- In this video I show you the 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience AWD in the Amazon Gray exterior with the Gray H-Tex interior. Amazon Gray is now a Hybrid exclusive color and a few of the other colors will be changing halfway through the 2024 model year. The Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience is a carryover with an addition of more safety equipment such as rear side airbags, rear seat belt pretensioners, and steering wheel haptic feedback across every Tucson. Let me know what you think of the Tucson Hybrid in the comments below!

I have a 2023 Hybrid SEL Convenience since March. Absolutely love the car. Getting 36.2 MPG in a very hilly area of Pa. Compared to the RAV4 I also considered it so smooth and quiet. I forget I'm in a Hyundai as it reminds me of a Lexus. Tip: if you're merging or need to pull out quick in a high traffic area use sport mode so no hybrid delay. Eco has plenty of power in most situations once you're moving. Car feels high quality with no issues so far and would recommend it to the family. Also I love the capacitive buttons despite some poor reviews. They will be more reliable down the road than physical buttons, easier to clean, and more modern look. I think the layout of them is spot on. Another tip if you buy: don't block the vent in the rear seat, this keeps your batteries cool!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the info 🥰❤️🫶🏾
I just purchased the 2024 , everything you said is 100% true and it really has so much power
just upgraded to the 24 hybrid sel in amazon gray with black interior from 22 tucson sel same color. love it. love it
Me too same 2024 love this car
I just bought this exact car, same package, and exterior/interior color. Really enjoying it so far.
Congrats! Very nice indeed!
Great my 2022 Tucson in this trim looks exactly like the 2024 Model. It still looks amazing and is super fun to drive with its real 6 speed automatic paired with the 1.6L turbo
Excellent walk through thank you.
Thank you!
I have a friend that does not like the headlight locations that are being set in. When driving in the mountains of California the area fills with snow, and he has to stop now and then to clean it off. Other than that, he extremely pleased with the Tucson AWD performance. I have had a chance to drive the car and it is impressive. I don't know how they offer all the options for a price in the $36,000 dollar range. If you have not tried the Tucson, please do so before purchasing another vehicle in this class. I don't like all the shiny black plastic trim pieces either. I don't like the Fix-a-Flat system at all.
Is this awd?
Good luck with this channel.
Appreciate it!
Does this version have the lights on the interior sides?
Are you referring to the ambient lighting in the door panels?
@@CarsMadeSimple yes those
When/Why do you use the 12 volt battery reset?
Yes I just purchased the 2024 I have the same question, I remember my salesman told me if the battery is dead you don’t need a jump just press this and it will start , I told him yes yes to show him I know what he’s talking about but I think even he didn’t know , can someone please tell
Do you the difference between that one and the 2023 version of this?
The only difference for the SEL Convenience Hybrid is the exclusive Amazon Gray color to the Hybrid's and the new standard safety items they added including rear side airbags, rear seatbelt pretensioners, and haptic feedback steering wheel.
@CarsMadeSimple thank you so much! I wanted to see if there was a major difference because Im considering buying one. Thank you for your information!
Nice Job.
Maybe you could also mention any potential issues? (Like the Dual Clutch issues on the Elantra if/when you review it). I find this information helpful when considering new car purchases.
Thanks
Wow the convenience pkg on SEL basically makes it a top trim limited minus 350 cam and real leather vs H-Tex what a bargain! Do you really need a 360 cam for a compact SUV? This is the best trim for the money
I'm looking to purchase to purchase and your review is priceless!!!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
How many miles do you get with a full tank of gas?
About 460.
Nothing more than a sales pitch versus a true review of the vehicle.
Nobody can fairly review a vehicle while spending only a couple minutes or hours with it. That's why this isn't a review, it's simply a walk-around informing everyone what the vehicle has to offer.
Will you be doing this for the 2024 Sportage Hybrid too?
No this is a Hyundai channel
I like to watch vehicles I cannot afford. This is a nice SUV! My friend has a mid trimmed 2023 hybrid model. It’s very nice for a Hyundai. They’ve come a long way but Kia and them need to fix their engine issues. IDK their quality control issues but this SUV is very roomy.
36 mpg on a Hybrid ?
38
Looking good but no spare no thanks.
This has no spare?? Whatever Fvck I just bought 2024
When are these manufacturues going to stop the piano black madness? I would literally buy this car today, but I don't want to be wiping dust and fingerprint galore for the next 10 years. Not to mention how easily scratches are going to show.
It's personal preference at the end of the day but because certain consumers like this sort of finish, it is unlikely to ever go away completely.
so ınfotaınment system still is the same. :( No change at all in overall. 2024? this is 2023, 2022 totally. Even Kona 2023 is much better than this. Too shame
The 2023 Kona system is the same as the Tucson. The 2024 Kona is all new.
2024 kona is better than tucson 2023 then. In terms of the infotainment system@@CarsMadeSimple
Had a tucson and it was rubbish no buttons very dangerous to drive
