I got to see Hank and Waylon sing it in person in Tempe Az in 1988 or 89 great show. Waylon opened for Hank then they played together andHank brought the house down. Mind blowing. Best Concert ever.
Hank Bocephus Williams Junior a loaded man he is the top number one American artist of the decade it’s it’s about time we recognize this true American hero
Great Share, Two Great Artists.Hank Jr, Waylon What a Great Find on Ur Page Txs both of u 😊. I Had The Pleasure, To See You in Concert Hank Jr in Late 80's In British Columbia. You Are Amazing,In Concert. That Particular one,You Also Had Kentucky Headhunters and Steve Wariner. Three Epic Ppl,Txs For Memory . Also Your,Music. Fan 4ever 😊.👍♡ 🎵
That's so sad.....and right! These new guys ( save for Jamie Johnson and Stapleton) have no reverence for the past that made their existing possible ( artistic freedom!!)
Yep, Sturgill Simpson is keeping Outlaw country music alive, but his only song that ever came on country radio got taken off air because of the lyrics...bullshit
Jim Brooks I truly believe if they started playing this again. like just this song let's say comes on the radio all the hipster country people would be all over it...oooooo vintage oooooo nostalgia and they'd start requesting this song more and more then they'd go to youtube and iTunes or whatever discover more and keep requesting old music then younger musicians would change to what's a hit again and start sounding like this again. I was a radio broadcaster drop out and I had this argument with the shitty radio station that was at the college. and I won said argument cause I started calling in everyday 4 times requesting a older rock song and then people joined in and the radio station wasn't playing much new anymore for just 2 weeks tho. it's crazy what people can do
The Conversation.Waylon & Hank Jr are great and Waylon looks great with the leather & lace guitar and singing about the life of a legend Hank Williams Sr. Bocephus is great talking about the love life of Miss Audrey and Hank Sr. Hank let's talk about your daddy. Great song great singers Waylon & Hank here is to the good old days.
This is one of those songs where anyone would be jealous of waylon... Cuz he got to ask hank Jr about hank sr. I'd kill to have a conversation like that with hank jr
I would like to see Hank and shooter Jennings and family and jelly roll make some kind of sweet ass tracks layed down in a recording studio and shake up the music world...now that's crazy
Still a lot of interest?!!!! Are you kidding Junior??? You're dad will ALWAYS be interesting even 1200 years from now! Nobody had more pure country western talent the he did, not then, not today, not ever!!!
Yeah I was bout to say hank 3 is more of a outlaw than junior was I think, yeah he won’t take stage with shooter! I like shooter, hank 3 I don’t know about his music just not my cup of tea
@@JJ-go2vo Basically because Shooter started his career out in LA as a rock musician in his band Starrgun. I guess they've buried the hatchet since I left that comment.
Man, I sure miss Waylon! I loved it when they teamed on some kick ass country music!!
Going back to this song after 8 years, feels like yesterday
I'm hooked on this song and it's 2020.
Possibly the best Tribute Songs ever written to Date!
Wish I could have been alive in the days these good old boys were out there and hitting it hard! Just love this good old boy country music
Just the best. Waylon is, was and always will be the coolest dude that ever lived
Married The hottest chick too! Jesse Colter was a looker boy!
Right on the money
It's good to see that I'm not the only one who feels that way. I named my youngest son Waylon.
And that's why my parents named me after him
Man they sounded so good together. They should paired
up on more songs.
We all miss Waylon and glad ole Jr is still around making music! Outlaw country plays on and is still some of the best ever written.
What a treat Hank...Never saw this before and I love it. God Bless ya Brother. God Bless Waylon and our beloved Southern lives!!!
I agree with that
I got to see Hank and Waylon sing it in person in Tempe Az in 1988 or 89 great show. Waylon opened for Hank then they played together andHank brought the house down. Mind blowing. Best Concert ever.
This is so f'n good,I can't put it into words...two legends!
Two legends.
I love this & wish i had got the chance to see Waylon live ❤
Great performance. Didn't care for the extra instrumental stuff, but it's still two of the greatest outlaws in country music!
Hank Bocephus Williams Junior a loaded man he is the top number one American artist of the decade it’s it’s about time we recognize this true American hero
Hank, would really like to see you and your son do an original album, one for the ages! God Bless!
Hank jr is probably the only person who’s music sounds better with less instruments because of his voice alone
TEXASMUDNECKSAY
Well said my friend
THE EAGLES WILL FLY!
I think his daddy was the same way
His voice was so unique and powerful it made me enjoy music
And Waylon, back when music was music & not computers
Waylon Jennings the greatest to ever do it!
these where the best days, I would love to be back there. so sad how times have gotten
Waylon looks pretty good in this video. He's actually probably one of the most handsome men I know about.
Waylon was high as hell..drugs to do people yall..people do them.
Love that son. Miss you Waylon
I met Waylon once. He looked me right in the eyes, shook my hand and said “ How ya doing Hoss!!”

Whoever disliked this video needs their head checked.
It's really sad that if this song were written today, "country" radio wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

Hank let's talk about your daddy.
Great song great singers Waylon & Hank here is to the good old days.
Jesus these guys are frickin awesome.
The only two individual singers that sounded so great together, that they could have made more #1 hits as a duo than singles
Wish there were more live recordings of this song
BigRig there are like 3 or four on here#loveit
An awesome one from Nashville now 1988.

Great upload !
Right after the first time Waylon hands the verse to Jr I swear Hank looked like he was holding back. Laughter it
Gold!
WAYLON yeeeeeaaaaaah
hank jr being the sober one is funny, but waylon is the king.
there should be a Coversation remake with Shooter and Hank 3..just a thought
It'll never happen. Hank III can't stand Shooter.
Yeah I was bout to say hank 3 is more of a outlaw than junior was I think, yeah he won’t take stage with shooter! I like shooter, hank 3 I don’t know about his music just not my cup of tea
I think they did this with Hank Williams daughter singing with Shooter..

Awesome
Anyone know the year?
2012???
Conversation came out in 82 and this is probably 83-84
What year was this please?
I don't know - I so wish people would include the dates. I would guess mid to late 70's by the looks of the two of them. Just a guess, though.
Page Ribe thank you
In the early 80s
About 1980 as I remember it
