What makes this better is the fact their characters are usually based off real people who actually did the horrific things these people act like they did. I mean I would love to talk to Ted Bundy but I know for certain if I walk home with him I wouldn’t walk back.
The little idiosyncrasies that James puts into the character are *fabulous!* I am especially in love with how he always is nibbling on some sort of foodstuff, or finding a random dog somewhere! Truly one of the greatest characters on television.

He has the best torture scenes even when he himself gets tortured haha and that scene where he tells Lizzy not to look and then tells her anyway to look and exactly what to look at 😂

It's that kind of talent that really makes me enjoy a show. It's why I loved White Collar so much too. Matt Bomer and Willie Garson were brilliant at their roles and their chemistry together.

Seriously, Raymond Reddington's self-awareness, his intransigent sense of morality, and his joie de vie in the face of unrelenting darkness makes him fascinating to his enemies, friends, and anyone lucky enough or cursed enough to find themself in his presence.
