Cool thing was that spader fought for dembe to stay in the show, after getting to know him behind the scenes. He was supposed to be killed off during the post office siege like reds other hand picked bodyguard.
James Spader's (Red) and Hisham Tawfiq's (Dembe) acting quality is out of this world, completely in another league. Their bond is one of the richest things you can take away from this great story.

I really enjoyed Reddington and Carter’s relationship. Reddington couldn’t really bully Carter or manipulate him like others because Carter was so carefree and quirky. He even had to wait at the dmv to talk to him. But Carter always came through. I’ll miss that in the show.
Ahh, so I'm not the only one who finds Liz Keen annoying. And now they're trying to turn her into the good girl gone bad in such a cheesey way. Her character is sooo flat compared to literally everyone else on the show. And the actress that plays her has about 3 facial expressions.
My son can't stand her and says that every time he watches the show he just tells himself, be prepared she's either getting kidnapped or ruining the series. I'm neutral I have no opinion on her whatsoever.

Bull’s eye on Aram. Weak storyline (Field agent? Please ...) after Samar left. Task Force has become a farce. Cooper, Mr Principle, is anything-goes with Keen; formerly kickbutt Dressler now gullible Keen’s toy. Park has potential, but she’s a tertiary character. They need a couple of Toms and one Samar, but all about Peabrain Lizzie now. Blow her up Red!
Either she learns to appreciate Reddington for all the times he saved her life and covered her poor decisions or let her go! Tired of her ingratitude!!!
Honestly I miss all the characters that were removed or the actors that died. They played relatable, hilarious or just brilliant characters and grew on you so quickly.
Oh, and living teo lives... the other is he is a doctor in New York eith another family. It sounds corny, but this does happen in real life. Thats why his Character on New Amsterdam was having marital trouble.
Actually I miss Tom the most, there was just so many possibilities for his character but they had him go against Red like he was the new boyfriend brought home by the daughter and the father disapproves. I have followed James Spader since the movie Jack's back, check it out if you can it's wonderful and handsome as ever. I always felt he was underrated by the industry, as I did John Cusack.
I think they need to find a way to bring Mr. Kaplan back as Red back up and bring Buz back as Red bodyguard and have them both in two different Island to recover and now need to come back help Red, but Mr. Kaplan don't need to come as Red enemy but a true friend regarded the mixed uo.
Originally Mr. Kaplan was killed off because Susan Blommaert decided to retire and she wanted a big ending to her character and career. Since then she's done 2 or 3 episodes for other shows. But those could have already been filmed or contracts previously signed to appear.
Yeah, I watched it. The one thing that is wrong here though is he didn't die on the show and the spin-off created. He gets a text from someone claiming to be his father and Liz tells him to pursue it. When the spin-off doesn't work out, he returns to Blacklist. Then he dies for the last time.
You never can tell. Maybe do a cross-over episode where the task force chases a lister that ends up in New Amsterdam. Liz sees him and thinks it's Tom and maybe it really is and he's been a doctor and an operative this whole time. The Tom that Red killed was a body double or something.
I miss Berlin. He was one of those tragic characters that really brought light to the story and Red. And I will miss Brian and Clark. I was first introduced to Brian in Never Cry Wolf. And Clark as that annoying person who caused Red's blood pressure to escalate made me laugh with joy. But the story goes on, we will miss them, but hopefully others will step in to cause havoc for Red.
I am almost entirely convinced that this show will end with a two parter. The second to last episode will be "Number 2: Elizabeth Keen" and the final episode will be "Number 1: Raymond Reddington" You can put the pieces together from there
Rest in peace to characters who passed away in 2020 in real life one of them being the funny Clark Middleton(Glen). It has been a difficult time for us at Blacklist.
I miss Brian Dennehy the most. I saw him in a one-man play in San Francisco and I was able to talk to him after the performance. He was so nice and personable and he recommended a restaurant down the street he frequented during his stage performance. He said if they were booked, just tell them Brian sent you. And that is what happened...they were booked and when we told them Brian Dennehy sent us we were taken to a private table in the back. My twin sister and I were celebrating our 50th birthday and Brian Dennehy was one of my favorite actors.
I missSamar the most she should come back! Good riddance Tom Keen! Gonna miss Dom and Glenn May their souls Rest In Peace! The two characters I would like back is Samar and Mr Kaplan, but only if she is more Reddington friendly! If you are against Raymond you are against me
The actor Ryan Eggold was good no doubt but he continually put Liz in danger! His sole purpose seemed to prove to her that Reddington was no good liar who meant her harm! He Red was an intense criminal who saved Liz’s life so many times I list count!! And mostly she needed saving from Tom Personally and also from his exploits that always endangers them both and the baby!!!

