- In this episode of Iron City garage, Pete is off to New Jersey to recover a 1962 Chevy impala convertible that a RUclips subscriber has in his backyard. Come with us as we travel from Pittsburgh to New Jersey in hopes of finding an awesome rare piece of American automotive history. We are specifically looking for convertible impala’s, fastback mustangs, GMC, Chevy big window trucks or pre-60s COE is. Well, it's about time you got something good on this program. That is a very beautiful Chevy. I used to have one when I was younger in upstate New York. I regret getting rid of it after it got right. Africa erect haven't found one like it since.
Fun video! Reminds me of the black SS you guys rescued a while back and it was fun watching Bill thrash it! The seller was also fun to listen to, let's hope Clay gives the '62 a little thrashing if she runs!

Or he just saw what most of us do at some point, way to much crap hanging around, to get this car to the point he would be happy with might just be out of reach or will, so sell it while it can still get you some cash to finish something else. Way to many of us just store shit until its just rusty bumps with a shape held together by paint. Get rid of it, sell it to someone that have the time and will to do something with it before it is to late.

I'm not sure what exactly the person you bought that impala from was meaning by the engine. GM's "ZZ" block is a crate engine that i don't know much about. Not sure if he was talking about GM's 302 CID "DZ" block that came from the Z28 camaro's. The "DZ" blocks are EXTREMELY rare! They are a 327 with a 283 stroke. Might want to look into that before you sell it. Awesome video!
