes are made because they will be made. And when mistakes are made be honest and upfront. Apologize and remind them they were warned and then demand their forgiveness. That's the agreement. Explain to them you're not some huge company that can take on huge risk. They have to take all the risk and for that you won't charge them insane amounts of money. Heck even put all that in writing because people forget so fast when bad stuff happens. Maybe prepare a question list with some blueprint options and a long FAQ. Give it to potential clients. Make a website with it. Then when you have the meeting it's not all new to them and they're ready to make decisions and give you a deposit. You could also add like a $500 to $1000 contingency fund so if you need an extra box of tiles or an extra sheet of plywood to fix a mistake then it's covered and you don't even have to notify the client. If the mistakes are over $1000, and you don't want to cover any of them, then you could start letting the client decide on solutions to any additional mistakes but that should be very rarely needed. Taking on all the risk might of been a good way to start because it let you gain experience and prove yourself but that's done now. Now you can benefit from your recorded experience and get work without taking on a lot of risk. Of course, it probably goes without saying, if someone offers you a few hundred grand to be included in every decision then you make an exception and take a nice vacation after it's done.
Interesting chat. You've been converting buses for a while (established dream studio) so that seems to be something that gives you alot of joy and satisfaction. You're very talented at conversions (fact, not flattery) and your buses sell. Gotta love what you do.
Great insight! Totally agree with your opinions on the way you like to go about it. Best wishes. Looking forward to seeing the progress of the family bus!
Clients make life so interesting. 'Hey, Isaac, I think I'd like a baby grand piano. You can fit that in, right? I know you're almost done, but you can do anything!' LOL
I feel that you really enjoy the builds and you've developed outstanding skills, but selling them at cash is hard to wait for. I agree that one or two a year will fulfill your creative juices and who knows, maybe you'll find a new joy in building aframes or air B & B? Besides it's nice to spend time with your new little family traveling. Just keep up your utubes, we'll follow. ❣
I've always said that just like anything else these days, the bus business will be flooded soon enough and people are onto the next fad. Your realistic views is the honest truth. As a society we buy stuff like we change our underwear. Lol Keeping the creative theory behind the concept without the added pressure leads for a happier and less stressful life. Sure, i want a bus, and as you mentioned Issac, I too want to experience the lifestyle, however, realistically there are not enough of us out there who are able to pickup and do the world adventure. We have responsibilities that can't just be tossed aside that easily. It takes planning and by the time you plan and and actually achive the goal to the point where you can do it, the fad is over and you're ready to change your underwear out. 😉 🤣 I thoroughly appreciate your realistic views in our ever changing world. You Issac, don't ever lose that gift.
Hi Isaac! Thanks for the openness and sharing your view on this topic. You've been a guru to many here including your tips you shared with me on skoolie insurance. My own bus is 2/3 finished and just came back from 3 weeks with a magnificent mechanic in Northern Oregon. She has been an art project and labor of love for sure. I agree that bus people seem different from van-lifers in that our vehicles are very personal to us and reflect our creative lives. Cheers for what you do!
I've noticed that also. Most skoolie's are a reflection of the people that are going to be living in them. Bus people define seem to put more creativity & uniqueness in their builds. To me van builds are basically all the same.
A possible idea is to build different levels of bus builds. Some more simple, some mid grade and some really nice like you build. Maybe use your creative ideas to build some cheaper buses. Your very talented
I think your doing the right thing, and you never know if the market became more advantageous it's not like your gonna forget too much of how it's done. Regardless safe travels in whatever it is.
Issac I am all with you on this one, you get the bus to build for your self as a business you go for van builds they are more cumin, thanks for doing this bro. till next time like I all ways say "live free or die trying" your friend from Ontario, Canada hope to meet you some day ;)
I too love the build process. There’s something so satisfying in seeing what you can create. Also Halo is like… I don’t give a F🤭 I’ll leave my fur wherever I please, and I am so here for her or his energy
Totally get you and respect you for building what you want and then selling it. That being said, if you build a twin bed bed home with a passenger seat in a mid size flat front bus, especially a pusher, we WILL be bidding on it! Because we did enough of a van build to know that a skoolie is too bid and too complex for us to do. :D
Totally agree and you hit the nail on the head. Personally I wouldnt do client work as well because I see myself as a low key artist and I want control over aesthetic decisions. But when you take on your own build you take on all the risk and like you said bus people mostly want to build buses. But maybe you can take on clients who already like your work and style, set the expectations that you're building a bus for them specific to their needs but that this isn't a typical client services relationship and you're going to loosely retain creative control over the build. Best of both worlds? If I ever do another bus it will likely be under a similar pretense. Thanks for sharing your process!
