- Traveling to Mexico City, Ciudad de Mexico and looking for Mexico City’s best neighborhoods, Mexico City’s coolest neighborhoods, or where to stay in Mexico City? Colonia Roma and La Condesa are two of the best neighborhoods in Mexico City for many reasons. Roma Mexico City and La Condesa Mexico City are both very safe, trendy and popular neighborhoods in Mexico City.
We stayed in Roma Norte Mexico City and ventured out to Condesa Mexico City many times. They both have many amazing restaurants in Mexico City, bars, cafes, galleries, shops and museums. La Condesa wins for it’s parks in Mexico City, our favorite being Parque Mexico! Colonia Roma and La Condesa have such a good vibe and have won us over as our favorite neighborhoods in Mexico City.. but for now since there are many other neighborhoods in Mexico City we have yet to see!
We hope you enjoy this Mexico City travel guide and that if you travel mexico you find our Mexico City vlogs to be helpful and hopefully this one helps you find where to stay in Mexico City. #mexicocity #cdmx

Just got back from Mexico City and it literally blew my mind. What a fantastic city!
It’s seriously one of, if not the best city in the world!
@@TheCountryCollectors I have seen pretty much all of the best cities and I have to agree with you, it ranks very high for sure!
ouais!
I’ve been to several of the European cities ( Amsterdam, Rome, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid), but the positive vibes and the warmed of the Mexican people put CDMX at the top for me.
Did you enjoy breathing that filthy air?
I had super high expectations and it didn’t disappoint. What a cool city. And how did we not know?
It really is so beautiful! There’s so much to do and see in this city!
@@oceandreamer4997 I went everywhere they told me not to go, obviously I was a tourist, iPhone on a selfie stick, speaking English, never did I feel unsafe. I went with two other couples and they too had heard the same, it’s unsafe. By the end of the first day, both couples were going out walking around by themselves, staying out late, no issues at all. Very international city, people from all over the world.
Mexico city has some great neighbourhoods for sure! 😁👍 I love the green spaces! 🌳Good food as always and you guys always have great places to stay! 😁 Have fun!
Thanks Kaatj! We appreciate you! It’s a really special place that absolutely blew us away. We are loving exploring and eating our way around the city! Thanks for coming along!
Always teasing us with the food. Those churros look amazing.
Ooo they were!
I really love the dogs training sessions . It's pretty cool and awesome. The Park is stunning and nature friendly. Thanks for the virtual and good presentation. Keep safe and Kind regards.
Thanks so much for experiencing it with us!

Heidi... you're on fire... again is not right twice a day but maybe once??Adam, she slammed dunk over you😀
Lol booo yahhhh
@@TheCountryCollectors hahaha yep you did
The city doesn't seem as crowded today... why is that? Location, work day?
Pretty sure it’s the location. Down in these neighborhoods it’s a bit more relaxing away from the busy city center.
Adam get new shades?
Oh no those ones are old but good for cloudy days!
My goodness, I can't believe I stayed a week in Roma Norte and I didn't see ALL this. You guys really do a fabulous job of showcasing each of the places you visit 🙌 🇲🇽
You’re the best! Thank you so much Maddie!
just got to the Ryoshi part and dang my mouth is watering....that was SO GOOD! Of course, that much more enjoyable with your guys' company 😄😄
Couldn’t agree any more with that statement! Such a fun night!

Mexico City has really surprised me, in such a wonderful way. I would have never before thought I would want to visit but after seeing these videos I can't wait to go!
Isn’t it just remarkable?!
And this is nothing, México is a bunch of countries making a world. Thanks COUNTRY COLLECTORS.
MAINSTREAM MEDIA is terribly UNFAIR to Mexico City.
I had been following travel blogs for 10 yrs before visiting, expectations were high, and I was still blown away,
Best description!❤
Mexico is so beautiful and you guys never disappoint me with your videos and i learn a lot 🥰🥰🥰 muchas gracias son parte de mi vida 😀😀😍
Thank you so much for being here!
There are so many very cool neighborhoods in Mexico City. Coyoacan is also beautiful, and Santa Fe is nice to check out as well. Great video.
Yes we will have to come back to check those ones out thank you so much!
Hi guys, I'm from Mexico City and I ask you please not to come and live here, the rent goes up when Americans arrive in Mexican neighborhoods, thanks for reading, good day
This is Paul.. and Gloria in Oaxaca.
We loved this video. We've been on a food tour in Roma, and we actually stayed in Roma Sur once, for a night.
However, we learned more on your 25 minute video than we did in anything else.
I've gotten Gloria into your videos too, and she says you two are great together.
Hi Paul and Gloria! Well thank you so much for your kind words! We appreciate you being here every Sunday! Wishing you a wonderful day.
That would be fun
Love your videos, I live in CDMX and you did a great job showing the beauty of the City
Thank you so much Ivan!! We had such a great time!
I am completely hooked on these videos. It was starting to feel like forever since the last one lol. The cinematography and scenery you capture in every video is sensational. I love all the facts and information you guys provide about all the beautiful places you visit. The food always looks so spectacular and colorful. Adam's one liners always crack me up. Heidi is so beautiful and has such a tranquil and lovely vibe that make these videos so special.
Please stay safe and I hope you guys get way more subscribers soon. This is some seriously great content deserving of a million subscribers. Cheers!🙏
You are so sweet Ralph! Thank you so much for your support - we appreciate you!

