Hearing in detail how Greg had to come to peace with his own death sent chills down my spine. I don’t know how people with terminal illnesses spend their last months knowing ahead of time waiting for their time to go. Wishing good health upon everyone reading this.

That's exactly what happened to my dad. He passed from stage 4 colon cancer September 2020. He prepared himself and accepted that he was going to go so he set myself and all my siblings down, he had to be strong and spoke to us before he passed. He told us everything we needed to here to keep us strong and be ready for his passing. He also assured us that he was going to heaven as he already was seeing Jesus waiting for him. So before he passed on that faithful night, he set and prayed and when he laid down to sleep, he went peacefully so yeah that gave us the peace we needed to move on❤️❤️❤️❤️

@H Macklemore yes, I am. And because I do not know Nene or any of the Real Housewives personally, I do not battle over the merit of my opinion of a TV show that I view from one week to the next. I think Nene and Greg showed how love perseveres in the midst of hardship, tragedy, and death. AND the most honorable thing Mrs. Nene Leakes can do is to continue to honor her husband by keeping her family and his family connected. Personally, I hope she will venture out from RHWOA because she is no longer on that level. You can't walk your husband to the grave and live being concerned with fame and fortune or the approval of an audience that really can't know you. THAT PART!
While I understand the comments about it being too soon for her to date, Nene is a wife. By that I mean she has lived most of her life with Gregg as her companion and confidant. She has been married longer than she was single. While no one can ever fill Gregg's shoes, she doesn't have to spend the rest of her life grieving and being single. Her friends introducing her to men and her going out on dates is not about replacing Gregg but helping her to not feel alone, she has lived a long life with "her person" and now she doesn't have him anymore. There is no time limit for when its right to date again, it is all up to Nene. Nene knows the right time and will know the right person again who gets to share a part of her life.
My thoughts exactly. For most people they need to be distracted. If Nene stayed single for a long period it would likely put her in a bad place. Dating and being with friends will distract her and with what she is dealing with I don't blame her and it is a logical thing to do. Do what you need to do so you can heal. No one is going to heal Nene but God and her.

My grandfather passed in 1994, my great grandmother in 1999, my daddy in 2002, my grandmother in 2004, my mom in 2017, my aunt & 2 uncles & a cousin in 2018, another aunt in 2020...my heart is still broken from 1994. They were my spine, my reason for being, my joy in this life. You never get over it. God's grace carry me through each day. Every day is different. Grief is like a rollercoaster & anyone that dares speak against someone grieving is just low class. Prayers for NeNe & all who grieve. I am well acquainted with the pain associated with grief.

Yes indeed we all need our parents no matter how old we are, when they told me my daughter was dead at 17yr old on june7,22, the first thing I cried out and called was my mom who had been passed 18 years ago, but I needed her n calling her name eased sum pain.

My mom battled this disease for 3years and gained her wings in 2020.. You can never be prepare for that moment; nor can you make peace with it. Widowhood is awful. A childhood friend of mine died this Spring at 30 leaving behind two children. To see her widower going through the grieving process at the ripe age of 32 was harrowing. And having been acquainted to this woman and her family ever since kindergarten crushed me.

Initially I asked the same thing. I know & wear make-up & this "highlight" is not blended very well. One should not look like an elf with a nose that can shred paper. Otherwise, she looks stunning.

This is such a beautiful conversation. Its very emotional though, got me sooo teary for Nene, to lose such an amazing husband, its gonna be difficult to progress esp after having such a good person in your life. I wish her the best for her future, especially emotionally.