Ahhh I like your idea! Also I was watching a few of your videos for ideas on my big bus. Considering your pocket door and was trying to figure out how to mount those big ol under storage boxes
@@isaacturnerit sweet! The pocket door system was a big success. The locking drawer slides are extremely expensive but the whole system worked out well. Granted if I hadn't built the arched walls you'd be able to see a 1 inch gap at the top. As for the storage boxes haha it worked but that was some shade tree mechanic stuff I pulled there. Cheap and easy if you want to try it out too though and like I said in the video can always reinforce later. So far it's been fine.
Look at Halo wanting to get some loving from you. lol very cute. Keep doing what you love doing, build your channel, throw in a song every now and then, your followers seem to love that. ❣❣
Hi Isaac...Love all your videos. Your work is beautiful. Your personality is so cool as you're very authentic about your passion with how you do it your way. Keep up all you do for its amazing 👏.
I have had a business,a side money maker, a idea that made money that I wanted to expand on. Each one had some of the issues take out profits.Change of economy, made more people to do what I was doing,Regulation and reuse commercially can be business killers.none thing was I went into a regular job but always missed the creativity, the great feeling of completion, the other stuff. I found when I continue on a lower scale of the business ( side maker) was a better choice. Single mom.
You gotta do what makes you happy & content in your life. Your goal of property with an A frame home & a shop is ideal IMO. Love Halo & her "Cat hair?! Don't care!!" attitude! 😁❤💕from Ohio
I don't blame you. People nowadays can be real bothersome & change their minds over & over during the build & cause you lots more work as well as stress! God bless you & ur lil family!
I have done both ways of van builds and I am with you 100% I would rather buy them and build them and wait for it to sell rather than someone watching over my shoulder.
I also think spring and summer is the best time to move a bus. I think setting a time limit on building a bus is best and if you have to adjust the time while building due to things you can not foresee...so be it. I love watching you build a bus.
I agree with everything you said. But honestly if I were to do the same thing you do I would do it exactly the same way you’re doing it. Thanks for another good video!👍👍👍😀😀😀🌲🌲🌲
Awe, Halo stole the video... she's got a lot to say... good of you to let her to video bomb. 🤭😍😂🤣 Great video information! Super good job on your bus builds. Excited & proud that you sold your bus builds! 👍
One of these days alot those Van Life peps are going to want set up. And alot of them don't want a machine built bus but want true craftsmanship in their upgrade. I've watch your improvements. And your hand builds has improved 1000%!!! Iss??? Your awesome bro!!! Your thinkings are correct. 👍🏻👍🏻 Great vid!
Thanks for sharing this Isaac, it's always good to hear about different business perspectives. I know I'm building out my van for myself to move into and live in full time, one of my reasons is that rent rates for a 1 bedroom gone up to where I can't afford it no more and since I've been van lifing by January 2018 with my 1st van conversion build, I no longer feel that stress paycheck to paycheck on how I'm going to get my rent paid when I have other needs as well. Anyway, since my 1st van conversion build now been on my 2nd van and 2nd van conversion build, I've already been ask if I could help build theirs after I'm done with mine. They like what I've done and been doing with mine, I have had sincerely turned them down on this for them even if they would pay me to do so, I have just too much on my own plate at this time that gives a new and different meaning to multitasking. In the same breath, if and whenever some things going on settles down some at least enough I might reconsider to try helping do a van conversion build or 2 for some bit of income, I don't know yet. I'm still learning more a bit at a time and it's been a rewarding new experience as I go on. I'm glad I know some of the needed basic things to do something like this, my 2nd van conversion is only my 2nd biggest project I've ever done and I enjoy it personally even as part of my R&R I need, working on my van conversion build is relaxing to me me and even helps me stay better focused on one thing at a time while I'm doing my van conversion build, not saying it's an easy task or project, it's like my get away from all else going on around me, I'm always doing more for anyone else selflessly, putting myself on the back burner at times, but, when it came to actually getting a van and starting my new van life, I have found something for once I can also do for myself and have a bit more freedom than I had. It's been a work in progress, to be realistic in the midst, again, very rewarding too. I'm still on my life's journey and will see as I go on one day at time. And, personally I like to do most all my own van conversion build to make it my own tiny home on wheels, may need help eventually with the electric stuff a bit later on, but once it's done, the rubber will meet the road and I can freely go travel without any ties to lease contracts, etc. Love watching your videos Isaac, Jaylena's and others too. Always an inspiring story in each one as well. Love y'all, sending lots and lots of love hugs and prayers daily to you, Jaylena and baby Ember from me in Odessa TX 🤗💖🤗💖🤗💖👶💖🤗
