Hey bro, just wanted to give you a quick shout out and recognize the effort and attention to detail you paid to the production of this video; the cinematic quality of you just free-riding through the city, the cuts between locales... beautifully done. Being real, that was so captivating that it's kept my attention throughout the video far beyond when that sequence was shot. Compliments to you and the editor man.. keep 'em rollin'
Absolutely agree I’m a big fan these awesome beast ,I’m 72,years old Dragon scooter rider ,fantastic video
Yeah for real, this is insanely good. And if stuff like this doesn't get new people into the hobby, nothing will.
How did you get them to send it to you for free to text it out and review it
That Hal sensor safety feature seems like a sensible idea
Same with newest patton fw
It's awesome, I love a good fail safe
This is the greatest video ever made about the greatest wheel ever made.
There’s nothing wrong with being a Leaperkim fanboy; it’s the best euc brand after all!
I'm glad to see both IM and Leaperkim have implemented safeguards for hall sensor failures.
Timestamps are now added!
Did you enjoy this in depth review? Would you prefer to see less chatty Jack and more riding instead?
Great job as always!! Thank you
No, this video had the perfect mix of insightful and personable. Great work!
Congratulation Jack on 10k subscribers.
Excellent content!
The timestamps are appreciated.
What was cut from the first version you uploaded?
~27 minutes vs ~21 minutes
Great job Electric Dreams Team, I love the informative first look at the new wheels you provide, please keep them coming, top quality product.
Congrats on hitting 10K Jack! Nice video :)
🎉
Yo plz someone sponsor this guy. This quality review
stating the obvious but if you keep at it man, it will happen re growing the channel. always good to see EUC content from you.
WOW. Your video editing skills are pro level. Companies should hire you to promo their gear!
They basically do already haha Nice to see early reviews anyway
Comparing amps between 100v and 150v systems ?
Of course low volt system draws more amps. Doesn't mean it's much more less efficient. Definitely not by comparing the amps...
Let me just tell what I mean.
120 amps * 150 volts = 1800 watts of power
180 amps * 100 volts = 1800 watts of power
numbers are for example. looking at these number only they use the same watt hours and are as efficient
Right? Lol. P=VI
@@jimbobextremeC Really ?:D tell me more about it
Exactly. We compare battery capacity in watt hours for a reason. Comparing amps or amp hours only works if the voltages are the same. Otherwise we should use watts or watt hours
In that case, the current expressed is the phase/motor current. This is not related to the battery voltage nor current. The wheels are obviously not draining 100+A from the battery packs 😉
But still, I suppose that the motor on the Lynx is more torque-oriented than the Sherman S one (lower kV rating).
That's why it takes lower phase current to generate the "same" mechanical output. But you can't compare the phase current between motors with different parameters anyway, so it's not a valid comparison I agree.
Will need to included volts in the video too for next run
Great video Jack. I think I'm going to get one 😄
U already have one!
@@official.electricdreams 🤣
@@ElectricUnicycles Couple of more days for the batteries Marty :)
Looks tempting Marty maybe a spare would be nice after that V13 purchase earlier this year. I learning something after purchasing that high quality EUC that can go 50 miles and hour without cutting out....and that is that these wheels will keep evolving
such as this lynx now..
Smaller, Faster built for
Extream riding conditions with a better overall range, the high
price is an obsticle
In todays world but with time the price will drop and if more refinements come out such as a 4500watt motor, redundant BMS, a
16in tire maybe... Ect Ect Ect the wait will be worth while.
@@invinsible1100 fortunately I have the batteries now and the wheel is running 🙂
Way to go! Thousand percent improvements and growth. Great video.
cinematography was on point! great work man
The Abrams newest firmware also allows it to keep riding with hall sensor errors!
Newest firmware? I thought the newest was the 2.0.15?
@@Gyae_Roth Yes that's the one.
This Abrams firmware drops the rider backwards during hard breaking on speed around 15 kph. Also it makes the wheel oscillate unpleasantly when riding down stairs.
Thank you for the awesome video! The amount of work put into this can be seen :)
dude. The production of this video is fire!!
