Why take the EPB off if you put it in service mode or why put it in service mode if you take the EPB off? Just so you know, if you work on a vehicle that has an EPB which you can not retract via vehicle DIC, you can manually retract them by taking off the EPB and turned the screw on the back of the caliper.

No need to remove the parking brake and the front cover. Other than that, good job.

What size bolts are on the caliper? 7mm?
7mm hex. Bracket, which only needs to be removed when changing discs, is E18.
