Chernobyl Tour from Kyiv (not Kiev!}

- Visiting Chernobyl and the abandoned town of Pripyat on a tour from Kiev is an essential thing to do while in Ukraine: reactor number 4, the fairground and swimming pool key sites.
But a visit to Palata No 6 Bar in Kiev / Kyiv afterwards held a lot more risk than the site of world's worst nuclear accident.

Is it worth the visit
Absolutely. It is a fascinating place to see, both as a reminder of the impact of the accident, and of the Soviet era and the way of life under it. Kyiv is a beautiful city too.

hey bro i know im little late but, can i get a guide like where do i go when i land on kyiv airport, like what trasnportation do i have to take to go to nearest route to chernobyl, i mean i go there illegally
AHMAD ON MARS hi, I just took an Uber into the city centre - v cheap - and stayed in Kiev Inn, near to Maidan Square. I did an organised tour to Chernobyl. There are checkpoints at the two perimeters so I don’t know of unofficial routes, unless you go cross country??