Most beautiful footage of any EUC review ive ever seen! And a thorough review too. Nice work.
Finally. Great video as always Jack
OMG amazing production quality and presentation! The nighttime overhead drone shot is the chef's kiss.
Great Video Jack! Loving the new production quality these last few videos, it really shines. Great work by your camera man as well. Cheers
I put on 60 mm dropped pedal hangers on the master . The riding characteristics got extremely better and no more wobbles whatsoever handles better, and you can get more power out of it on the lean
where did you get them from? (thanks!)
What brand are they?
I like the editing of this video! Keep going man!
You did an amazing job with this review! I can tell you've been learning and improving production quaility and putting together a video. Every new video just one ups the last video. Great Job!
Haha my sponsors help pay for the videographer, this would be too much to do as one man job!
Thank you for making this detailed and carefully prepared content available to us, keep it up, soon your channel will grow even more, congratulations =)
Your reviews are among the best - always very relevant tech info, nice comparisons with thought thru beautifull filming. 10.000 subs ??? You def deserve more viewers mate.
Great content jack! Maintain this style of video in your future contents.
Hey I start to looking at euc for a while ago,and I came over your videos. I think you do the best review on euc. I have looking on other review, but I always think yours are the best. Kep on doing your reviews.
I must say - electric dreams is getting better with ever single review. Good job, I'm really glad for the sensorless REAL RIDE test and the top speed test. These 2 are really challenging to do, thank you.
Great review. Subbed. That hall sensor loss feature is very reassuring.
Always lots of knowledge but also how good the two of you are together, friends forever no doubt. Please keep it coming.
6 pac Gord
11:15 - 12:12 I really like the mini montage, camera shots. That's new. You really put some thought, effort and editing into this review
Amazing mate, 👏 top notch skills on both wheel and in front the camera...very informative, clear..and cover everything, great geeky stats too. 👍
Legend.
easily one of the best euc reviews ive ever seen amazing work man keep it up
begode et max review in the future?
nicely done! watched it 3 times! lol video is very well made and tells me a lot about the new ride I'm getting. :) Thanks for spending so much time making a quality vid! really appreciate it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The headlight coverage looks great!
Hi Jack, congratulations on 10k! You deserve it as you make excellent videos.
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks for always commenting!
Very impressively made review!
Great video. Very detailed and you did a great review of it. 🤙🏾The Links is awesome.
Awesome video. You did a great job showing off the wheel and explaining it's features. These EUCs are getting crazy fast and tough. And remember safety 3rd.
Are you saying veteran doesn’t put enough effort into safety? What other features would you like to see?
@darkstar4494 No, safety 3rd is a saying that I heard of from the host of the show Dirty Jobs. It means to stay safe, but don't let safety stop you from getting the job done. At least, that's how I look at that saying.
Solid video, game changer wheel for sure. Subscribed ✅
Nice job! Thanks for the review!
Cheers 🍻
Great video- Jason is the goat! Love ewheels-
Love to see the individual cell monitoring!
Perfect video, perfect test. Well done
Congratulations on the 10k, baby boi! Lmao. This video was fantastic! I didnt even know this wheel existed, but now i want one. ahaha. I cant AFFORD one, but i want one.... dilemma...
Excellent video! Great job! 🫡
Review was fantastic buddy great wheel and production of vid awesome
Glad you enjoyed it
Best EUC reviews on the interweb. 🤩 👍
Great review. Thanks
Great review, I'm 47. Thinking about getting my first wheel.
Leaning towards this one. I know it's probably overkill. But I want off-road and range.
I won't be going over 40kph. So range should be awesome
Great review, tuning in from the UK, youve made up my mind for me, whats the armour your wearing, i like that shoulder protection, thats an area ive fallen on a few times, subbed bro 👊
Comgrats! Ome of your best videos ever!
Great review
The hall sensor safeguard is what really sold me on the wheel.
A like for the effort.
What i need is a full explanation on the display and app settings. Not easy to gues what what is, like the inmotion.
Great review! Very Thanks
Great Video💛
great review!
