Just when I thought your Eleanor Rigby couldn’t get any better, you start galloping. And THEN, you start syncopating the gallop. And THEN you solo over the syncopating gallop. Geez Lemmo. Surgical Precision on this one.
That was fucking sick
It’s incredible
That was fantastic.
I purchased this guitar from Norm yesterday. It is a beautiful guitar, exactly as they described. The employees and Norm himself could not have been more helpful and friendly. A huge thank you to all of them.
How much was it?
@@MikeNims around $3,200
Every guitar player on the planet can learn a few things from Lemmo, if you don't own a casino you are truly missing out on some great tone and this one is no exception. One of the most expressive guitars ever made. Thank you Jen for bringing it to us each and every day. Bravo to you both.
The version of “And I love her” is 🙌🏻
As a lifelong Beatles nut it's so pleasurable to hear these from Mr Lemmo...amazing
My golly, I genuinely did not want that to end! It was like a mini concerT. Norm, give that man a raise!
Love the Casino! I have the Worn Olive Drab one, and it’s one of my favorite guitars. John mainly played with the bridge pickup. A huge staple of that early 60’s pop/rock sound!
Ooooooooh sounds super!
Beautiful Axe and you did a great job showing it's potential LEMMO !!! Thank you Jen !!!
Plus one here
And i love her is such a beautiful melody 🥰
What an amazing video - Michael’s playing is fresh and delightful-very creative arrangements. He needed and deserved a cheering crowd.
He does have a cheering crowd
Genuinely concerned we’re going to lose Lemmo to fame & fortune! His demo plays are a highlight of my week 😊
Norman's is full of rich famous people. Everytime I go I see a celebrity in there....
The sound of the guitar music that brought most of us to the dance. Clear bell like tone translates well in this guitar.
Lovely Guitar , I bought my John Lennon Casino 1965 RI in 1999 when they issued 1965 around the world , to this day I play it almost daily, love the look and sound
The depth of those early hooks is undeniable infectious with melody. Here it comes. Good luck be with you. Some wicked tone.
Lovely Beatles renditions. And I love Jen's enthusiasm too. Just like John and Paul, what a great team you two are.
Mike has such a great touch on the fretboard.....very intuitive, and effortless. 🎸👍
Lemmo, that's some of the finest Beatles' instrumental interpretations I've ever heard. The R. Krieger-like organ runs on Eleanor Rigby was sublime. Love to see your shows - make sure you come to Byron Bay in Australia sometime, I'm sure we'll all have a blast! ☺
These Lennon Casino reissues were really nice back in the day when I was looking at buying one; it was about 2007 I think, Gibson-made and priced accordingly: AU$5500/US4000-ish. A week later I found a new Rickenbacker 330 (very hard to find them new in Australia on the wall) in another shop 100m down the street. Still have it and it has a neck like a 58 Les Paul, no kidding. They're out there if you look!
That was masterful👏. On the last tune I got just a tinge of a hint, a slight taste of a tone of Steppenwolf. Which gave me an idea. I hope it gives one to Michael too. These videos are such a delight!! Thank you all.
The talent oozes from him and I’m so jealous
Gorgeous playing Michael, wow, did not want that to end! Elegant approach to playing the classics and making them your own!
Dammit Lemmo. I get both infuriated and inspired every time I get to watch you play. Infuriated watching you make it look so easy but inspired by how great you sound. You belong on a stage sir, no doubt about that. Wish every Lemmo Demo was a mandatory half hour minimum. Awesome 👍🏻👍🏻
Great playing as always Michael. I hope your gig tomorrow night will be a big success
Beautiful, I have my Daddy's 64 Dot I will send a picture as soon as I figure out how LoL 🤣
beautiful, tasteful playing, great tone from an outstanding guitar. Made me listen to my Beatles CDs again
Love the casino brilliant playing Michael thanx
Love your take on these classics. You make that guitar sing.
Just beautiful…. I love the pre Sgt Pepper’s the best…
Please keep showing us the way Lemmo
2:44 Wow - such beautiful playing! Thank you! 🥲😍
Wow stunning rendition so expressive and melodic
I don't know who you are, but you're an artist. came for the casino, liking this guy! brilliant.
Absolutely fantastic playing!
Michael really amazes me sometime. Very tasteful playing.
Lemmo's light gets brighter by the day.
Love the guitar and you made it sing. Superb renditions.
You should do a Beatles instrumental cover album. Can't get enough!
a soft but great tribute to the Golden B..., many thanks
Beautiful playing🎉
👍✌❤😎 Lemmo, ever try working out a version of tubular bells? 🤔
Bruh that hybrid picking shit he did was fucking insane
I liked and I love her a lot!!!!