@@isaacturnerit so true, it may or may not turn out the same for me, we van and bus lifers think too much alike at times, it could be the one time thing then before you know it it can turn out to be more as you go along. This is my 2nd van conversion build, who knows, maybe a bus later, or even help someone with theirs. Before I gotten into van life, I was looking into tiny homes and even seen and heard in some places that people have made tiny home communities to help the homeless get back on their feet too. Something like this time has been in my heart and prayers, whether a tiny home community of sorts, vans, buses, etc with building up and encouraging an awesome community of folks of all walks of life, even if starting out small would be good. Down the road I may consider it Lord willing that is. Will have to take it one day at a time and see what happens next.🤗💖
Gotta love halo the cat loves you Isaac I think u do so well with client build as they give u their plans of their liking and your likings and if they freely like your ideas give it a go I think it would works out well or u build buses ur own ideas n taste then sell it to someone who want the bus build from you I think you will grow and enjoy it as well even if a person there learning the build with u as the owner helps u build the bus and share the ideas together
I knew it that you are a Filipino :) and I'm proud of you Kabayan. All that you have in mind right now do make sense coming from your experience and situations. Love your build and wishing all the best on your next plans.
This is off topic but can we talk about how super adorable Halo was in this video?? What a sweet kitty--she wanted to join you, & you let her in & she couldn't stop loving on you!! I love all of your creativity & thoroughly enjoy that, & I'll always enjoy watching you create whatever you are creating. Any talk videos, I will listen because I believe in you & enjoy Isaac the person...just keep doing you, & stay true to your authentic self--you're a real gem Isaac!! ❤ -Hugs to you & Halo 🤗
Have you ever thought of helping with projects on buses? Some people want to do builds, but have things they don't know how to do. And may need help with sections as opposed to whole projects.
That would be what I would have to do if I ever built a bus out. Having a Vision is one thing but having the ability to bring it all together requires a person, such as yourself, to bring it to life.
I think your an artist. People will want a piece of your art. You have been building your reputation/brand. I think it will take off, believe in yourself.
Omg halo wanted daddy time 😍 Isaac you are an artist when it comes to your buses. With that being said You, Jaylena, Ember and your furbabies are a family. I think you will want to take some time to just be a family. Maybe you and Jaylena can talk it over see what you want for the future. I love when you just talk, give us your thoughts and knowledge. But I will watch no matter what you post.Love Blessings to you,Jaylena,Ember and your furbabies.
From a client point of view, there are things I just don't have the skills for, or strength or ability/agility (I'm 65 with some disabilities) that I'd love to be able to contract out. Floors and electrical, diesel heater installation, roof fan installation, some carpentry work. I would love to collaborate with a builder/contractor but have walked away from two already who don't understand the definition of collaboration and didn't inspire trust. Here in the Mid-Atlantic bus builders are few. I look at your builds and Peach and see the foundation of what I want to add my personal stamp to. I want to find a builder with your savvy and integrity that won't raise red flags or try to force me into overcomplicated/overbuilt systems I don't need. There must be an in between but I can't find it. Meanwhile my bus waits.
I say continue to do it your way. If I could buy one I would totally buy from you but I can't afford it right now. Next time you finish a bus go drive it around with a For Sale sign.
Remember a cat chooses who they want to be friends with. Halo obviously wants to spend time with you and wants you to pay attention to her. That in and of itself is an accomplishment right there, enjoy it!
I love your insight and honesty. I totally get doing what you love , your way if that’s what cuts down your stress levels as life is so short. You hit the nail on the head - it’s about your mental health too. I also get that your priorities have changed as you have the pressure and responsibility of a family and all the financial elements that come with that. 💓. I will watch whatever you do , or whatever you have to say because I find you extremely articulate and it’s easy to be drawn into the subject matter at hand being covered where you are invested start to finish without having to FF. Love from 🇬🇧. Ember is lucky to have you as her dad. Both you and Jaylena will be amazing parents.
might be a good idea to consider other things bc soon they will be rationing diesel, and it will go to military and perhaps some for trains and semi trucks, the rest will be sol i suspect..
