This song was recorded and then filmed in my studio. All the recording, mixing, mastering, filming, editing and uploading I do by myself.
In the liner notes of Heart's album The Road Home, Ann Wilson commented on the band's dislike for the song, stating, "Actually we had sworn off it because it kind of stood for everything we wanted to get away from. It was a song by "Mutt" Lange, who we liked, and it was originally written for Don Henley, but there was a lot of pressure on us to do the song at the time." Ann Wilson has made a number of comments on her dislike for the song, calling the song's message "hideous" in an interview with Dan Rather. In that same interview, Ann mentions that she's surprised at how many of their fans, especially in Australia and New Zealand, want to hear the song to this day when Heart plays live (Heart does not perform it live anymore despite the requests).
🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: My name is Alyona Yarushina, or Aly. I was born in Russia, and I am a singer, a musician,
I play the piano and do many arrangements myself, I’m in love with 80s and 90s rock. In Russia, I played with several bands. One of them is the best Led Zeppelin tribute band in Russia called "Plumbum Dreams". The other one is called "Back from the USSR", where we played Beatles songs in my own arrangements. We played in Liverpool, England almost every year on the Beatles week fest. My dad, Valeriy Yarushin is my bass player in this band. He's a legend of Russian folk-rock and his band “Ariel” was most popular in the 70s and still is now. I learned a lot from him.
In 2004, I won the “International Hopes of Europe” competition in Sochi, Russia along with the “Grand Prix” prize for singing I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston.

Ann Wilson has seldom promoted or performed this song after its release, as she was unhappy with the nature of the lyrics. She has recently started singing it again but with a change of the lyrics with which she’s she’s more comfortable .
Anyone who didn’t hear it at the time hasn’t had opportunity to hear it for 30 years !
@@jaediccacairns4754 That's damn easy to believe. The vocalist has to have some massive bravery to sing a song like this with the original lyrics. Sex and making love are as natural as natural is but still things not everyone is comfortable talking about or singing a song about...
And not to mention that the last verse of the song states that the woman in the song was indeed only looking for a one night stand. That's a thing most people probably wouldn't be willing to talk about, or even sing about.
Nevertheless the song is a forevergreen classic.
