As a kid, I vaguely recall thinking that Chris Bowman was a “bad boy” and Paul Wylie was “Mr Nice Guy.” That thinking stayed with me for years, but now when I look at these guys as an analyst and adult, I see them more for what they were: great skaters, but with very different styles. Ultimately, Bowman’s attitude was what cost him. Still, his reputation for high potential cannot be ignored. The fact that Kurt Browning and Brian Boitano were as impressed as they were says an awful lot.

Scott Hamilton is batty about Eldredge and Bowman. By the rules, Eldredge had a fall which was a .5 deduction. Bowman had a stepout after the triple axel which was a .3 deduction. Eldredge also had a time deduction.
"His jail and his hell will be his free life". Damn, Toller! Talk about prescience. RIP Bowman.

Petrenko performance was very similar to Plushenko in 2002. I now that Victor was Evgeny idol,so thats why 💁♀️😉
Paul Wylie was phenomenal here 👏
Kurt Browning was not from the US.....Vernwas nice, but never knew what he was talking about
Viktor and his speedo!!!
Chris Bowman...could've been Olympic Champion, but we know what happened. A shame.
When he was on, he was spectacular, but he was off, probably more often, and it’s unfortunate.

I didn’t know about the time deduction. Was his program too short or something? It would definitely explain the extra penalty on his score.
I give Eldridge so much props for staying in the game as long as he did and staying competitive not easy in that sport.
Surprised to see tonya in the jump tutorial. Figured they would’ve asked Kristi or Nancy.
She was the most prolific jumper of those three.
Or Surya?🤔🤔
Tonya was a better jumper than Nancy and especially Kristi, who got very little height on her jumps.
She wasn't as hated throughout her career as she's tried to claim since 94.
