if you get the Rtx one at the price of 1650 then it's a bang for your buck. I am using the Rtx 2050 70-watt variant and not facing any problem whatsoever. This GPU is capable enough to run Remnant 2 in high settings at 60+ fps in balanced mode and 70 fps in performance mode. I also play Far Cry 6 in ultra (FSR in ultra quality) and the framerate is stable at 55 to 65 fps. It is a very good budget-friendly GPU.

I just ordered a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 for $499 gaming laptop with the same GPU. I can tell you it’s very very good just as good as a 3050. So don’t pay more money for some thing like a MSI G63 Lenovo is far superior, especially when it comes to cooling. 😊🎉

It's due to 4gb VRam and 8GB single channel RAM wasn't even good in 2013 sooo....... Yeah get another 8GB ram stick but remember that your GPU is also very weak and won't be sufficient in two years for anything
Not sure what size you’re talking about offhand, but I just ordered the 2tb 17” with the 2050, and 32gb of ram… the site says 3.16lbs versus 2.98lbs without the card. That’s a very small difference so it was worth it to me to get the version with the GPU. Oh, this model also comes with a larger battery (90wh instead of 80wh), so that’s probably some of the weight as well I would think.

I just got my LG Gram today and have been setting it up (typing this on it actually). It's awesome so far! This is so nice... although I haven't actually done much with it yet, but I think it will work out great for what I purchased it for (software/web development, and general use). This was an extra good deal (in my opinion) because it came with a free (due to a promotion) 16" external monitor that's basically a tablet that you plug in via thunderport. It's got the same 2560x1600 resolution, and normally costs $350, so this was a great deal (and the monitor seems awesome so far). I think the monitor is like 1lb, so carrying around both is still half the weight of my old laptop lol.

Rtx 2050 is same chip as rtx 3050 but memory bus downgrade far to 64bit make it perform worst than gtx1650. Play at 1080 and 1440p gtx 1650 still perform better. Only at 4k dlss on rtx2050 will outperform gtx1650 by 21%~. If you connect your laptop to 4k monitor, but at that point better get a PC since it wont be portable anymore
Nope, in 1650 you cannot get playable FPS in FarCry 6 in ultra, whereas RTX 2050 70 watt can play it at 60 fps. The same goes for other titles. DLSS is a game changer in most AAA titles nowadays because devs are just lazy enough to optimize their games well.
