250 Bird Challenge Point Reyes and Goodbye to California Ep28

We are trying to see 250 different bird species this year and this is our last video from California. We go birdwatching at Point Reyes National Seashore and Muir Woods before we finally say goodbye to San Francisco and all the other wonderful places we've seen in California.

Wow, one of your best videos yet. Some really beautiful footage. I really enjoyed this travel series and actually experienced pangs of regret as you and Sarah said goodbye to California. I recently returned from a week in Oregon where I saw a small subset of the western species you experienced which was great fun too. Looking forward to your next birding venture from closer to home!

Fantastic trip videos but did you actually come to California and miss our endemic banana-billed buddies, the Yellow-billed Magpie? That's a serious miscalculation. If you get back you probably need a lot of birds of the Sierra. Hit me up and I can find you a ton of stuff.

Hi Chris, we did see the Magpie while driving near The Pinnacles, but I didn't get it on camera as it was fleeting... so I didn't count it. Hopefully that won't bite me on the arse when I'm at 249 😂
