Love Olivia Giacobetti's style! You must try her creation for d'Orsay called Vouloir Être Ailleurs C.G. Such a gorgeous fresh, green, honeyed spring floral scent. Somehow she created this subtle humidity in it--like smelling the breath of the linden blossom. Hope to get a bottle at some point 😍
I have Belle de Grasse by Fragonard which is lilac, mimosa, violet and heliotrope. I liked Drop d'Issey the original one though, but that one is more creamy and almondy with lilac. I might pick up the Pacifica one 💜
It's beautiful, pretty realistic, fresher from the opening, warmer towards dry down, not that dewy or watery tough. Fragonard has nice floral perfumes, was really surprised. And i almost bought Jacques Fath one when I had lilac craze, and still might after this video.Aerin is not that easily obtainable in Europe where I'm from ( the reason I can't swap😢) and now I'm glad. I got a decant of En passant and it's going to stay that way😄
@@LiLali840I got the Fath Lilas Exquise and it’s a lovely Hyacinth and lilac with the a slightly dusty green and light body. I am thinking about the Fragonard because I love their Mimosa the best. There is also Caswell Massey to test as well.
@@TheSmokey1523 Yes, I tought I don't like orange flowers on their own until i tried fleurs d'oranger intense. Fragonard gets me with their flowers altough I'm more of a fan of richer, more complex scents. The beauty in them is undeniable. I' m going to check if that Fath set is still available 🤭
@@illiona3289 for me that one is subtle, yet present. Just when I think it has faded, I’ll catch a whiff of it. It does seem to perform better in the heat for me, so I look forward to wearing it more as it warms up where I am.
I love lilac fragrances when theyre done right but when they're not done right, they can be very cloying and headache inducing. Lanvin Eclat is a beautiful lilac fragrance. Also, DUA has some great lilac fragrances.
Wish I could rewind time and have you sniff Elizabeth W's lilac fragrance from many moons ago. For me that one was the most photorealistic lilac from my own youth. Elizabeth W is a San Francisco brand and me having been from there it makes sense that it's the lilac I'm familiar with. It's such an old product of theirs that their current staff (at least the ones I spoke with) are unaware of its previous existence. Elizabeth W's Lilac is my Romantica 😢

Is that the clear bottle? I noticed it becomes more “lilacy” with time. It was almost too floral upon first spray but after one hour I only smelled lilacs and really liked it
