And fyi Carhartt is an American brand started by Hamilton carhartt in 1889 Detroit Michigan to make work clothing for Manuel laborers wip sells the same clothing for twice as much lol
@@Benny_From_NY The way I’ve understood WIP is it’s fashion over function. The normal Carhartt releases are cheaper with a longer life compared to WIP. I know the brand has had a dip in quality compared to 10 years ago.
I like these, but actually prefer the grey day pair and the new RF kith Madison Garden Navy's. I wish they'd gone a bit more premium with the materials on these to match the price.
Sold out pretty instantly online in Singapore too. Luckily managed to get mine in store from New Balance itself since my work place was near there and surprisingly no one queued in line for them.
Tried them on at the Carhartt Store and for as much as i love the V6 the color on these doesn’t make it for me. I went and bought the “Grey Day” pair for 135€ on sale instead. Way much better colors imo! Great review!
The price really threw me off - since i already let 270 for my stone island NBs the other day I couldn’t justify another steep NB this month :-) great review btw!!!
As often , I quite disagree with you : I really love this collab . The look is classy and perfect for autumn. I don’t mind the premium since I also like the Carhartt wip brand . And the fact I was able to cop it as retail is a huge bonus . I am quite laughing at the resellers already losing money on stock x

For me they fit true to size but I go true to Size in all NBs. I would say get the same size you would normally in other NBs, it’s difficult to really compare it with Nikes

I am a sucker for that carhartt brown and wanted to try the 990 v6 but wasn’t a fan of the grey they chose for the mesh, some different shade of cream would have been perfect for me. And definitely wasn’t a fan of that price tag 270 € 😮. They still really nice overall and on that berlin display even better 👌,the creams still the best for me. Those olive green extra laces are surprisingly better than expected,either ones look good. Love your channel,New balance should send you shoes to review early 👀.
Not big on carhartt, but when I first saw these it had to be a must cop. But they flew here in the US and my result was an L. Instead of white laces and front mid sole should of been nicer in cream.
Honestly having a hard time understanding your negative thoughts on this shoe. And then how you felt about the Stone Island collab. If there was a shoe that was too expensive and dark, I’d think it would be the that one.
Dark Colors worked better on that pair than on these. But it’s just my opinion though, it’s just a color preference thing, there’s no right or wrong answer

I copped two pairs because I thought it was a bug that I was able to cop on the New Balance website. I think it's the best V6 for the fall season, it's way better than the season 4 V6's. The price is too high but I prefer to pay 270 to New Balance and get a real pair than paying 270 to a reseller and maybe get a fake. Season 3 cream or magenta V6 are better than this pair but you can't wear them during fall/winter.

These aren't for me. Once the economy melts down (or at least the sneaker market) I'll get the Lapis Lazuli for a more reasonable resell price. I'm curious. Are you on the wider side in terms of shoe size? Most other folks that make content say size down for MIUSA. I got a great deal on a pair of 11 990v3 Tan/Greens. Below retail! The price jumped a lot in my true to size 11.5. So far sizing down has been great and I've never owned a more comfortable pair of shoes. Maybe my 9060s match the comfort.
I agree the colours and combination are just too plain, and some GR releases look better than this collab at a cheaper price. I think the green colour is what I dislike the most about this shoe, and makes it hard to match with other clothing. If I were to get a shoe with these kinds of colours, then I'd rather get one of Nike's ugly duckling sneakers.
