If you've had impactful experiences in your journey with social anxiety or if you have tips to share for overcoming these experiences, I'd love to hear!
this really helped me make the connection between trauma from rejection as a trans kid (with the subsequent continued misgendering endured to sell sex to survive) and my present-day social anxiety about what people think of me (which impacts things such as going to classes and preparing meals in a shared kitchen) they seemed unrelated in the sense that i know im physically safe now and other students are likely LGBT+ supportive or a part of the community themselves thank you for the video, i have a better understanding of the "how" and "why" to all the "what" i carry around
You are so welcome, @ropephobic, and this is such good insight. The connections between past trauma and present/longstanding emotional challenges can be difficult to make. I'm glad this was helpful and that you were open to sharing your feedback.
