I had another recruiter from Minnesota. However, I know I shall be offered the same answer as other companies have, "Unfortunately, we have decided to proceed in another direction," or, "We have decided to accept other candidates in this matter." I know their routine because of my age of 73 - which is no impediment to my driving.
A very good company. However, I did fill out all applications needed, talked to a recruiter in Minnesota, but I was informed that the company was NOT going ahead with my application at the moment. I am fully qualified to drive for any company, very hard-working, never had an accident of any kind driving a CMV. I have not, as of one week ago, been informed of the WHY I was not hired. I wrote to the company on its site requesting a reason - not a flimsy excuse - since I was NOT offered any reason for its decision. With the shortage of driver (more so good ones as I am), I fail to understand NOT being hired. I have turned down many offers to drive for many companies waiting for Foodliner to hire me. Best to all.
