I have to admit that Bobby is my favorite member of the Bass Gang. And I love this video. I don't know the original at all, so I don't know if the 40s swing vibe is original or is unique to this arrangement, but I absolutely love it.
The swing vibe is straight out of the original...worth a listen if you can find it! Robin Williams brought so much energy and intensity to Genie's character.

5:01 I said the exact same thing when I watch this video for the first time 🤯I've been listening to a lot of Bobby's older tiktoks while trying to train my lower range (humble brag: i finally managed to hit a clean Eb2 in Chest the other day and I've been living off that high (or low, i should say) ever since 😇) and Bobby's upper register has improved DRASTICALLY over the last year or so. His upper range sounds significantly less strained than it used to (the clarity on that D5🤤) , and I'm here for it! Great reaction Mortius, I was waiting for this one to come out! 😁

This is great, and I suspect I will be rerewatching fairly regularly, but _Gaston_ still holds the crown for me because it just makes me smile so much! Personal preference. And yes, take care of yourself - I didn't, and it cost me a lot, including a year of my memory when my children were growing up (because I was in constant pain and on high-dose painkillers I couldn't lay down long-term memories). It matters more than being a bit more dynamic in a video!