Before Liz even knew about Reddington she was blissfully unaware about Tom's secret life (which btw was Reddington's idea to have Tom enter liz's life). I'm not denying that Red hasn't saved her life multiple times but you also gotta be aware that once red entered liz's life she has been in danger more so than when he wasn't in her life. And because of reds secrets and lies Tom was killed and Mr Kaplan killed herself trying to warn Liz about who red actually is. I have nothing against red I love him as a character and hes awesome but to say good riddance Tom keen is just a bit close minded. Tom was an amazing character that had a lot of depth and was interesting same with red.

Reddington didn’t bring the danger in her life she was always gonna be in danger because of who her mother was When Tom crosses the line Red was forced to turn himself into the FBI so he could be closer to her to protect her for all the danger that she was already gonna be in #1 and biggest was the Kabal Which included heads of the CIA, FBI Russia etc. one by one they came and one by one they defeated them!! Trust me I can repeat the stories verse and chapter having watch every episode at leaf 10 times and counting!! How many times did he save Tom’s life even while Tom was trying his best to defeat him and get him away from Liz!! Even knowing what Tom was ultimately about, when Liz got her ass in even deeper trouble Red spared no expense to drag Tom back into her life to help get her exonerated Liz didn’t shoot the AG because of Reddington You guys have missed so many clues!! You all need a good dose of reruns on Netflix Liz and Reddington are way more connected than you think His back is completely burned because he was the one in that fire that Liz started when she was a little girl Start thete
I feel like the writers don't know how to write women and they end up with stupid story lines that only Red and other men are important, if you write in a women as a protagonist then you have to honor that and do a decent story line that includes her, but i feel like everything is about Red all the time, and it's a shame because Liz has a lot of potential.

I miss every character. Each added a dimension to the show that was unique and made the show so interesting. And, not one can be replaced. Great memories of each though.
For real man, judging from all the comments, i am literally the only who didn‘t like her. As a cleaner? - I prefer these asian siblings. As Liz‘ nanny? Red is already doing that and he is way more badass. As a link to the Rostova family? They already wasted too much time on that backstory, I couldn‘t care less. So yeah, I am happy that they finally got rid off her.
Samar Navabi was my fave character, keeping her with Aram would've softened her character should she have stayed with the show. She was too strong and driven to be loved up with Aram, he was a wimp 😡 She was bad ass, beautiful and had the sexiest voice. She should've been given a spin off series exploring her Massad connection and what she did previously with them. That would've been a good avenue to explore but she chose to leave the show and the producers never killed her off leaving the door open for a return should she choose to. IF the Blacklist was to get cancelled I think Navabi would turn up to tie up loose ends with wimpy Aram by telling him he was crap in bed and that's why she really left. That would be brill then I could at least resume my mega crush on her. I ❤️ you Samar 🤗
If I had to pick one it is Samar, her exit was just painful in the storyline for all characters and especially Aram! Red took a punch for it understanding the whole thing! I hope this show just spins off forever!
Elizabeth and Tom keen were the most annoying characters in the show. I was shocked when Elizabeth died for a bit but was glad she was out of the loop. She's such a backstabbing ungrateful brat in the show. That just means the show is that good that it makes u dislike characters that much. Its the best TV series I've ever watched

Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blomert) the actress was first noticed by myself playing a character in 1 of the X-files episodes where she was actually a demon and could shapeshift into a snake to take out an undesirable nemesis involved in a school plot from some small town community. Can't remember the name of the episode or what season it was, just that's the first time I'd ever seen her unique look and talent. She's very good at carrying off those villain roles.

I miss all the characters that have come and gone, who have sadly passed away. Each of them brought something special and unique with their presence. But like real life, everything changes, never ever stays the same. I'm very happy however the show has been picked up for a 9th season. ❤⚘❤⚘
For me, I really missed Mr. Kaplan. Her character was interesting. I thought at first that her name was just quirky, but how wrong I was. It was really painful for me to see her try to ruin Red, and to see Red actively try to kill her. It was very heartbreaking when she died. I have stopped watching the series now. I stopped when Elizabeth and her sister started working together. I just couldn’t stand seeing both of them. I really loved first few seasons when they catched all those weird criminals.
I miss Tom keen the most from the show...how dear he leaves Liz to raise Agnes alone. I'm so pissed that Tom is really gone...I love his character and how he proceeds through the show!!!!👌🏽

Rest in peace to characters who passed away in 2020 in real life one of them being the funny Clark Middleton(Glen). It has been a difficult time for us at Blacklist.

I miss Brian Dennehy the most. I saw him in a one-man play in San Francisco and I was able to talk to him after the performance. He was so nice and personable and he recommended a restaurant down the street he frequented during his stage performance. He said if they were booked, just tell them Brian sent you. And that is what happened...they were booked and when we told them Brian Dennehy sent us we were taken to a private table in the back. My twin sister and I were celebrating our 50th birthday and Brian Dennehy was one of my favorite actors.