Nice revieuw looks like a great wheel.
very professional sir...order on way :)
Great review, great wheel. Many thanks :-).
Great video!
Sick video! Keep is up!
Liked and subscribed! Also, shout out to Jason at eWheels!
I don't know if I have seen a better review. The production quality and how thoroughly well you reviewed this for sure gained me a subscription! Can't wait to see what's next! Thank you
thank you for subbing!
Man I just crashed n totalled my og. Lol looks like this will be my next. Nice review well done again
Good job nice review
balance without hall sensor? how does that work?
Great great video!!! What are you running for power pads and what would you recommend?
Hot damn this review is next level. This is the shit. I'm sad I bought a patton, this wheel looks absolutely sick.
Nothing to be sad about bro! Parton is a great wheel!
Best. review. ever.
Hi, would you recommend the ninebot n70c for normal commute in china? Is there any obvious faults in it?
Would love your opinion
which tire do you have on that sherman-S (in the power efficiency section of the video) ?
great vidoe , thanks
Hall Sonsorless ride is crazy!! Love to see this probably in response to the V13's dual hall sensor motor and hope to see more of this safety tech in more brands and more wheels in the industry (*ahem* looking at you Begode)
Great content as always, very informative, this wheel is incredible! Cheers
thx for sharing!
Quick question, what website offers the 50S battery? You say its E-Wheels but your link in the description says E-Rides 🤷
Thanks for your time
I love those tires personally
I'll have this one day 👀
water resistance and battery cables under the pedals, pls?
Would be my next wheel as I just ordered v14;
Very cool stuff! How will the one wheel react to a blown tire at 90 kmph?
i live a place where it rains a lot, can the lynx handle water?
What is all of the rattling in the power/efficiency section?
Great video! Do you still think the 70lb suspension is the way to go for 200lb+ riders?
Is the hall sensor redundancy a firmware upgrade that could be applied to the Sherman S and Patton? 🧐
it sucks that I need to try wheels now to decide if I want them, cause pretty much nothing is makes it worth upgrading from the master well besides long range wheels
Nah not true every wheel rides different for it's own purpose. Master is a great wheel but the battery dies pretty quick if you riding 35 plus but it's a fun racing wheel none the less.
How would you compare the Lynx with the Sherman S in terms of range? What are your experiences?
Could we see a Patton 2.0 made from the lighter magnesium alloy like the new Lynx?! 💡
The Lynx, a 20 inch wheel, weighs the same as its predecessor, the Patton, a 16 inch wheel, thanks to the use of magnesium alloy.
How much would the Patton weigh if renewed with the lighter material? It seems like a logical upgrade that would increase the desirability, especially for city use.
And then while they're at it, include a smart BMS
In regards to the Power Efficiency:
1. The display shows phase line amps and not battery amps.
2. I do realize that to make that claim I do need more data to back this up, as there are many factors, so I’ll update when Leaperkim provides proper data.
Regardless, the machine has to send less amps through those wires to achieve the same results. Cheers!
I heard a LOT off rattling on your trail and jumping footage. Can the shocks be adjusted to help minimize rattle/bottoming out?
that’s the pole inside the handlebar
You can adjust the shocks to minimize but it won’t prevent, bottoming out is inevitable in almost every suspension even in mtb
im 372 pounds n 6'1 feet , which euc do you recomend for a heavy person???
Just bought a Lynx. Was just wondering how much you weigh and how do you feel about the 70lbs suspension?
How are these so fast when an older wheel like the s22 pro has a 4000 watt motor? The battery?
cant wait for my unit landed here
Thumbs up just for the gratitude
I have a curious question when you pick up and do a free spin What are the numbers normal versus high-speed mode? I’m trying to figure out if there’s something wrong with my new Wheel
With the latest firmware the free spin in HS mode is 135kmh
@@official.electricdreams what about in normal mode?
Is this 50e version? Have you tried 50s version and compare to see the difference, Jack?
I just got my 50S version!
@@official.electricdreams can't wait for comparison,Jack :)
Whay is the weight limit for using this euc.
