Thanks first of all for all the reviews you do. I’m excited for the new YXZ 1000 line up now. I purchased the 2022 LE RMax 4 seater after I saw your review but I wanted the YXZ with automatic transmission and it wasn’t available at the time. So, now I might sell this LE for the XT YXZ. Phenomenal review as always 👍🏼🥂
LOL😄 Steven, you saved the Viking for last. We bought that new in 2019 with absolutely no regrets. The most dependable machine I've ever owned. It's perfect for the wife and I and our lab. It goes in the dunes, the rocks etc. Not flashy but if I wanted speed I'd ride my quad. Well done.
Man, I feel like a now need another YXZ. I absolutely loved my 2020 XTR but ended up selling it due to the gearing being just too high for where I ride. Really excited to try out the new one.
Great videos as always Great narration You are very educated about the products and equipment Yamaha needs to drop the 700 Kodiak and invest in a two up chassis
Stop with only pointing out power specs. Unlike others, still top notch build quality, reliability and longevity. If this was a Polaris or Can am review, then that’s all they have to offer! Great video.
Unfortunately that's not how it works. Required maintenance intervals performed only by the dealer are required for that warranty and even then many don't make it that long.@@kractass
This new 6 speed transmission in the YXZ will allow Yamaha to keep this plattform unchanged for at least 5 more years... 😑🙄 They sure know how to milk that cow
First is to be real low second is old first. I'll take not having to wrench on toys after every ride. Or worrie about belts and fires 50 miles from truck.
So disappointing, same ol' same ol'. Time to fire the head of Yamaha. None of their machines are competitive. I grew up with Yamaha. Are they turning into Suzuki?
No they’re not. At least Yamaha is making an attempt, albeit small. The other 3 have been sitting on their asses these past few years. There hasn’t been anything new and exciting to the market for awhile now. It’s been a real snooze fest in the Powersports world.
@@lost_marblesadv they haven't changed the grizzly in forever, what other 3? japanese ? a real snooze fest, you have your head up your ass if you really believe that.
2018 Viking and 2019 Grizzly owner, absolutely love them and zero issues so far.
Yamaha has the most experience being the only manufacturer to sell pure sport ATV'S thank you Yamaha 🙂
I love shifting my YXZ. It’s my favorite feature!

Wish the Viking had a Park mode for transmission and a Turf mode for the rear end.
@@yesmaybe3791It's just a leftover renamed Rhino.
No Yamahas are competitive in their segment.
Your lab? You guys going into the desert making some Walter White??? ( *joke, I know you mean your pup, been watching Breaking Bad)
I had an 04 yfz 450 I bought new as a "kid", haha. Absolutely loved it!
That wolverine x2 1000 would be a awesome trail rig.

On the Woverine X2 1000 is the horsepower and top speed the same as the RMAX?
Yes it is
Wish Yamaha would bring back the big bear 400irs with 5speed semi automatic. Have a 2019 kodiak 450eps with 6300km on it. Zero issues.
I have a 2018 Viking and 2021 Grizzly. They are bullet proof.
They should have named the wolverine x2 a Rhino!! Totally missed out on that lol
Looking forward to the x2 1000.
I think the Viking needs the 850 and a little better suspension;
Yes , I really like our Viking , the dump bed and 3 wide seating are a few of it's best features , but the 850 or 1000 would be sweet
I always read that you get maximum articulation by unhooking the sway bars!
So we have two wolverine 2 seater 1ks?
You have one Wolverine X2 1000 in R-Spec and XTR trim packages.
If you don't know why the yfz 450 is more expensive , you should probably not be doing a motorsports show.
They need a Wolverine model with the sequential gearbox. That would really compete with Hondas pioneer lineup.
Can you test the 2023 Arctic Cat Alterra Black hills Edition and the TRV limited?
I hope that means there will be a six speed upgrade for the older yxz.
Still waiting on yamaha to put those twin power plants into a grizzly and also make a sport 4x4 wheeler to compete with the scrambler and renegade
Yamaha!!! Bring back the Raptor 250!!!
I just bought the X2 1000 and love it, much better visibility over the Rmax
Good job. Liked and subscribed.
Why do they use belts when they are crap?
Indonesia people want this...
If they had change the rear suspension on the yxz, it would have been the perfect sxs
I really love the Wolverine line but I'll never consider them for purchase as long as those belts are still that ridiculously difficult to change.
Ya but you have 10 years to psych yourself up!
Unfortunately that's not how it works. Required maintenance intervals performed only by the dealer are required for that warranty and even then many don't make it that long.@@kractass
@ 9:47 "the Raptor 450..."
The 450 is not a Raptor in name or spirit. It's a competition model that is much more aggressive than the Raptor 700.
Those are all $10,000 too much for what you get like all SXS's. Just because it has two seats it cost that much more?
2024 yxz1000r has launch control in first and second gear
Read second gear only first to low.. second is the old first
Only had 1 triple in the shop and it's on the third expensive clutch, I know the guy drives like an animal but?
You mentioned a raptor 450… it’s a 350 ; )
He meant the yfz450. The video showed that
This new 6 speed transmission in the YXZ will allow Yamaha to keep this plattform unchanged for at least 5 more years... 😑🙄 They sure know how to milk that cow
the viking needs more power
What about rmax
Think of the Wolverine X2 1000 as an RMAX Trail Edition
In the meantime Polaris is pricing themselves out of the market to compete with the Bronco and the Wrangler. 😂
Yxz same old machine , and no travel , way behind everyone else , and probably can't crawl on very technical terrain 😅
First is to be real low second is old first. I'll take not having to wrench on toys after every ride. Or worrie about belts and fires 50 miles from truck.

This price is why CFMOTO is worth every penny then this. More features and less price? I know build quality for Yamaha is prime though.
If they made a z force with a dump bed would for sure buy. But i dont u force.
-CVT ahh i so hate them
This is why i bought a zforce 1000. Sure might not be as quick and nimble as the yammies. But the cost is 7-12k cheaper aud
You get what you pay for. Cf are garbage
