She’s not contradicting herself… the reality is he was around but because of her parents divorcing and then seeing her sister Lauren deal with the coparenting optic… she never got to truly see her dad court her mom so therefore when it came to love and things surrounding that she didn’t have a male figure to go to when the time was right