Wow you're right Mexico City is so beautiful.
It keeps on surprising us!
Such good dogs I noticed that when I was there, there were obedience schools in every park. And the amount of dogs one dog walker can take was incredible.
I know it’s crazy! I don’t know how they do it!
Good morning, another great video … the neighbourhoods are very nice … the dog parks are amazing. Food looks amazing as always. Thank you for showing us how beautiful these places are.
Good morning Tammy! Thank you so much for watching! We loved the dog parks 🐶 did you see that one dog trip that guy lol 😂 We really enjoyed these neighborhoods they are so beautiful! Wishing you a wonderful day!
Wow! What a beautiful city! Love the park with the hanging chairs and music! The street food, the well behaved dogs etc. This city wasn’t even on my radar but wow I’ve changed my mind! And it looks and sounds pretty safe? Thankyou so much for a fun video!
Oh yeah it’s absolutely wonderful!
another gorgeous and professional video! Thank you! Adam by far is the best at dad jokes. He really is like no other!
Haha 😂 you can take him off my hands for a bit! Thanks for watching!
Great video. Mexico City is one of our favorites as well! And the Lucha Libre ending was Hilarious! 😂
Haha 😂 we’re glad you enjoyed it!
We need to send Adam on a Mexico City street-food mission. Will he accept this 'Mission Impossible' mission? One great street-food area is the Metro 'Revolución'. It's a (nearly) solid block of 24/7 street-food -- which changes vendors four/five times a day. And try the morning drink 'atole' (maíz or chocolate), it will make nice memories of Mexico City (which I think has the best street-food in Mexico).
Haha ooo yes he should do that!! Thanks so much.
@@TheCountryCollectors With such a video, I hope you could help destroy the 'street-food-is-dangerous' myth.
Dangerous for your waistline!
4:40 its called La CASA DE LAS BRUJAS because overthere it used to live a "chamana" called Pachita (take a look on that story) actually Jacobo Grinberg and Alejandro Jodorowsky (he also lived overthere during the 70s) worked with her
Oh wow! That’s really interesting thank you so much for sharing that.

Seems they missed.
We love Mexico City-it’s the only place in Mexico my husband has been and he wants to live there! We always stay in Condesa and we did a wonderful food tour called Eat Like a Local. You can find anything in Mexico City and there are so many green spaces.
It’s such a wonderful city!
If you're still in CDMX try going to the coolest library you have seen, "Bibiioteca Vasconsuelo"👌👍
Ooo we will thank you so much!

Yes, just like the CDMX post office, The library will blow your mind.
Muchas gracias Isus! That would be so cool!
La ciudad ahora esta muy sucia. Huele mucho laa alcantarillaa y hay grafitis por todo lado.
Mexico City is one of the best cities in the world.
We agree!
My retirement city
I’ve been to a few of the major cities in the Americas and Europe and yes, CDMX is my favorite by far.

Hello Heidi and Adam. Looking forward to today's Mexico City vlog.
We hope you enjoy it!
As always, I loved your video. I recommend that you visit the San Ángel neighborhood and its Saturday bazaar. It is a town within the City. Greetings.
Oh that sounds wonderful thank you so much!
Please don't discriminate my beautiful Polanco, it has great spots, you should try Museo Soumaya, Parque Lincoln, San Agustin, Acuario, Polanquito, Palacio de Hierro, and many others
I’m sorry - we didn’t think we were discriminating Polanco, it’s a beautiful area with a lot to offer.
You two crack me up the ending was awesome. Another wonderful video!!
Haha 😂 we had a lot of fun with that!
Love all of the dog parks, it really is a city for dog lovers wow.
Everywhere you turn there’s more! It’s so cool.
Another great trip you presented to us. Mexico city looks amazing and I want to visit it one day. I also liked the catcher fight at the end of the video. Keep up the good work my friends. Have a good day
Thank you so much! We’re so glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, I love those parks. If you are still in the city, I recommend el desierto de los leones. There is an old convent in the middle of the woods. It's about 15 minutes from Santa Fe. People go there for biking, walking or having picnics. It's a place for families.
Oh wow that sounds incredible thank you so much!
I like the witches house that was cute, and of course the dogs!
I loved her hat too!
Lucha Libre was the perfect ending to another great video. Thanks Heidi and Adam. See you next week!
It’s our pleasure- see you next Sunday have a great week.
Excelente video muy bien relatado y explicado

