The best strategy for a Maus squad is NOT to to stick together. Have them all go to different places on the map. That way that Pe-8 situation doesn't happen :)
Pro tip for the Maus: Use PzGr 43 instead of the weird 12,8/8,8. Why? cuz yeah the 12,8/8,8 has 40mm more of pen HOWEVER it is a wierd sabot APHE round, meaning it bounces WAY more than the PzGr 43 and this can be a problem when fighting agains any tank with angled armor, also PzGr 43 has 786 grams of tnt filler meaning you can shot anywhere and if it pens it will do the overpressure effect and obliterate the entire intirior of the tank while 12,8/8,8 just can´t whit it´s 108 grams of tnt filler. You will also enjoy way more to do one-shots like 95% of the time and just enjoy more the Maus experience.
