Straight pipe, downpipe 63.5mm with small resonator at the end and double 63.5mm tips
Interesting. All bimmer straight6 diesels sound pretty much the same (awesome), including the older stuff like M51D25 (which I own), but this for some reason sounds almost exaclty like 1JZ-GTE VVTI (which I also own) except it revs way lower of course..
Looking at the exhaust pictures there is really nothing that would explain the sound so I wonder if that split to 2 pipes on the end have that much of an effect.... It's border line rasp even, which is nearly impossible to get on diesels (luckily) but this kind of "rasp" is the only one I like to hear and would like to achieve.

Hi man, what kind of rezonator it is? What length? I did straight pipe for my 330d 135kw yesterday. 63mm with downpipe but it does not sound good like yours. Aciu.
I have stage 1 and downpipe, gonna make 63,5mm solo tube & split to 2 at the end just like you, shall i do something else for it to sound good or it is enough and will already sound good enough ?

Downpipe?
Downpipe makes a lot of difference in sound. If there is one narrow tube like 2.5 inch or 2 inch then it sounds a bit mire harsher. But 2 inches are a bit to small of diameter
what is the difference with the resonator?

Man vajag zināt cik tu materiālos iztērēju apmēram pārējo pats var sataisīt
Nu man ir downpipe uztaisits, kas loti daudz ko maina. Skana daudz citadaka un skalaka. Un talak iet taisna izplude (63.5mm) un gala vnk mazs bundulits (resenator) un divi (63.5mm gali ). Apskati nevar ar tadu iziet, jo parak skals. Naksies likt klusinataju gala kautkadu.
Efekts tev bus sa vai ta, ja tev bus taisna izplude. Bet ja tev ir vell downpipe taisns tad tas ar palidz. Katrs mazumins saskaitas.
Pats netaisiju izpludi no 0. Atradu yt vienu cilveku un kautka izdevas ar vinu sazinaties un nopirkt no vina izpludi taisnu (150eur). Velak pats liku to bunduliti un galus.
Pasam uztaisit tas sa vai ta nostajas virs 100 eur. + vel darbs. Citos kantoros man prasitu 300 eur par tadu izpludi

A cik pieļaujamais pa decibeliem tagad ?
Man liekas bija 85 DB un ar visam pieļaujajām kļūdām 90 DB. Taka 104 noteikti nelaida cauri. Nacas likt orginalo izpludi.

@@whitehite1999 Nu diemžēl tā sanāk, bet uz nakamo skati liksu kautkadu bunduli ar normaliem nerusejošā tērauda galiem, lai skate nepiesienas. Likas ka sitas variants jau bus labi. Bet nezinaju, ka vienalga 104 decibeli bus. Jo pirmstam pilnigi taisna bija vel labu gabalu skalaka

Original stock non m bumper. And the wheel brand I couldnt find, some type of replicas for style 42 or rondell 0058

Did the check engine light come on Boy installing the downpipe?
No, i dont have a dpf filter and no sensors there. I glhave the okd dyoe engine and nothing changed. No check engine lights no nothing
you need to software delete dpf egr ...
@@s7amb370 i dont have dpf. This is PFL engine. 135kw stock. Egr vacume hose was blocked off and when chipping and calibrated the egr maps where deleted if there even are any
@@barnijs730 there would have been. I have 184 e46 too with EGR blank, i get eml codes relating to the EGR. just learning how to read the ecu so i can adjust EGR tables.
@@James-jf2cl i dont have dpf filter. Thats what i ment. Egr maps (as I understand) where deleted or adjusted. Because the egr was removed.

Car is sleeping through the winter. And I cant realy put the power down on icy or snowy roads. I’ll make a acceleration video when I can. It will probably be closer to summer. In meanwhile I’ll post random updates what i do to the car. What else would you like to see ?