You dont want to miss the richest neighborhood there. All the high buildings. Super clean there
Loma and Pedegral?
Lovely neighborhood 😍❤️

Yet another fantastic video. Having lived in Lakeside for two years and Chelem for a couple of months but being forced back to Canada I really miss Mexico. The people. The culture. The festivals. The parades. The murals. The music. The history. The weather. Now I live vicariously through you guys. Such a treat. Over the years I've watched a lot of different vloggers about Mexico but you guys are the most enjoyable by far. Heidi is so darned cute and Adam is the king of bad puns. I know you are on your way to that million subscribers.

It seems that you've really seen the best from the great Roma and Condesa colonias in México City! except for just one more great place there is which is a one of the great department stores there called: "El Palacio de Hierro" which is located on the "Durango" street there! and although it's not the best of the "El Palacio De Hierro" stores yet it still is a very beautiful store! Now that big chain has 21 big stores in the best places of Mexico! including their huge "Palacio De Hierro Polanco"! unit or store! which also happens to be the largest departament store unit not just in Mexico but in all of Latin America! now! but still their "Condesa Palacio De Hierro Store" while not being that big it's still very beautiful! and it was their second store unit opened for that great department chain of stores back in 1958! Their first one was opened in 1891! in the Downtown Area (Centro Histórico) just two blocs from the Mexico City Cathedral! the National Palace(Palacio Nacional) and many other interesting buildings there! by the way that first "Palacio De Hierro" store in the Downtown Area (Centro Histórico) was designed by "Gustave Eiffel"! does that sound familiar to you? well that is because he was also the designer of the very famous "Eiffel Tower"! yeah! the big famous tower in Paris! France! Other interesting building in the Colonia Condesa is the "Russian Embassy"! in Mexico City! which is a huge mansion with another great story including among other things that it was very first Embassy of the USSR in the American Continent! It came to be in Mexico even in the terrible times of J. Stallin! by the way! Of course you could only see it only from the outside! if you were there! since there are no turism guided tours there! and much less now with that big war started by the Russians over Ukraine! Finally there's also a very big bookshop near from that Russian Embassy in the Tamaulipas Avenue, although maybe you won't be very interested on visiting it since most books on sale there are only in spanish! besides that there are too many good restaurants around that area! but you would actually need to live there for at least three or four months there! in order to visit them all!
Oh wow! That’s incredible! Thank you so much for sharing.
I want to be in Mexico City with you two beautiful people
Awwww thanks 🙏 Alexander! We appreciate it! Come on down! 😉
Interesting video again from you guys so informative. Thank you for sharing👍 Hope to visit Mexico one day❤️
We hope you can too!!
The place looks so cool!! my bro lived there for years loved it.. Now i see why!
Oh awesome!
Man do I miss the food in Mexico.
It’s soooo good!
Just came back from my job and I was sooooo excited for this video the whole day!!! Did you guys know on Sunday’s they close traffic for the cyclists for a couple hours? Also I’m watching this with my bf and now he’s even more excited to go to Mexico lol you guys rock!!
Oo yay that’s awesome!! Yes we rode bikes down it a couple weeks ago it was so fun!
That's a really nice AirBnb! I feel like I say this in every video but, I do love the art and colors of Mexico. Wow that's cool. A croissant bowl? Filled Guyava? That's new for me. I love this, touring neighborhoods that are away from the central district. I love that Mexico City is a dog city. A perfect replica. I've been to the original fountain in Madrid once before. Honestly, what I've seen of Mexico City in these 2 videos so far reminds me a bit of Madrid. Mmm tacos. So many amazing little parks throughout the city. Definitely, a lot like Madrid while having its own flair.
Exactly! Thanks for watching!!
Awsome you guys went to the luchas!!!! El moro what an iconic place, yeesss my city has tons of Parks, in some they have salsa or cumbia.

Wow... those beautiful dogs...I love it...
Aren’t they the best?! So well behaved.
Wow, you have made us want to visit these neighborhoods from where we are living in Acapulco. We have 3 very badly behaved little dogs 🤣. If we avoid the dog parks with them, do you think we'd run across alot of 'stray' dogs on the streets? Our dogs always try to pick a fight!
