Amazing this place still exists. One of the most memorable places to me. Also, interestingly, the Point Reyes Peninsula is moving north from the land just east of Tomales Bay. After the 1906 earthquake, Point Reyes jolted north by 21 feet.
It is an interesting little time capsule. I can't imagine what it would have been like to live out there in such a little community, quite a different lifestyle.
The farmstead kept making me think of the book Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery. What an amazing noise the Elk make, it was great to see them in the distance. The beach was amazing so deserted, I bet you got your feet wet? Wow amazing to think of Point Reyes shifting so much after the 1906 earthquake! The fog made everywhere feel a bit sinister although beautiful. I must admit I got concerned as the tide came in alarmingly and I kept thinking, “Don’t get cut off” , I was scared. ☺️
Rugged and beautiful scenery. The elk family must be surprised by your presence at such early hour. Thank you.
Beautiful! I love the path down to the beach. The elk sounds in the fog was so mysterious! 🍪☕🦌
Not sure why this got recommended to me suddenly, but so glad it was. 👌
No wonder they filmed "The Fog" in the area, look at this milk. 👀
Thats nice. Hugs from Brazil ! 🥰
Espectacular, tiene cierto ambiente Silent Hill. Muy buen trabajo. Saludos!🤙
