🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: My name is Alyona Yarushina, or Aly. I was born in Russia, and I am a singer, a musician,
I play the piano and do many arrangements myself, I’m in love with 80s and 90s rock. In Russia, I played with several bands. One of them is the best Led Zeppelin tribute band in Russia called "Plumbum Dreams". The other one is called "Back from the USSR", where we played Beatles songs in my own arrangements. We played in Liverpool, England almost every year on the Beatles week fest. My dad, Valeriy Yarushin is my bass player in this band. He's a legend of Russian folk-rock and his band “Ariel” was most popular in the 70s and still is now. I learned a lot from him.
In 2004, I won the “International Hopes of Europe” competition in Sochi, Russia along with the “Grand Prix” prize for singing I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston.
During my career, I had the opportunity to perform with great artists such as Chick Corea, Chris Slade (AC/DC drummer), Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper guitarist), Innes Sibun (Robert Plant's guitarist), David Campbell (musical producer and arranger of Muse and Adele), Brian Tichy (drummer for Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, Ozzy Osborne), Hal Bruce and others.
I like a lot of different song styles like rock, pop and jazz. I love classic rock.Bands like Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Boston, Oasis, Jeff Buckley, Vixen, Janis Joplin, Aerosmith, Guns'n'Roses, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Winger, Skid Row, Sandy Saraya and others.
For some of my covers I do full MIDI instrumentals by myself using an M-Audio Oxygen MIDI keyboard. I also do all the back vocals & mixing and mastering by myself using Logic Pro.

I have just listened to a few videos from Alyona on RUclips today. I am 66, love good music, and have grown up and followed many of the great musicians of our time. This beautiful young lady belongs up there beside them. What a stunning voice. Don't know why l first found her today,🤔 probably as l preferred to see people live on stage where she belongs.

Sinto, mas não concordo. Cantar vai muito além da voz, tem os arranjos vocais, a respiração, a identidade com a letra e com a parte instrumental etc. Um exemplo é a música "All Wanna Do Is Make Love To You" do Robert John "Mutt" Lage, modificada e interpretada pela banda Heart. A Ann achou uma música muito fria, assim ela tentou colocar elementos de amor e delicadeza. Para muitas pessoas isso foi uma jogada acertada, porém para mim os elementos que a Ann colocou fez com que a música machucasse muito mais do que a letra original, que era apenas fria. Então para cantar é preciso muito mais do que a voz.

The rhythmic cruxes are the most essential expressions delivered here that I have heard so far regarding the feel of listening of this song by a different act than Foreigner. Many artists trying to cover this song have changed the order and identity of chords in ways highly unsatisfying to me. This version I cant complain about notes or timing. I like many of Alyona's covers and I am intending to offer some money to support more of her musical products. I would also like to support the band she performed with in Russia that she has introduced you tube videos of. Please respond to this post by explaining the most reliable ways to donate money to these artist I have sighted, I have never donated money through RUclips before. I hope it works out. Her timing and emotions are sharply represented in all of the videos I have watched. I want to see more performances like this covers as well as originals.

This song was a favorite for high school and early 20s couples cruising around town or through the country even at ones place. It had that magic that made all happy and next Monday mentioning the weekend this song was the happy moment starting in mid 1980s, also when FM was starting around the country.
