Feel like I’ve been watching Tony since he was about Joseph’s age. Even with them singing in a quartet together now, this feels like a surreal thing to watch. I can only imagine how proud Tony is and how much these memories mean to him.
I remember Tony singing with Rapscallions in Sing with the Champs at 10/11 years old. Back then it was only a tag, but he surprised them and sang Football Hero, WHOLE SONG!! Surprised so many in the room, but now it all makes sense; this was his destiny. Joe and Lois raised an outstanding man
Jesus -- what a quartet. In quartets (not counting choruses): Jeff - 2 gold medals. Gary - 3 golds (in 3 different parts). Tony - 4 golds (only one of two to ever do this) Tony's son filling in on tenor for Clancy -- who obviously has not a small amount of genetically-inherited talent. I've met Tony and Gary -- I'd like to meet Oxley some day.
Roayal Garden Blues Bari (guy on the far right) tells Tony (signing) he'll take the top note, on the fly, in the tag (ending of song), cool. at 12.45secs
Don't quote me on this but I think Main Street retired after their gold medal contest. I might be wrong though, I haven't been following barbershop for a long time

I have been watching Tony since he was 10 and it IS surreal. And YES, he is so proud to have this opportunity

That Joseph, WHAT A TENOR!
Always gets me right in the feels watching Tony and Joseph sing together!
Being in Cleveland to watch them receive golds, you could feel the love.
Woah. I'm blown away by this. Y'all ain't lost your touch at all, and Joseph you sound awesome with them
I love the joy you see in Tony when he sings with family members! ❤
The magic is still there, and Joseph fits in there like part of the family 🙂
2:17 probably the best hand-off I’ve ever heard, can’t tell if you’re not looking.
4:02 as well
@@KyleHottelwow ya I didn’t even notice haha
“I Heard You Singing”… haven’t heard that done since Grandma’s Boys recorded it in the late ‘70s. Underappreciated piece.

Awesome stuff!
"fare ye well" is so beautiful
I’ve missed hearing Jeff! ❤

Farewell No More tears me up. It's like it was written for Tony.
Is that the bass of Clutch?
Yes, it's Jeff Oxley.

@@pisslizard01 he started singing with clutch after Marcus Kang left for Korea to take care of his mother.

And of Royal Garden Blues was that a last minute swap for Gary and Tony?
Nice spot
Freaking insane
Gary Lewis. He sings bass, and can also post a G. 😂
He sang tenor first I think…😂
@@carjam2010 Yep. With Platinum.
He started winning as a tenor
Most underrated singer in Barbershop.
Yes, and superbly. Check out Platinum, the BHS 2000 International CHP quartet. @@carjam2010
Gary finally got Jeff and Tony both to crack up avoiding the slime wipe in Royal Garden Blues.
