I bought the original version of Yamaha APX500 15 yrs ago from UK. Since then, I have been frequenting shops and trying out everything from $3000 Taylors to Takamine's and everything in between. I've had my eye on the fender all mahogany for the past week. I've only been playing for 3 months and I don't know anything about guitars. My brother gave me his Ovation Celebrity. Would I be downgrading quite badly if I were to buy the fender and give him back his Ovation?
I had a tanglewood crossroads cut away an sent it back. Nice to start off with but then ended up with string buzz an I’ve also got a scar on my right inner bicep due to friction burn from the body of the guitar as it seems to have a rougher finish
Another fine video, but feel you should layout what your definition of "cheap" is. For me, I'd say about $200 USD or less. In looking up the Fender Malibu on Muscians Friend it was listed at $399 USD - that ain't cheap. Anyway, just a suggestion, a line off the top just saying the price range would be helpful. Thank you.
I'm with you... The Fender sounded amazing! I love the deep rich sound and am now considering purchasing one! Luckily, I no longer have to ask a "Wife's" permission... so it's just a matter of finding the best deal I can.
I just played a Rogue at Guitar Center. I have a Taylor 214ce Deluxe. I payed $1400 for it. I liked playing the Rogue acoustic more than my Taylor. It played easier, actually sounds better and it's selling for $70. You should do a review of one of those. I'm going back to Guitar Center tomorrow and buying it.
Is the Yamaha in this video better than the fg800? And there's the seagull everyone's been talking about. Maybe do an updated video of a few more guitars?
IMHO only… 1. Nylon strings hurt your fingers less when you are learning 2. In my opinion, steel strings sound much better. Much brighter, better sustain.

Great help I tried three of theses and bought a washburn
6:56 - Dagen it's Goldilocks and the Three Bears
I loved your "G" chord on the Fender CD60SCE, but I can't help but wonder what a boom you would feel with an "E" instead? :) Gonna have to try it out for myself! Great info!
I've had my eye on the fender all mahogany for the past week. I've only been playing for 3 months and I don't know anything about guitars. My brother gave me his Ovation Celebrity. Would I be downgrading quite badly if I were to buy the fender and give him back his Ovation?
I've been wanting a new epiphone guitar and the pro 1 seems perfect thanks so much for this helpful vid
What was the name of the song you used for tangle wood twcr-o
Informative and Entertaining ...Thank You !!
I had a tanglewood crossroads cut away an sent it back. Nice to start off with but then ended up with string buzz an I’ve also got a scar on my right inner bicep due to friction burn from the body of the guitar as it seems to have a rougher finish
3:15

I didn't like the Malibu either... It sounds quite shallow
@@drivinginthedcbaarea like a ukulele almost
What songs r these
Repunzel was in the tower I think, Goldilocks was with the 3 bears, I like the look of the Tanglewood
I don't know that much about them but I just bought a cheap Ibanez Model 55 which seems to play quite well. Ever heard of it?
Another fine video, but feel you should layout what your definition of "cheap" is. For me, I'd say about $200 USD or less.
In looking up the Fender Malibu on Muscians Friend it was listed at $399 USD - that ain't cheap.
Anyway, just a suggestion, a line off the top just saying the price range would be helpful. Thank you.
gmscurto Dude, you could get a Seagull S6 for that price. Lol
Pmt is based in the uk so their doing gutairs under £300
I'm with you... The Fender sounded amazing! I love the deep rich sound and am now considering purchasing one! Luckily, I no longer have to ask a "Wife's" permission... so it's just a matter of finding the best deal I can.
that fender Malibu sounds like shit.
tanglewood was better
What's the song he's playing at 7:24?
Guns N Roses - Don't Cry
VERY WELL DONE MATE..
From THE U.S
.
Just bought a fender cd-sce60 for my son, great beginner guitar!! Sent him your links so he can follow your videos !!! Thanks from Louisiana!!!
Please can you say if the fender malibu player sounds good for its price compared to others and why its not well loved among other acoustics
I bought the Yamaha APX500 MK2 in this January. My first guitar, the best guitar 🎸🥇
The small Fender doesn't belong here it sounds like a ukelele. But I love that you played John Mayer's Love Soon on it. :)
The mahog Fender is lit!
Is the Yamaha in this video better than the fg800? And there's the seagull everyone's been talking about. Maybe do an updated video of a few more guitars?
What's he playing at 4:15 ?
Idk why I’m here I don’t even need a new guitar but he’s really entertaining.
We're glad you're here though :) Enjoy the videos. -Lee
what's the jazzy thing you start playing at 21:37?
well presented mate ... enjoyed that.
Nice to see someone giving love to "Victoria" by John Mayer
Dude, this is exactly the setup i need!!!!!!
Just discovered your channel! Love it! Are you from the north east of England by any chance ?
Thanks for this video. With a crappy guitar, I don't know what to do with my self
i went here to look for an affordable guitar but i really like how he plays a lot more :D
The biggest issue I’m having right now is finger strength... any tips?
stick finger in ass
what's the song for the start of 4:13 ?
Thanks to this video I ordered the Tanglewood from you lot today
Hey Dagan. Jist wanted to let you know that I love watching your videos. You're an inspiration!❤
Fender looks/sounds good, loving the injection of humour as well........
Why is the fender CD-60S out of stock everywhere? Does it not get produced anymore?
Really helpful video, thanks. Is it better to get an acoustic guitar with steel or nylon strings, what's the difference? Thanks in advance.
IMHO only…
1. Nylon strings hurt your fingers less when you are learning
2. In my opinion, steel strings sound much better. Much brighter, better sustain.
I'm in love with that Tanglewood
Yamaha will always be best bang for your buck In the 300 dollar range
I love the jack white at the beginning
They all sound great, Dagan!
I like how the East coast sounds, is it worth it ?
Mahogany fender sounds wooow, and loved the Washburn too.
Need a little help I’m a new guitar player. Looking at some guitars which one would be best? Epiphone hummingbird artist, fender CD-60,fender cc-60s or epiphone pro-1 plus.
What song???? 6:30
Hey, what song did you play on the introduction to the tanglewood? It sounds familiar but I can’t put my finger on it.