Whatta byute! I like that style burst over the teardrop.
That Eleanor Rigby arrangement is crazy good! Amazing stuff!
Awesome set Michael! I’m drooling! Next guitar is either a ES 330 or a Casino! Like Norman was saying, very handy guitar! Great picking technique! Awesome video Jen! You really do these guitars well deserved justice! Thank you!
Jen ROCKS!
Las Guitarras de Norman son increibles, y el amplificador Fender Super Reverb qué utilizan en los videos suena Genial. Good Video of this Epiphone Casino❤
I'm not a betting man, but the Casino, especially a few steps up the model line, is winner!
So very well done.
Hi Michael 😎👍 Some sweet melodies coming out of that Casino! Thanks for the Demo.I love that guitars looks also , it’s a Classic. Please tell norm I said thank you and that I will take good care of it.😁🌅🙌☮️🖤🙏🕊🦋🕊✌️
I didn’t want this one to end. Christ Lemmo
Lovely playing and tone
To me the 'Early Beatles' epoch would be the Gretsch and Rickenbacker period, with the Casino line up being the mid and (Lennon) late Beatles time. Whatever, it's all great music!
Thanks Michael and Jen.
Absolutely correct, was thinking the same!
Lemmo could play those on an Affinity Squier and still make it sound TOP NOTCH.
i hope we get to see mike's mom and dad at norms and he and his dad jam 2gether. be so cool.
Sweet Jesus, that Eleanor Rigby jam was amazing!
Michael himself even looks like '65 John Lennon himself... ))
Not a compliment
Sublime playing man!
One of my favorite episodes of GOTD!
Beautiful tone, well played lemmo !
Great playing! I liked the Eleanor Rigby and Come Together!
Good Job Lemmo, in certain moments you look just like John back in the early Beatle
days......❤
One thing I definitely enjoy it is the way that Lemmo interprets "Eleanor Rigby". That interpretation sounds so complete without having to duplicate the orchestration of the original from 1966, turning it almost into a "gay, mad world". Hehehehehehe!!
Then, there's the guitar itself. I have noticed that many Beatles cover/tribute musicians choosing this model instead of the Rickenbacker John played during the first half of the 60s keep the sunburst intact. For every three, I had an outsourced version of the Casino with the natural finish because I thought that was faithful to what John ended up doing with his in '68.
Michael knows all the guitar mojo.Excellent job.
Beautiful playing, sir
think i was convinced 🎉 idk if its the guitar or the playing!!! great style!!
I love my epiphone casino!
I better get one.... True
@@danpritchett5617 You won't regret it!
I had one in my cart at Sweetwater last night. Checked to see if it was still in stock it was. Before I got checked out some lucky dog beat me to it. These are going fast and don't stay in stock long.
Love your talent as always Lemmo. Way to showcase that beauty!
What a guitarist
Fantastic instrument and playing!!! Thanks Michael
Amazing playing.
Excellant Guitar Skills-Lemmo
John Lemmon
Nice playing
You are amazing
It's cool to play Paul's tune by John's guitar!
Actually Paul was the first to get a Casino. John and George approved and got their own!
What a timing 😮 biblical lemmo
Nice arrangements Mike
Yes yes the great Epiphone 👍
Amazing guitar
Excellent !!
Good for u Lemmo
I kept thinking the long slow burn on bridge pickup tune was going to explode into the chorus of a Beatles song, but Lemmo just let it simmer instead 😅
that was biblical
immense player
john lemmo
Michael, I'm proud of you! Cool guitar. Sounds great!
PS Is it winter in California?
Sounds..n .i. c .e
Nicely done Lemmo 😊
That neck pickup sound…nothing more to add.
I have one of the Lennon 65 casinos - identical to this one. If I had to choose only one guitar out of the 30 I have, it would be the Lennon 65.
The people I've met are the same way, they prefer early Beatles....come to think of it I've never heard a single person prefer the LSD ones....
My Grandmother got to see them on their first US tour, I found the ticket stub in the garage once 😅
Sounds awesome, well done! 👍🏻
Another great dem of a reverb tank
John Lemmo Casino
damn your Eleanor Rigby was amazing!
What is the first song you're playing? It sounds so beautiful!
wow.
Can I walk into Guitar Center and buy one of these right now? Common not that I would but just curious
awesome
Nice demo !
What the tune Lemmo played with the neck & bridge pickup? I know the melody but can’t think of the song….Ughh
That’s Eleanor Rigby. Second track on Revolver, 1966
The Beatles rooftop concert. After John stripped the finish from his. Check it out.
it's obly associated to john because of the rooftop, but Paul used it more
