    Ninja Nerds!
In this lecture Professor Zach Murphy will be teaching you about the sarcomere, which is the structural and functional unit of skeletal muscle. We go into great detail on the sarcomere and how these microscopic changes occur at the cellular level to cause a contraction. We hope you enjoy this lecture and be sure to support us below!

do you guys have any idea just how much your channel is impacting the education of so many students trying to learn during this covid pandemic? seriously. i just want to LEARN! it's been so hard to grasp, understand and process the overwhelming amount of information we need to know. i mean, i feel like A&P is hard enough, let alone trying to learn remotely or hybrid. not only do you guys make it possible, but you kinda rock at it. i love that you take the time to teach in detail and explain things in a way that makes sense to us! you should get a cut of everyone's tuition! i seriously cannot thank you enough! keep it up! we'd be lost without you!

As usual fantastic work, thank you! Tiny remark: IMHO isotropic does not mean lighter it just coincides with being lighter, but actually means (in this context) that it has the same optical properties in all directions which is true for actin in contrast to myosin. This can easily be verified with a polarizing microscope where actin is much less birefrigent than myosin.
