I was on this same sailing celebrating my birthday!! I had an interior promenade view room as well. My room was right next to the big red dog. Sad I missed that duck! Looking forward to your other videos.
Thank You! I really appreciate it and I hope you have a great time! It was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and I loved it. There was so much entertainment that the 4 days went too fast.
Great video! I’ll be on Independence in Nov ‘24!! I’m so excited, it will be my first cruise and I’m trying to be like that lady in your video, CHILLAXING😂!!!
Hahaha! I hope you enjoy yourself. I loved the ship so much, I've decided to try out a few more less expensive Royal Caribbean Ships. Have a great time!
Finally! I've been waiting for you to post another cruise ship vlog for a while 😅. I just got done watching this one and I look forward to watching the rest of them too 👍🏾🙌🏾. Also, I have never been on a cruise before but because of you, I look forward to going on one 🛳️.
Thank you for your service! Great review. We are sailing on IOS in July. Our cabin is on deck 8 with a Promenade View, as well. I was wondering how the noise was late at night? Thanks!
To be honest, I didn't hear anything at night. I'm even a light sleeper and I had no issues. I did leave the blinds open a bit for a nightlight but no issues with noise.
May 23rd - 27th was the dates for this cruise. The evening stroll through the marketplace and getting pizza after the bar closed where the only times I really noticed the crowds. If you are a drinker, there are bars in great locations and enough that getting a drink was never a very long wait, unlike my last cruise on the Carnival Mardi Gras. To me, that cruise was crowded.
Thanks for video, my sister in law is going in 2 weeks she is excited!! Did you notice if they still showing GREASE as broadway show. How do you like Royal compared to Carnival...You said your 1st time on Royal?
They are still showing Grease, at least when I went in May. I really liked Royal's ship layout, food, and different entertainment (Ice show, Broadway, dance show, etc), however, I like how the Carnival cruise directors are more involved and Carnival always seems like there is a party going on somewhere. I have a couple more Royal Caribbean cruises coming up so I am excited to go on their Oasis ships.
Nice! I cruised into 50 on the same cruise!! My first RCL and I had a blast!!! My husband found a service Duck which was really cool! How about we had the same muster station!!! I was in 8582 Balcony room
That is awesome! It was my first time on RCL too and I loved the layout of the ship and all the entertainment. I hid about 50 of the service ducks on the cruise, what are the odds it was one of mine?

Thanks! I love the interior promenade view rooms. I wish Carnival had rooms like these.
Happy Belated my Gemini twin!!!
Thank you 😊 this is so helpful I sail out in two weeks and this is my first cruise super excited
Have fun! Independence of the Seas is a great ship. You'll have to let me know if you liked it.
Mike you just seem like a great nice guy. I'm going on the independence in October and I appreciate this video. You got a new follower.

Thank you for your service 🇺🇸
You are welcome.

I really appreciate it! Cruising is awesome and such a fun time. Do you have a cruise planned already?
@@HangingOutWithMike No, not yet but I want my first one to be a Mediterranean cruise 🇲🇹. It's been a dream of mine for years.

Hey Mike thanks for video. That ship looks packed! What was your sail date? Will be sailing on IOS September 16th so this was great intro for it.

“I hope that lady’s not dead” hahahaha. I mean, there are worse ways to die.
We sail on Indy for the first time in December so appreciated your video
Hahaha. Have fun! It's a great ship and wish I had a couple more days on it. Thanks for watching!

@@HangingOutWithMike omg it is from Mike and Rose!!!!
My Dad was Navy men so I have it with his hat!!!
I love it! I'm glad you found one.
That's cool. Tell him "Thanks for his service". I retired from the Army so of course I'll have to follow it up with "Go Army, Beat Navy!"
Thank you for your service… My son is active duty Air-force!!! Love this ship, will be on Independence of the Seas, 6/20/24.
That is awesome! Tell your son "Thank you for his service" from me. Have a fun cruise and thanks for watching!
Going on independence in August 😊 eighth cruise 🚢
Have fun! I loved the ship and made me want to go on more Royal Caribbean cruises to see their Oasis ships.
I was on that ship and never found a Duck.
I've only found 3 or 4 ducks over all my cruises. I don't think there are a lot of people who hide them.