Really respect your skill and how honest u are with ppl who want to build (ie me) Every time I watch I just feel even more sure I want to live the bus life
Halo absolutely loves you, Isaac. Either that or it's dinnertime, lol. ~ Love you sharing your perspective with us. Personally, I'd LOVE to have a bus that you built. I know you don't cut corners and do great, precision work. I enjoyed watching.
ENJOYed listening to U talk about Ur work & I would 💯% be the same way if I was an Ace bus builder, too much stress building for clients,U’re the Best of the Best in my book,U know what looks & works well in each of Ur builds like Vin Diesel & Bussy are built out differently…& both of them are built the way U envisioned them!Keep doing U & there’s no limits to what U can do,especially with Jaylena because Teamwork makes the Dreamwork!MUCH Love & Respect to Y’all!!!💙❤️💝
Boy do I wish.. please don't Quit.. building buses! I think you are so great.. it is sad to say that if .. a person is in need desperately to life.. and have no other way.. than you are their hope. Or at lease informational guider. Ppl are looking to live in a bus, van , car due to high rents and no way to live., ( Going places) I trust your honesty and you have integrity . Thanks for all your content and workmanship. 🥰😢😢. She is in heat.. 😂😂😂. Yes absolutely give ur honesty infro
Enjoyed your video. Keep doing these types that show what is going on in your mind. It's interesting especially to those of us who are in the lifestyle to see the artistry and how the artist feels about it. I've never really seen that before as I've built up my own stuff but it always comes out jacked because I am not a construction person. I worked as a nurse so I can help people who are sick but I can't build square shelves that will work on a slider. Anyway good video and keep up your good work. I'd kill for one of your buses they are beautiful! But I'm on the East Coast I have to park very stealthily as there is no BLM land here so I basically stealth park in the cities or if I'm lucky to get up into a mountain.
If I could afford to buy a bus I would definitely have you build it. Your designs are great and you are picky on the buses you buy which is even better. My only change would be a wet shower only because I’m old😆.
These informational videos are very important for the dreamer. I especially liked the first video of the Bussy 30 day build when you broke out the actual costs. People see the large Home Depot carts and don’t take into account the time it will take to get each of the subprojects done. Much of this is due to time lapse videos. I think a good follow up to this video would be on Time. As many people I thought I could do it in a couple of months than get on the road over summer. Instead it took most of the summer than I had to store it in the winter because I wasn’t think ing heat when it was 113 degrees in June. Now I am in another holding pattern waiting for the campgrounds to open. Please do an installment on Time Reality.
I totally understand where you're coming from Isaac. It would be hard to please someone who thinks they want things a certain way but after it's done they don't like it or sees it won't work out too. Hallo was sure needing lovin from you. She was sure wound for sound that day too. Take care! X's &
100% agree with you on not wanting to use a CNC. So many of these buses on RUclips are super clean but they feel like museums. One thing I really like about your builds are that they are clean without being sterile. They feel cozy and authentic. You don't get that with a lot of the others.
Isaac I enjoyed this actually, very educational. I liked the way you explained things, the options, why you do it the way you do. It was nice to listen to you. That's business talk straight up and transparent.
My dad always told me.. find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. And that’s exactly what I did. I loved my job. Not once did I hate going to work. I’m retired and I miss my job… A Lot. Next, I love watching you turn into a cat person. Haha Great video great advice.
It is cool to hear your pov and opinion, being creative like you are, I can see why you chose to build the way you do🎶🌿🍑🌸, best wishes to you and J🌷🌹(and growing E🌷). Halo is sooo pretty, stealing the show lol.
It’s a really nice change to see someone doing something they love and not only thinking about how much money they can make, or do anything to make it fast! There’s a lot more to life than that! And that cat!!! Made my day! 😻😻
Sharing your wisdom and experience is def something you should do more.
Thank you Susan
My son has a friend who’s dad has a business doing van build and he said brand new is 150 grand. So, you’re helping a lot of people able to materialize their dreams.

