Georgie picking up his dads suit looking like he was going to break into a million pieces but holding it together when the lady said “that’s nice of you to pick it up for him”
I literally wanted to enter the screen and slap the lady when she jokling said yet buisness like given him the price acting like he was still alive
OMGoodness yes 😢
And the way he said “That’s my Dads”. Montana did a stellar acting job through these heartbreaking scenes, being strong for the rest of the family
Wayne was the best charachter to me. He always had his shit together, but he shows emotion in this moment.
George helped him after his wife cheated on him.
@@ace9924and Wayne is his work wife according to him.
Wayne and Tom delivering the sad news to Mary was their favor to George
Fr u can see his grief in this moment😢
@@howardcitizen2471😢😢😢
I felt bad for Dale this episode. The man just came to make sure everyone was ok and got yelled at instead.
That’s grief sometimes, lashing out at the people who love you and care for you the most . It’s not easy for anyone
well, it was kind of a stupid question. their beloved father had just died. no, they are not okay. they aren't going to BE OKAY for a long time
@@jessebowman161 It's not really a question. It's a sentiment indicating that he's there for them if they need anything
@@jessebowman161if u can’t handle someone saying how are u feeling jus end it right now cause ur pathetic jus saying even if ur not okay jus say don’t turn into a stupid bitch with an attitude
He knew not to take it personally.
People don't realize how much time George and Wayne spent together. In a lot of ways, he was around George just as much as Mary and the kids, and loved him just as much.
It has always been hard to see a black man cry. I don't quite understand why.
He wasn’t just a coworker, he was like a brother to George.
Wayne was definitely George’s best friend, and George was equally as much Wayne’s best friend.
I work in an office with one assistant . It's just us. I spend more time with her than anyone else in my life. weird when you think about it
Yeah, now Wayne had cried since his bestest white friend George Senior Cooper died.
‘Nice of you to pick it up for him’
The grief and pride in being able to do that one last thing for your father.
Missy yelling at dale for sitting in her dads chair just shattered me. I lost my dad when I was 12, and she portrayed the emotions of a grieving teenage girl who loved her daddy perfectly.
I’m so sorry for ur dad
being a bad person for no reason?
Sorry to hear that
@@limerency5834 when you are grieving you say things you don’t mean out of pure pain. Has nothing to do with being a bad person. She is also a freaking teenager. Show some empathy.
@@emmylouwho85 I was a teenager when I lost my mom but wasn’t stupid enough to fail to comprehend my family was also related to her lol
I literally can’t even think of George without crying. I have no idea why- it’s just such an emotional moment for me..
Same!!! 😔😭🥺 Personally due to what happened with me and losing my grandfather who raised my sister and I. Gives me the same emotions every time I watch any scenes or episodes talking about George being gone.
Bro sameeeeeee!! Literally George is such a wonderful father. I couldn’t care less that it’s just a show and that these are actors, Lance Barber transformed himself into the role of George Cooper. So much so that I can’t get through this without breaking down.
I’m crying like a baby too, I can’t stop crying
I lost my mom four years ago, and i still run into people that didn’t know my mom passed. Then it hits me all over again that she’s gone. It’s hard.
@@kerriethompson2073 I know the feeling. It’s so sad…Like it’s the same feeling that comes around when I have a dream that I’m talking to my grandmother on my dads side who passed away over 5 years ago. It still hurts even after all these years….
Georgie trying to keep himself together was the most emotional part of this scene for me.
Sheldon randomly running into all members of his family taken care of and he is all alone made his comment about the deat of mama wollowitz so much more intense ! « When my father died, I had no friend to help me trough it. You do. »
“Nice of you to pick it up for him”
“Well yeah, but not like he’ll be picking up anything else… ever again in fact”
Aww, poor Wayne! Him and George probably never expressed how much they cared for each other because "men don't do that" (especially not tough guys, like football coaches).
Georgie... His pain was greater than most of them but he's so tough that even some of us can't see it. Damn
The way missy didnt let him sit in georges chair is so fucking heartbreaking help
IKR? Broke my heart. 😢
Many people have said that Georgie or Missy's grieve is the hardest to see, but I'd argue that Sheldon's is the most heartbreaking. Sheldon is a very analytical person. When they are planning the funeral, Sheldon sits there numb, unable to get others to understand his thoughts, and says that the details of the funeral don't matter, as it won't change the fact the George is gone. Many times, people with a thought proccess simular to Sheldon's find the objective truth and then try to move on. Some analytical people show their emotions really well, but others (like Sheldon) try to supress their feelings in order to get by. That is why SHeldon's is most heartbreaking. The last episodes are written where we kinda learn how every other character is dealing with their grief, but Sheldon's initial feelings are masked. How are we to know how he actually feels?