Tom keen was one of the best characters to ever be on the show
The actor Ryan Eggold was good no doubt but he continually put Liz in danger! His sole purpose seemed to prove to her that Reddington was no good liar who meant her harm!
He Red was an intense criminal who saved Liz’s life so many times I list count!! And mostly she needed saving from Tom
Personally and also from his exploits that always endangers them both and the baby!!!

Before Liz even knew about Reddington she was blissfully unaware about Tom's secret life (which btw was Reddington's idea to have Tom enter liz's life). Reddington has turned her life upside down has put her in danger multiple times just for her connection to him.. I'm not denying that Red hasn't saved her life multiple times but you also gotta be aware that once red entered liz's life she has been in danger more so than when he wasn't in her life. And because of reds secrets and lies Tom was killed and Mr Kaplan killed herself trying to warn Liz about who red actually is. I have nothing against red I love him as a character and hes awesome but to say good riddance Tom keen is just a bit close minded. Tom was an amazing character that had a lot of depth and was interesting same with red.

Reddington sent Tom into Liz life to protect her up close from what he knew was coming
However Tom was a double agent he double crossed Red and his handler both when he married her knowing he was not who he was pretending to be!!
Reddington didn’t bring the danger in her life she was always gonna be in danger because of who her mother was
When Tom crosses the line Red was forced to turn himself into the FBI so he could be closer to her to protect her for all the danger that she was already gonna be in

Which included heads of the CIA, FBI Russia etc. one by one they came and one by one they defeated them!!
Trust me I can repeat the stories verse and chapter having watch every episode at leaf 10 times and counting!!
How many times did he save Tom’s life even while Tom was trying his best to defeat him and get him away from Liz!!
Even knowing what Tom was ultimately about, when Liz got her ass in even deeper trouble Red spared no expense to drag Tom back into her life to help get her exonerated

I feel like the writers don't know how to write women and they end up with stupid story lines that only Red and other men are important, if you write in a women as a protagonist then you have to honor that and do a decent story line that includes her, but i feel like everything is about Red all the time, and it's a shame because Liz has a lot of potential.
@@minaharker6641 Liz has potential, but the show started about her and Red's relationship. To me, once they told us he isn't her father, I thought it lost something. I would have much rather it kept the is he or isn't he aspect.
They should have kept the Blacklist redemption show going with Tom
I miss every character. Each added a dimension to the show that was unique and made the show so interesting. And, not one can be replaced. Great memories of each though.
I stopped watching when Mr. Kaplan jumped off the bridge. She was the most interesting person on the show besides Red.

Samar Navabi was my fave character, keeping her with Aram would've softened her character should she have stayed with the show. She was too strong and driven to be loved up with Aram, he was a wimp 😡
She was bad ass, beautiful and had the sexiest voice. She should've been given a spin off series exploring her Massad connection and what she did previously with them.
That would've been a good avenue to explore but she chose to leave the show and the producers never killed her off leaving the door open for a return should she choose to.
IF the Blacklist was to get cancelled I think Navabi would turn up to tie up loose ends with wimpy Aram by telling him he was crap in bed and that's why she really left.
That would be brill then I could at least resume my mega crush on her. I ❤️ you Samar 🤗
If I had to pick one it is Samar, her exit was just painful in the storyline for all characters and especially Aram! Red took a punch for it understanding the whole thing! I hope this show just spins off forever!

Elizabeth and Tom keen were the most annoying characters in the show. I was shocked when Elizabeth died for a bit but was glad she was out of the loop. She's such a backstabbing ungrateful brat in the show. That just means the show is that good that it makes u dislike characters that much. Its the best TV series I've ever watched
I agree. And it was like tom became more idiotic while being with her. I only wish they had given a episode of answers why and how the tom guy was kidnapped ad a baby.
Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blomert) the actress was first noticed by myself playing a character in 1 of the X-files episodes where she was actually a demon and could shapeshift into a snake to take out an undesirable nemesis involved in a school plot from some small town community. Can't remember the name of the episode or what season it was, just that's the first time I'd ever seen her unique look and talent. She's very good at carrying off those villain roles.

I love all the actors!! My favorite TV show ever.
I miss all the characters that have come and gone, who have sadly passed away. Each of them brought something special and unique with their presence. But like real life, everything changes, never ever stays the same. I'm very happy however the show has been picked up for a 9th season.

For me, I really missed Mr. Kaplan. Her character was interesting. I thought at first that her name was just quirky, but how wrong I was. It was really painful for me to see her try to ruin Red, and to see Red actively try to kill her. It was very heartbreaking when she died. I have stopped watching the series now. I stopped when Elizabeth and her sister started working together. I just couldn’t stand seeing both of them. I really loved first few seasons when they catched all those weird criminals.
I miss Tom so much it hurts😂😩 and I’m going to miss glen SO. MUCH. I loved his character