Ahh exactly. You get it
If I was looking to go into bus building as a business, I would be appreciative of the information you have given as options on how to proceed.
Ha ha I feels
You're approaching it as an artistic endeavor, as opposed to a business model.. and that's cool, too! To each their own
Yeah I suppose that’s how I do it
You are a very likeable guy Issac. You are informative, friendly, funny and creative. I am so glad Jaylena met you. I am very happy you sold both busses. Love that you love Jaylena's cats. You both are going to make terrific parents. Love you both.
💗
You've got so much talent and I hope you don't quit. Maybe go outside the box and do something new and different like a van or even an SUV for your next build. No matter what direction you go, please know you'll do well!
Thank you I may also just do one a year but we shall see
@@isaacturnerit DualEx on RUclips does a lot of different builds that he sells.
I think Halo likes you...a lot! 💕 You are an artist Isaac and that often means an unconventional life, glad you are following your heart.
As always 100% REAL TALK. That's all folks want. And thank you for it.💯💥
Thanks homie!!
While watching this I immediately thought about your music, and photography. Your music is really top notch. I say this but I do like your buses
Thank you!
Thank you for being here :)
It’s 1am in New York I’m probably going to fall asleep watching this so I’m commenting before watching for the algorithm. Love you guys♥️✌🏼
Cheers 🍻
I just pictured all that and it looked amazing
👍😉❤️
Yoooo you get it! Thank you!!
Halo is adorable, she definitely has affection for you.
All that is great ideas. Thank you for your input :)
Interesting chat. You've been converting buses for a while (established dream studio) so that seems to be something that gives you alot of joy and satisfaction. You're very talented at conversions (fact, not flattery) and your buses sell. Gotta love what you do.
thank you I will always prolly do one a year at the least
Great insight! Totally agree with your opinions on the way you like to go about it. Best wishes. Looking forward to seeing the progress of the family bus!
Thank you for watching
Clients make life so interesting. 'Hey, Isaac, I think I'd like a baby grand piano. You can fit that in, right? I know you're almost done, but you can do anything!' LOL
I feel that you really enjoy the builds and you've developed outstanding skills, but selling them at cash is hard to wait for. I agree that one or two a year will fulfill your creative juices and who knows, maybe you'll find a new joy in building aframes or air B & B? Besides it's nice to spend time with your new little family traveling. Just keep up your utubes, we'll follow. ❣
I love how you and the cat did a video
Love watching you build! Your creativity is insanely good!
Thank you Deb
I've always said that just like anything else these days, the bus business will be flooded soon enough and people are onto the next fad. Your realistic views is the honest truth. As a society we buy stuff like we change our underwear. Lol
Keeping the creative theory behind the concept without the added pressure leads for a happier and less stressful life.
You should take people who want to build their own bus and mentor them, do workshops or teach an online course . Become a Bus build consultant.
Very informative Issac.. You are very clear with what you’re doing. Congratulations on your 30K achievement on Utube… ❤️❤️🥰✌️
Thank you :)
A possible idea is to build different levels of bus builds. Some more simple, some mid grade and some really nice like you build. Maybe use your creative ideas to build some cheaper buses. Your very talented
Yeah possibly. Not sure what I want to do though
I think this is a great video.. very informative.. and YES you should do more like this too :)
Ha ha ha I feel it. Maybe one of these days
that cat is the star of the show, I would come back to just listen to her - so in love with her
Keep your dreams coming,. We
Maybe going to 1955 prices. The world is changing.......
Halo is such a cool cat. She likes to talk. You can have a conversation with her.
I don't blame you. People nowadays can be real bothersome & change their minds over & over during the build & cause you lots more work as well as stress! God bless you & ur lil family!
agreeeeeed
I like how you weigh the pros and cons for people to make informed decisions. Cats love genuine people. They know.
Five in a Van Life on RUclips also has an incredible build...
I think by us watching you build is like building for us because we see it as it goes
I agree with everything you said. But honestly if I were to do the same thing you do I would do it exactly the same way you’re doing it. Thanks for another good video!👍👍👍😀😀😀🌲🌲🌲
Thank you Amber
@@isaacturnerit Your welcome! ❤️
Yeah I feel you! When I built my first van never thought I’d build another. Built my bus same thought! Never thought it woulda turned into a business
Which is why I love my tiny house!
Halo is so cute. Is he hungry? I love the work you do. I can't wait to see how you do the new bus
Client builds are not something I am interested in.