I cant this was supposed to be a fun show that made me laugh with my family 😭😭😭
Mary was really nice to George’s friend
The ability for this cast to keep us entertained and laughing for years to sudden heartbreak is astonishing and speaks volumes of all the cast members. One of the best endings in a series, EVER.
Out of all the Coopers, Georgie turned out to have handled George's passing better than the rest of his family, without "self-destructing."
With Mary being a mess, Missy being a dumb teenager, and Sheldon "running away" to college, Georgie stepped up to take care of his family, promising to be their anchor. While the Coopers grieved in their own way, Georgie was the only one to grieve but find the inner strength to be the kind of man that his family needed and the kind of man that George would be proud of while looking down from heaven.
😅😅😅😅😅
His father would often talk about him like he was a lost cause. But , then his father dies and his eldest son ends up becoming the type of man he wanted him to be all along.
Everyone processes grief differently. I think we see different ways people go through it in the kids. Missy is obviously Anger, Sheldon Denial and maybe Acceptance for Georgie. Really heartbreaking seeing Missy holding her Tiara and Georgie picking up his Dad's suit... To anyone who lost their parent/s, may you heal and find hope in the future...
"Hope you like casserole"
"I do like casserole 😭😭😭😭"
Thag was hilarious im sorry💀💀
A very well done episode. The guitar that starts at 2:03 sounds a bit like the beginning of _Singin' Call_ from _Stephen Stills 2_ - his second solo album. A great song.
Correction: It's Nick Drake. The song is called _Horn_ from his _Pink Moon_ album.
@@mxbishop thank you for the source, it's a great piece
Georgie, really stood up to the plate. Bless him.😊
One way to deal with grief.... avoid it completely 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sheldon would say/do that
@@kittylover62i mean it is literally what he said
His face at then end when she say "that would be about 8$" got me not gonna lie 😂 3:05
George Sr and Georgie are my favorite characters.
absolutely
0:35 that's my spot regime starting
I love how Georgie says “ it’s my dad’s “ instead of “ it was my dad’s “ because it shows he is still with them in their hearts
I wish sheldon went into missys room and say "that was beautiful" after missy stopped playing
Missy wasnt playing guitar she was holding her tiara
I like how they showed the different ways people, even within the same family, deal with their individual grief
2:33 thats a very sheldon response
So tragic. Yet a well written finale.

i felt Missy's reaction, it's been over three years since my nana's passing and i still have to bite my tongue when someone sits on her side of the couch
Man Dale always gets yelled at just for existing 😭
Real. Dale was just trying to help. 😢
Wayne is no longer George’s work wife..😔
Wayne did a great job to remember geroge's best friend and loved geroge liked a brother
I'll never forget that geroge did died ending it makes Lindsay leininger cry for geroge ❤😢
It was so sad seeing missy being so unbelievably regretful for not appreciating her father as much as she wanted to, like she got angry when seeing dale sit in her father's seat and she was flooded with tears at the funeral
When my dad died, I was angry like Missy. It’s very painful to deal with that as a child
Poor man Dale, all he did is came to check on everyone and see if they were okay, but all they did was yell at him.. well I really feel bad for him.
One of the best bands ever playing in this scene.. The Cranberries

Georgie was the most reliable and the best guy ever!
If the previous episode could be called "The Death of George Cooper I", this could be called "The Rise of George Cooper II". When he speaks to his father at the funeral, you can see the future of the Cooper's being solidified. When we first meet Georgie, he's a teenager looking for a quick way out of Medford. He's a 14 year -old Ralph Kramden, in a way. He's always looking for a shortcut. By the end of the series, he's a father, a competent businessman, the steward of the Cooper family, and on his way to becoming Dr. Tire, the biggest tire salesman in Texas. When you look back, the Cooper family had a Nobel Laureate, and a millionaire. George and Mary must have been good parents...
George and Mary were phenomenal parents. More parents like them would make this world a better place.
Wayne was great! What a good guy!
Avoid it..if you can cope with it
Georgie really did keep it all together
I feel bad for Wayne and dale in this, missy to, she doesn’t mean to be mean
george wasn’t just a father,
he was a husband,
a best friend,
someone’s coach,
someone’s grandfather,
Missy is always defending his dad. She felt it the most
For some odd reason I’m kinda crying when it’s a show
If you've already lost a parent, you can relate to what every character is going through. If you haven't, then you're mentally preparing yourself for what's to come.
