Yamaha are my go-to affordable acoustics. IMO best bang for the buck. Although, I give a shout out for Simon & Patrick (made here in Canada). Anyway, as always, informative and I love the playing. Thank you, Megan. ALSO: You've been AWOL for awhile, hoping you were/are recording new music. Cheers!
Have the crossroads auditorium size, it's £100 and is fantastic for the price, only brought it to play outside in the summer or take camping, for £400 I'd be taking a look at faith for an all solid guitar rather than laminate
I sold my perfect Martin acoustic guitar, it was so boring, I only play cheap and cheerful guitars now, my favourite at the moment is a Crafter T40 acoustic. 💓🎸.
Im from canada and the Epiphone j45 is priced at 1,069.00 here thats not cheep thats over half a month's salary for a minimum wage job, clearly we have a different idea of what cheep is, for me and majority of young adults it would be $500 canadian and under
It's a shame we couldn't really hear the guitars range of tones, dreadnoughts primarily are strumming guitars, gentle fingerstyle would be better suited to showing smaller bodies guitars. Without digging in with a pick you didn't display any of the dynamics of these guitars. Making any informed decision impossible.
We don’t have the same “cheap” meaning…

The epi j45s are just incredible. The looks, and the sounds.
Lovely review.. especially the Little Green on the J45

I like her playing - simple, beautiful.
I've got a Yamaha APX600 Acoustic Electric Guitar setup with a ToneWoodAmp. Pretty nice combo for around $600 bucks
I just bought the tanglewood, thanks
hang on, the fg 800 yamaha has a solid top with scalab brazing, i guess you forgot that small part
I would throw the yamaha FG830 and Yamaha FS800, good guitars for a very reasonable price
Great vid. . . I've got over 1100 reasons to buy a new guitar
