How inspection is a non value added activity because 100% inspection is included in customer's requirement and also in some cases tooling cost for inspection related processes is given by customer. So is this VA or NVA???...
Hi Inspection is itself a cost , comes is cost of poor quality. It is required due to our inefficient system and process. So it's is necessary due to lacking of our system and process so it's count as a type to non value added activities. That is NVA 2 but required.