Poor Wayne. He sobbed because his best White Friend passed away.
God why my dad literally just died and this was our show and the ending just hit me in so many ways
Sorry for your loss. Please keep remembering the good life your father lived, and be grateful you got to enjoy him as long as you did.
When you think abou it. Sheldon was alone with his grief. Because no one saw that he was griefing. Thats the worst part of autism. That people actually think you're stupid just because you behave and process many things different.
I remember taking my sister's laptop to Geek Squad for password recovery after she died. She was self employed and we needed to contact the people she was working for and let them know, tie up loose ends. I was fine, had been in high gear for days handling all the things that needed to be done and helping my parents. I got to the counter, the tech asked what services I needed, and I froze. Couldn't speak. Tears came from nowhere and I managed to whisper 'password'. The tech opened the laptop, punched some buttons, closed it, and quietly said 'I'm so sorry'. He slid it across the counter to me and said no charge. I managed to get out of the store quietly, but I sat in my car for a long time sobbing. Not sure why it happened in the store, maybe it was just the stillness of the moment.
What doesn't blow over. Sticks with you.
I take it that word of George’s passing didn’t reach the lady at the dry cleaner 🤦♀️…I can’t imagine what life would be like if or when my dad passes. Losing any family member, in general, is initially hard…but it get easier as time goes by.
You will eventually smile, laugh and live without feeling guilty. You will eventually remember them and smile, instead of cry. It never gets 'easier' though, it just simply gets a little 'less hard' to get through a day without them.
u can tell by season mary wore dresses to sweatshirts bc u can tell she misses him

1:40 in Another reality the black dude dies, I would say “the one person who never truly loved him never got truly mad at me, died”
I dont know why this is so sad for me but it is im bawling 😭
Yeah. Take a hike. 😂
I started crying during this moment and my german shepard was all worried and jumped on my bed.
Such a loving character Wayne was. 👌♥️
Why did i laugh at Wayne so much 😂
Everybody saw Geoge during the series but at this scenes it came to ligth how important he was to so many people.
"Thats my spot."
"Oh sorry. Here, have a seat."
"I dont want to sit there. That's just my spot."
Bruh, why in such a serious moment did I laugh at that 😂
1:10 when your work wife and wife wife get along.
not me proceeding to bawl my eyes out rn
For a long time after my dad died, no one sat on his chair on the dinner table.
I didn’t even notice Missy was holding the crown she wore for their daddy daughter date 😢 I’ve never had a character death hit me so hard
missy dealing with this hit me the hardest. could be the actress, could be bc im a girl around her age, could be bc her storyline has always hit the hardest, idk. but when she was yelling at sheldon for not acting like he cared, any time she cried, just all of it. i cried a million times watching it
Poor Dale
Did he die in real life
missy is so annoying
He probably didn't know, but Dale's been over at the Cooper's many times. He had to have seen George mostly in that chair. I don't know why he sat in it
Wayne crying made me cry 😢
the symbolism of his dads suit being too big is amazing
2:09 the way missy was looking at the crown that she wore at her daddy-daughter-date with George made me cry
Wayne I do like casserole 😂😂😂
Years ago, I dropped off my father's pants at a dry cleaning place that does alterations. The clerk.was kind of rude, and said this for small man. I was shocked how insensitive these people are at dry cleaning shops. Poor Georgie.
He was such a amazing son to him
It’s alright Wayne, it’s all good man.
Poor Sheldon had very little emotional intelligence. His math and science couldn't help him deal with such a human emotion as grief.
Women, never can accept men crying. It's sad
I never liked missy 😂
2:35 Another proof why YOU ARE NOT AS EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT AS YOU THINK YOU ARE.
Lol Sheldon’s saying that he WASN’T emotionally intelligent enough to deal with the grief. He admits it.
Missy needs a hug
I felt bad for Sheldon everyone had somebody to grieve with them but him through the video
Sheldon didn't want to sit on his spot because he won't have his father on his chair at his periphery anymore.
When I saw funeral scene made me think of my dog passing away
Best friend
Hope George knew how much wayne cared about him
i lost my dad when i was 2 years old and when dale got shouted at for sitting on his chair, shattered me
The loneliness of Sheldon is heartbreaking.
so this is where the line that my spot from Sheldon came from
Mary and only mary deserved this. No one else
My Dad's chair was also retired the day he passed. I get it.
I feel so bad for dale
GEORGE REAL Name Is MONTANA❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sturgis didn’t deserve that 😭
wait why is the first # kill like help 😭😭😭
What is the song called??
