- I was sent a CUSTOM LEGO STAR WARS GEONOSIS ARENA from Republic Bricks & it's dang good. It includes over 2000 pieces & 3 Minifigures (Padme, Jango Fett, & Count Dooku)! With 2022 being the 20th Anniversary of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones this may be one of the best custom LEGO Star Wars sets to pick up if you've been wanting one since the movie came out. it's been 20 years and there's still no official LEGO Star Wars model of the classic scene.

A cool thing for lego to do imo is to release three separate sets, each with a pillar, one of the beast/creatures, and 2 minifigs in each set: 1 geonosian, and then split obi-wan, anakin, and padme among the three sets (corresponding to which creature they fight in episode 2)

I feel like there could be two smaller sets with the pillars and then some of the build, and then a bigger set with the bigger part of the build. also hopefully they'd come with more than two figures.

I thought the same thing, maybe each set has a section of wall too so purchasing the 3 separate sets builds a diorama like this custom set. Then if you want a bigger arena just buy duplicates until you achieve the size you like. Follow it up with geonosian battle packs, geonosis droid battle packs, and jedi battle packs - or maybe have wall sections with those too!
There's plenty of viable options for LEGO to make a Geonosis arena and make great sales, they just need to pick a route and then advertise. If they build it we will come lol

Count duko looks good, I like jango except for the helmet, its just way too big. I am not feeling the print for padme at all. The Nexsue is just way too big as well. The rhino (reek?) is okay, the akclay is awesome though. The actual building structures look really nice and are probably the best part IMO. 5 out of 10
I like all of the creatures and the builds but the padme figure is meh

Out of all the custom Republic Bricks builds this one feels the most like a true LEGO play set. I could totally see this being official LEGO. The other sets he makes are more UCS display sets (which aren't bad at all, in fact I prefer them that way).
My biggest problem with the Acklay is the stud eyes on the sides. If you just take that off, the front of the face is more accurate and that sand green stud/plate combo is already a perfect way to imply eyes.
And not padme showing off her you know what?

The viewing box looks good, I think if Lego made this set they would do the entrance and viewing box then only do the wall off to one side of it, use 2*2 rounds for the pillars and have a very small speeder cart thing. For figures they would probably do no jango, but include obi wan, Anakin, padme, a geonoasian, poggle, and dooku. Then jango vs mace would be a cool $20 duel set.
An Arena of Justice sounds like something we would build
I feel like if Corey is the one that built the set you should have had him on with his thoughts on the building process. Great video, really cool looking set.
This is pretty good looking and republic bricks prices ain’t bad for customs sacrifices the packaging but in return u get a better deal and ton of piece builds.
Looks good for a 360 print for the figures and I believe Dooku legs is fully 360 printed,looks like it’s a dual molded leg but I think it’s actually a really good brown print maybe.

I would love it if LEGO did something similar to what they did for Helms deep.
You’ve got the main set which gives you the main part of the build, works well standalone but you can buy a smaller set making up part of the wall.
The wall part as a stand-alone set works well, but you are encouraged to buy the main set.
This is my #1 set that Lego NEEDS to make

The Cousin Corey mustache growth time lapse section of the video is awesome. 👍 UV prints usually get all bubbled up cause the hobbyist running the machine doesn’t understand that they need calibrate it during the print run. But it is what it is. It’s just sad that usually it becomes a roll of dice when ordering uv printed figs in the community. There are too many people charging $50-$60 for bubbled up 🗑. The least they can do is fully learn the printing process before charging people. Has nothing to do with republic I just get sick of the half a$$ figs. The build looks dope man. Great looking set from Republic. 🤘
This set is well thought out and designed for being a custom set. It looks good for not getting a Lego licensed one. Might be a dream come true for a couple people that want a set like this.

This custom set seems really cool. If you had 3 all connected in a large circle and a bunch of clones,battle droids, and genosians this would be a amazing display piece.
If this included with some more figs Anakin, Obiwan and some droids the value would be good. Geonosians would be ideal but they're not in production and I don't know of any custom versions.

This set really captures those early days of brick built figures. And di despite the old models being fully molded pieces , the brick build offer more articulation

That’s a cool set!! Yes, I find it a bit expensive, no it’s not something I want or need; but it’s still very cool. I like the overall look of the set, you can tell a lot of time has been spent making sure it has some genuine playability, and it has a few minifigs!! What a difference they make. Personally I’d have thrown in a few battle droids as well, they’re pretty worthless to source but go a long way in a set like this. Great video.

I think those things in "cavern" area in the back of the middle section are Geonosian eggs.
That’s a great set idea and you should add your own mini figures from Star Wars episode 2 to complete the scene from it!
The builds for the arena beasts are cool but if lego every gets to making an arena I really hope that custom molds get made for them

Even though I do not care for Star Wars Episode 2, I would love to see LEGO release a Geonosis Arena set. Considering they haven't released one before, it would certainly be a neat set to see.

If this set was actually retailed by LEGO, they should call it “Battle at the Geonosis Arena”, make it a large $600-700 set (like the Mos Eisley Cantina), and also include a few side builds like a smaller Republic Gunship and a Clone Trooper command station similar to the one in the minifigure pack. The minifigures that should be in the set should be: Count Dooku, Poggle the Lesser, Jango Fett, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, Clawed Padmé (it should also have an alternate torso for an intact version of her white bodysuit), Obi Wan Kenobi, Aayla Secura, Coleman Trebor, Luminara Unduli, Jedi Bob, Yoda, 2 Clone Troopers, a Clone Commander, a Clone Captain, a Clone Pilot, 3 Geonosian Battle Droids, 2 Geonosian Soldiers and 2 Super Battle Droids for a grand total of 24 minifigures.
Padme looks whack with that flesh tone waist instead of it being ripped on the torso.
Finally, a worthy Geonosis set!
For just the pieces alone I feel like it’s worth the money. Even if you wanted to break it down for pieces, you’d have a solid amount to reuse for a custom small base or a really filled baseplate build. I wish the figures were real, I think I’d rather not have any figures if they aren’t gonna be real. But they do look pretty good for non official figures.

The Nexu looks a bit too big, I think they should find a way to build him smaller, or make the pillars bigger. Other than that this set looks amazing.

If we ever got this set, personally Id prefer molded beasts over brick-built. Generally if something its going to look good brick built the bigger the better. But either way I think theres two good ways for lego to this. Either include everything in a MBS, OR have several different sets that all go together (I love when Lego does this and wish they did it more). The sets could be based around the beasts but also a good way to collect more characters/elements.
Example:
- Chariot set (serves as a battle-pack esc set) 15-25$. Includes molded beast that pulls the chariot, chariot as the build (maybe a small buildable terrain as well) and includes 2 geonosians & 2 battle droids
Padme & Nexu 30-40, includes molded nexu, pillar, nexu gate/wall/seating (attaches to the main build), padme with a scratched back, and a geonosian.
Anikan & Reek 50-60, includes molded reek, pillar, reek gate/wall/seating (attaches to main build), includes anikan and two droid dekas
Obi-wan & Acklay 80, includes molded acklay, pillar (with option to fall), acklay gate/wall/seating, includes Obi-wan, geonosian and two battle droids
Main arena set 100-120, includes main center piece, count dooku, pogel the lesser, nute gunray, jango fett, mace windu, & 2 super battle droids, plus 4 battlesdroids & parts, as similarly the back of the set serves as the droid assembly line w/features
I really hope Lego makes another Jango Fett Mini-figure.
