Mullet Mad Jack Preview - Sonic the Boomer Shooter

Mullet Mad Jack is a fast-paced old school shooter that takes both of those phrases very serious. You live life ten seconds at a time and can only get more time by defeating robots - exactly three seconds worth of time. It's dressed in retro anime and a synthwave 80s aesthetic.

This reminds me of Post Void, trading for the psychedelic nightmare music video look for 80s anime. I think these are apart of a small offshoot of old school style FPS games based on runs and random modifiers and upgrades.

Very Post Void-esque, but gosh the aesthetic is so strong. I’m fine with the difficulty bc the flow is much more important to me than having to die all the time. I found myself drifting towards katana tho, as it was much more predictable to handle than all the guns due to its melee nature.
