    So weird. I live in Austin, TX and I'm at NADGT this weekend and met a dude following the MP40 div lead card. He is from San Jose. I asked him what's the course out there to play and he said De La. I added it to my Udisc wishlist. Good luck with your biz!

    I am legally blind and enjoy disc golf a great deal as it gets me outdoors for sun, fresh air and exercise. I played off and on for years, but play more often now as it is a safe way to get exercise and something I can do nearly as well as before I lost my eyesight. Visualizing the shot and familiarity with the course have worked well for me. I just got some new discs. Wound up with an Innova pack with a Valkyrie, Leopard and Aviar. I really like them so far. This was was G star plastic; new to me. I'm surprised how bouncy they are when they hit the ground, getting huge skips. Does this continue with wear or do they "calm down"?

    • @TheDiscZone
      @TheDiscZone  13 дней назад +1

      @@actthree7810 I'm stoked that you find disc golf enjoyable! The G star plastic is much gummier comparitive to other Innova plastics. Typically it is much straighter to other plastic types and should "beat in" to not flare skip as much. What discs did you used to throw? Were they DX or other baseline plastic discs? If so, the premium plastic discs will want to be slightly more stable or finish stronger. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks for posting this. Fascinating. My son and I will be sure to come down to your shop next time we play DeLa. Am shocked to find out how popular MVP/Axiom is, especially out here when no one is given those as player pack discs at tourneys. Especially interesting to see how well the midranges sell, I probably have spent less on mid ranges than anything else over the last 20 years, mostly because I almost never lose them and they take so long to cycle out of my bag.
    Do DGA or AGL have any presence due to their proximity?

    • @TheDiscZone
      @TheDiscZone  День назад +1

      @@Jiwabursting I do sell a handful of DGA and AGL discs as well. The Baobabs from AGL and the Vortexs from DGA are fairly popular, but not as popular as the mainstream stuff. The hype with Simon Lizotte, Eagle McMahon, and overmold technology is creating a serious buzz around the MVP/Axiom lineup. Later next week I plan on making a video on the best selling "molds" so people can see which discs are truly most popular. I appreciate your comment and hope to see you soon!

  • @bigdiscenergy
    @bigdiscenergy 13 дней назад +1

    Great video! This list shows: 1) everyone goes out and buys brand new molds that get proper exposure in the DGN and online advertising. The Rollo and Gorgon had big pushes this year along with most of your list. 2) Simon is making MVP rich af! Lol! 3) MVP owns the mid-range market. No Mako3, no Fuse, etc on the list.
    And personally, 4) I know my bag is pretty dialed seeing I have all the MVP mids on the list except the Detour. And i have NO desire to change the rest of my slots from DD to putters. Love innova/infinite/lat64 for drivers and i putt with 2 Lunas.

    Well done. I know a lot of players (older, female, kids, first timers) who either do, or could, benefit greatly throwing lighter weight discs. Innova offers the most lightweight options. MVP and Axiom do at times. Prodigy on some models. Gateway has light and ultra light lines. Dino discs for kids are amazing. Latitude 64 goes light on some models. Example - my wife is a fair weather "fun" player who plays a couple times a month - a 140 g Stingray is a laser for her. My neighbor is 65, plays once a week, a 155 g DX Leopard is his go to, and he does great with a 157 L 64 Maul ! I throw a 160 Neutron Hex for a ton of shots ! It's a real market out there, IMO, not well served in shops that I've seen.
