Samsung Book 4 edge 16' has the highest end X Elite variant (84-100) so would be great if you could test that
I've been using Steam since it came out, and I find I prefer older games. I have a hulking Alienware laptop that can handle modern AA games, though I don't own that many of them. But I travel a lot for work, and I need something I can unwind on in the evenings when I'm in some distant hotel.I am amazed how much I can game on my SL7. I would say most of my Steam library works. I didn't expect to have much trouble with XCOM 2, and I didn't, but the Hitman games, We Happy Few, Witcher 3, GTA, Beyond a Steel Sky? Also no problem.
Can you run minecraft with shaders in surface 7
why is everybody benchmarking with unplayable games. i want to see this thing running league of legends - a pretty well known game that can run on any potato

Don’t buy this for gaming. Buy it if you want a productivity laptop that can do some light gaming and emulation

Brother, please reply to this (I am a starting college student):- In India during the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale/Flipkart BBD sale, base M1 MacBook Air will be priced around 50k (500 USD); base M2 Air at around 65k (650 USD) and the base M3 at around 85k (850 USD) and the 16 GB variant of the M3 at around 105k (1050 USD). My logic is :- If I buy M1 Air base variant today; it could last me for next 3-4 years but then its resale price will be 0. We can skip the base M2 and there is no point in upgrading the storage as I could just pick the M3 for that price. Now, for the M3, for the 350 dollars, difference I will get a better laptop for next 3-4 years and after that I would get a resale value of around 400-500 dollars which means I could kind of own a M3 Air for less than an M1 Air in a 4 year time frame. Then, if I add the 16 GB upgrade (extra 200 USD), in the 4 years time, when 8 GB ram would really not be enough, I could get additional 150-200 USD resale value (around 70k or 700 USD) meaning it would cost be around the same as the 8 GB M3 MacBook Air or maybe less as 16 GB ram models will be in demand then. So, what call should I take? Which would be a wiser value for money deal??? Please bro, please reply.
I own base m2 air. I would suggest you just get a base version m3 and u can buy a Samsung SSD for cheap. The base version should be good enough for day to day tasks
@@SAI-m7s9q I know that the base M3 Air would be enough for day to day tasks but I have seen the difference the 16GB ram makes and thinking about the future resale value of the 16GB M3 MacBook Air; it is very tempting to pay the extra 200 dollars which would get me around 100-150 dollars back on resale and I would own a much better and almost perfect laptop for 3-4 years down the line. Your take?
