She was fine when she first came out, then the Motherhood questions started almost out the gate by all of them, so yes of course she got emotional and I’m sure quite annoyed as well. Why do people care if she procreates or not? Such a weird question to keep asking a child free woman. Why don’t people ask mothers why they chose to have kids?

Kids are a real job. So I’m happy that a lot of these women are taking it seriously. Career over children is better than having children and putting the career over them. We have enough grown kids in the world.

I think most who chose not to have children have regrets. MOST of my friends have....secretly. Especially when they face the reality of these males out here. The gag is most realize they could always get money at any time, but having children NATURALLY has a time limit! The feminist movement bamboozled a lot of females.

I love me some Vivica. She seems like good people. It touched my heart when she got emotional when they were talking about kids and she said that was the one regret. I am a 36-year-old woman and I've had horrible luck with dating but I do want children and I pray that I will have at least one.

Some women want marriage but have not had luck with finding faithfulness and family in a man. Some women have been hurt and cheated on and mistreated and betrayed. Only God knows Vivica not us. Let's give her a break. She's beautiful and blessed. I pray she gets everything she wants out of life.
It's all about path taken and path not taken. People decide to take paths and some regret it and some don't. Just don't go selling a dream to other women. The truth is, you must decide what you want and look into yourself deeply and not make haste decisions out of depression, desperation, trauma and fear. And you have to be aware that there is a time where paths cannot be walked back and that consequences must be accepted.

Don't pick a loser to have a baby with but definitely be proactive or at least go to a Fertility clinic and freeze your eggs. This is information I wished someone had told me.

I really wish people would get with the times like Vivica said and stop trying to push this narrative about having kids. I feel that if she really wanted kids, she would have had them already, regardless. I think the regret she might be feeling here is due to the comments and questions about it, almost implying like she’s “missing/missed out” on that. But I believe she never wanted children and prefers to occupy her time with her career and travelling. Nothing at all wrong with that. Can we just let ppl live their life without questions or judgement? Also, Garcelle’s comment about who is she going to leave her legacy to, was very cringe and IMO very unnecessary comment. I salute Vivica for living her life on her own terms. She looks fantastic and very happy. :-)
There’s a lot of truth in what you’re saying. I’ve known and vocalized it at 9 years old that I do not want children ... as I’ve grown older I’ve only grown more resolve in my stance. When people keep asking, pushing the whole Kodak moments of having kids, I get a fleeting feeling of maybe I should have them to experience those joys, but I quickly go back to my stance. People assume childfree people or people that just never got around to having kids but wanted them are oblivious to the joys we are foregoing when we make the choice to not have kids. Most of us are very aware of what we’re “giving up” but the “cons” in our minds far outweigh the joys, even though the joys are exceptionally deep.
@@LifeofBliss25 exactly! same here. When you know, you just know it's not for you and it doesn't make you selfish or that you hate kids. There are too many broken people out here having kids to fill some void in their life and when you have kids for those reasons, doesn't bode well. I chose to be responsible and self aware when making the biggest life decision, and I too decided when I was in my teens that I never wanted. But as usual, family and friends were convinced I would change my mind as I got older, but didn't happen. Have been with my man for 13 years now and when we met, we both were upfront about not wanting children we are still happy and strong as ever today with zero regrets. We have a dog instead. Kids put a big strain/stress on a relationship and marriage, I've seen it too many times and it's sad. I say, live and let live.
I also felt Garcelle's comment wa very cringe worthy! Vivica's legacy will be her hard work and the way she has inspired millions of women. I'm watching yet another tribute to the late Betty White as we speak who also didn't have any biological children but clearly lived a great life!
