It's not a solution it will work for a couple hundred miles at best, replace it with a manual cam chain tensioner and you'll have no tensioner troubles anymore.

Thanks. I got 2011 Repsol and my HISS blinking light not blinking ones I lock my bike. That keep blink every 2 second for 24 hour.Any major problem that I can expect from it?

Hiss light only does that for 24 hours. I believe it stopped blinking after 24 hours to save energy. But the hiss still work even though it's not blinking. Read this in some forum

@@everythingsbetternaked473 or replace with oem and get another 10k miles out of it and not run the risk of over tightening your cam chain and destorying the guide.

@@joshhill4903 That's what i did when the spring on mine actually failed ( was lucky enough i killed the engine immediately because i knew what it was) before it grenaded itself.
Then replaced it with another OEM tensioner, guess what 2k miles later i had the same problem again. Paranoid of another spring failing on me i went with a manual tensioner 25k miles later no problems, no rattles, no worn chain guides and haven't even had to adjust it in all that time :).
They are easy to install just turn them in untill the rattle goes away, if to tight it will start whirring, if it's to lose it starts rattling. also you can lift the valve cover and check chainslack to be extra safe.

@@everythingsbetternaked473 if you do use a manual tensioner, checking the tension visually is the best way to be sure the next guy isnt going to end up replacing chain guides and the tensioners (since were technically talking about the lifter). I just know ive seen a few chewed guides from people that just wrenched her down and called it good, like said, the purpose wasnt to say "manual is shit", just much easier to do a lot of damage with.
