Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl..... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Brian, thanks for sharing your knowledge on the Bahamian flag. I guess I knew the information about why cruiselines use other countries. However I always thought that they flew the official country flag. After researching more, I now understand about the Flag of Convenience. I will certainly impress friends on future cruises. Glad you like it! Well our first cruise together was after lockdown so I guess we didn’t know what we were missing. I did introduce Kerry to cruise vlogs during that time, so we watched a ton of them
After watching your pig excursion I absolutely won’t be doing it lol 😂 I’ve done the waterpark and snorkeling and I’m sticking with those they were a blast.

The private island thing is true. I was on Carnival back in March and when they where at their own island the casino and shops where open.
Wow, my wife and I went to Starbucks on our first date, along with other stuff. Our second date was at Disneyland. We were on Storybook Land ride, which stopped, and we watched the fireworks from the boats. That locked it in.

What do you do with the camera if you can’t take it down and both of you go down the slide?

this is a really good question, and we honestly can’t remember if there were bathrooms in the waiting/orientation area

We usually put it in between the minimum and the halfway. Once we won with a minimum bid, and we once lost with a pretty good bid near the right side of the scale. So it seems like you need to be lucky to win it
