I’ll never forget, in 1990, when about 4 lady’s from the sweet Adeline group so graciously came and sang for my mom when she was sick and dying from cancer. It greatly lifted her spirit during a very depressing time. They came dressed in their beautiful sequin gowns and did it all for free❤️Thank you Thank You So Very Very Much!!!
This is a remarkable example of what is possible within the art form. I played this for one of my friends who is a jazz afficionado and she remarked that the seeming ease with which they sang tunes like "Daddy" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" was astounding. Coming from someone who has seen many jazz greats in person, that's high praise, indeed. Ashley (Lead) is able to sing any genre/style/texture asked of her with expert precision and artistry. Jenny (Bass) is also spot-on. Whenever she wanted to, she made me laugh. Each of these women is supremely talented in their own right and having them all together in a quartet is nothing short of a miracle. I totally love Windsor!
Think you need to go back and learn what a bass part is. Half the time you can’t hear these chicks attempting the bass…or more like Alto attempting to mirror a bass part…horrible…absolutely horrible.
@@MW.Yes.That_MW I've sung Bass in a Bronze Medalist International barbershop quartet and won two gold medals as Bass section leader for the Masters of Harmony. Granted, my quartet was awarded 5 bronze medals in a row at the world championships and no higher, but we did win Harmony Sweepstakes and I feel - between that and my experience performing all over the world with my quartet - I have a decent grasp of "what a bass part is". For the record, if you read my comment in context, I was speaking of her humorous performance and how it affected me. Comedically, her timing is epic. And while I'm not a certified judge, this quartet didn't get awarded 2nd place in the world with this set by being "absolutely horrible". Your use of that phrase to describe this musical performance is hostile and indicates either envy or resentment, which is confusing. Particularly because your use of the word "chicks" rather than referring to them as women indicates that you're likely an incel. That said, I'd be happy to hear your a cappella ensemble, so those of us who enjoy such things can get an idea of your own level of expertise. Feel free to share a link.
I've been around barbershop for decades and vary rarely do I find a quartet with such blend and ring that it gives me goosebumps like you do! Grats on your silver - well deserved. I can listen to you gals all day long!
So remarkable in every way. This set was probably the greatest I've ever seen from an SAI quartet in my 20 years as a barbershopper. Superior in every aspect: intonation, ring, musical delivery, entertainment value, and atteniton to every detail. Windsor is one of the all-time greats!
Just soooo glad this came up...I am teary eyed! Superb music and funny too! Nothing could be better in this pandemic. Thank you, Ladies..you are all fabulous, oo!
Ya'll should have won first!! Your blend, power, and theatrics were all the best!!! I miss this group! Ya'll should have been Queens of Harmony too many times already!
Your dresses would go great with a crown When you turned around and we saw the back the "gasped". I bet your going to take it net year. continue to sing together your blend is fantastic. I could hear the the 5th ring.
No harmony, no vocal spread, all screeching. Barbershop is meant for male vocals to get the baritone and bas parts … these chicks need a male voice or three to balance the harmonies and help them sound better.
I know barbershop is all about harmony, but their unisons are unlike anything else I've heard. Absolutely phenomenal.

Amazing! Your dresses are almost as fabulous as your singing too.
Great tuning. Great blend. Great sounds. Great stage presence.

I just love the bass in this quartet so much, she's so funny :D
Ok
She is Debbie Cleveland's daughter.

Fabulous, beautiful, funny, charming and so refreshing.

It think womens quartets are always challenged to get that rich sound without a true bass. But these girls are amazing.
Loved the scat singing! These ladies make each song their own. A class act!
This is one of the best competition barbershop sets ever done. Period.
I am so glad this showed up on my feed!! My mom passed away a few years ago and she was in Sweet Adelines for years!! In 3 different states too!
My mom was in Sweet Adelines as well, at different times and places. We shared a passion for music, especially barbershop harmony.

This is just so good I can't quite believe it! The 'bar' at 2:32 just EXPLODES with absolute perfect balance and power.
Oh my God better than anything I've ever heard, unbelievable and the ladies are GORGEOUS! Great performers as well - all of them.
It’s been 3 years and I still get goosebumps
These beautiful ladies sing amazing! Love, love, love!
You guys are very professional!! Great harmony. Couldn’t keep my ears and eyes off you ladies!!!
They all have amazing voices and are all just gorgeous, women are fantastic!!
You girls are REMARKABLE! God bless you!
I just happened by this , a little late, but I love Barbershop and they were just awesome and the added humor made it even better 💕💕
What a wonderful experience, something that you ladies, will never forget! Lovely voices! Great job!
Fantastic performance! Loved the first Andrew Sisters tune.
Absolutely stunning and magnificently talented!!!
The bass is hilarious. She's so good.
I think it's harder to pretend to sing badly than sing well. :) She made it look easy
You all blend so well! The best I've heard so far
I miss Windsor :(
I never get tired of watching this performance.
Oh my God, such tremendous harmonies!
Brilliant!!! So deserving of their silver medal...
Wow, what a performance!
The musicianship of this group was surpassed only by the knockout dresses! Whooee, red liner, even!
3 years later and I still haven't found a better SAI tag than 11:12 - 11:33. Champs in my book!
I enjoyed the performance but 11:12 to 11:33 fades to noise for me.
Just soooo glad this came up...I am teary eyed! Superb music and funny too! Nothing could be better in this pandemic. Thank you, Ladies..you are all fabulous, oo!
Softs are remarkable..jazzy style is pleasing. Sense of humor comes out in lyrics! Adorable.
I think I watched this video about 5 times. I'm OBSESSED. Came from heaven !!
Really very refreshing to see and they are funny and musically talented well done girls.
Pretty amazing!! So talented!! WoW!!
2021 anyone ? They are awesome!!
The Lead also sings with Voctave, and the bari is married to Johnny Maroni Bari of Vocal Spectrum, 2006 BHS Champs.
Stellar!
Ya'll should have won first!! Your blend, power, and theatrics were all the best!!! I miss this group! Ya'll should have been Queens of Harmony too many times already!

Fantastic!!!
Incrível ♡

You ladies have a very special gift of entertaining. Your bass singer is just a hout. Keep up the awesome work.
Had you on one! :)
Fun to watch and wonderful!
Why are they called Windsor?
How is no one talking about the baritone/tenor flip at 8:03?
The Andrews sisters would have applauded the ladies