I knew it that you are a Filipino :) and I'm proud of you Kabayan. All that you have in mind right now do make sense coming from your experience and situations. Love your build and wishing all the best on your next plans.
Thank you for being here
This is off topic but can we talk about how super adorable Halo was in this video?? What a sweet
kitty--she wanted to join you, & you let her in & she couldn't stop loving on you!! I love all of your
creativity & thoroughly enjoy that, & I'll always enjoy watching you create whatever you are creating.
Any talk videos, I will listen because I believe in you & enjoy Isaac the person...just keep doing you,
& stay true to your authentic self--you're a real gem Isaac!! ❤ -Hugs to you & Halo 🤗
Have you ever thought of helping with projects on buses? Some people want to do builds, but have things they don't know how to do. And may need help with sections as opposed to whole projects.
Ahhh I guess I never really considered that. Thanks Dawn
Oh I can sell them and I can build them. thing is do I want to do it
Omg halo wanted daddy time 😍 Isaac you are an artist when it comes to your buses.
I like watching you guys build and play. Kitty is so chatty today. Made me smile. Blessings!
I say continue to do it your way. If I could buy one I would totally buy from you but I can't afford it right now.
Next time you finish a bus go drive it around with a For Sale sign.
That cat needs its own channel.
Remember a cat chooses who they want to be friends with. Halo obviously wants to spend time with you and wants you to pay attention to her. That in and of itself is an accomplishment right there, enjoy it!
:)
Thank you very much
might be a good idea to consider other things bc soon they will be rationing diesel, and it will go to military and perhaps some for trains and semi trucks, the rest will be sol i suspect..
Really respect your skill and how honest u are with ppl who want to build (ie me)
Every time I watch I just feel even more sure I want to live the bus life
Halo absolutely loves you, Isaac. Either that or it's dinnertime, lol. ~ Love you sharing your perspective with us. Personally, I'd LOVE to have a bus that you built. I know you don't cut corners and do great, precision work. I enjoyed watching.
ENJOYed listening to U
talk about Ur work & I would
💯% be the same way if I was
an Ace bus builder, too much stress building for clients,U’re
the Best of the Best in my book,U know what looks & works well in each of Ur builds
like Vin Diesel & Bussy are built out differently…& both of them are built the way U envisioned them!Keep doing U & there’s no limits to what U can do,especially with Jaylena
because Teamwork makes the Dreamwork!MUCH Love & Respect to Y’all!!!💙❤️💝
Thank you
Have you ever thought about giving classes on how to build a skoolie? I've learned so much from watching your channel I appreciate you
Boy do I wish.. please don't Quit.. building buses!
I think you are so great.. it is sad to say that if .. a person is in need desperately to life.. and have no other way.. than you are their hope. Or at lease informational guider. Ppl are looking to live in a bus, van , car due to high rents and no way to live., ( Going places)
I trust your honesty and you have integrity . Thanks for all your content and workmanship. 🥰😢😢.
She is in heat.. 😂😂😂.
Yes absolutely give ur honesty infro
Maybe I should do a super low budget build to show how it can be done. Thanks for the inspo homie!
@@isaacturnerit 🥰👍😍😍
I enjoyed this video! Do the way you want is 100% Right! Creativity!!👌!!And the cat had it's story!!💯❣️👍
💗
Thank you so much for the video it's awesome keep telling us more about buses because I love those
If I could afford to buy a bus I would definitely have you build it.
Isaac do what makes you happy. Halo really like you!
Thank you Pat!
I think that your Sports Car needs a CVT Roof Top Tent. Cheers!
ha ha ha I agreeeee
Love the instructional & informational videos on bus building!

Thank you :)
Isaac you are a killer artist on making busses look so well made
Thank you :)
Isaac I enjoyed this actually, very educational. I liked the way you explained things, the options, why you do it the way you do. It was nice to listen to you. That's business talk straight up and transparent.
You are an artist, Isaac, and that shines through in all you do 👌. I have great respect for you 💗
Good video from the heart combined with experience, common sense. Very engaging!
Thank you

My dad always told me.. find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. And that’s exactly what I did. I loved my job. Not once did I hate going to work. I’m retired and I miss my job… A Lot. Next, I love watching you turn into a cat person. Haha Great video great advice.
I'll watch whatever you feel like posting! 👍
