I've just finished your whole California trip with you, and I've watched most of this years 350 challenge, but need to catch up on some of the earlier episodes. I've learned so much about the different species and am finding that I'm able to identify many of the birds before your labels turn up. BTW, I really like that your labels are large and easy to read. Many birders put the bird name in such tiny letters at the bottom corners , I sometimes spend more time trying to read those and than I get to see the bird itself. Anyway, thanks to you and Sara for sharing your birding adventures with us. I, for one, and truly enjoying all of it. Frankly I'm really surprised you don't have more Subscribers. I find your Chanell's' content and narration to be excellent!
Hello and goodbye, sniff, it was soooo fun to have you in the hood exploring and marveling over our common birds here, cant wait to get to the east and drool over birds you bump into every day. This video production in particular was so well done. And...drum roll...i finished STRONG with the Point Reyes prediction. Thanks for the bubbles! Wow, one of your best videos yet. Some really beautiful footage. I really enjoyed this travel series and actually experienced pangs of regret as you and Sarah said goodbye to California. I recently returned from a week in Oregon where I saw a small subset of the western species you experienced which was great fun too. Looking forward to your next birding venture from closer to home!

Fantastic trip videos but did you actually come to California and miss our endemic banana-billed buddies, the Yellow-billed Magpie? That's a serious miscalculation. If you get back you probably need a lot of birds of the Sierra. Hit me up and I can find you a ton of stuff.
Hi Chris, we did see the Magpie while driving near The Pinnacles, but I didn't get it on camera as it was fleeting... so I didn't count it. Hopefully that won't bite me on the arse when I'm at 249 😂
