Why every FPS must be a hero shooter with extraction game mode?
Normies love them for some reason. I miss being a faceless grunt.

Call of duty and fortnite has made billions off of battle passes and skin bundles so naturally every publisher and studio has to plug this model into their games too. It’s here to stay and I will be flabbergasted is the next battlefield goes back to the faceless grunt type of character design.
The 6v6 team death match arena shooters is so 2010… extraction shooters is the new trend.. BRs are not going anywhere either but I think survival pvpve might be the next trend eventually.

i hope the game is good as having alternatives to bf is not a bad idea but personally the operators trend is a big turn down for me but i will say im excited for the SP mode.
8:59 Real Delta Force had individual body part damage. Most of the time it did not matter because in DF bullets where as deadly as real bullets.

@@Dangerman-zg3ui Only real difference between two games was the vehicles. In DF vehicles where on rails programmed by the map designer. As you know in JO you had full control.

Yeah, the Chinese are big on mobile games so I can understand the skepticism, luckily it'll be free to play so I guess no harm checking it out though?

Honestly, everything in some way shape or form has been through multiple parties. 1st, 2nd, 3rd party developers, staff, distribution, etc. Use Apple for example. Designed in Cali, but built in China. Try the game. If you like it, play it. If not, uninstall and move to the next. If you let a demogaphic stop you from enjoying life, might as well put yourself in a box and float up the river.... scratch that. Box may be built overseas and the river could have imported fish!

As this will be a cross-platform title that will also include mobile ( per IGN interview with devs) there is really high chance they will introduce p2w down the road, we are talking about a studio that is fully owned by Tencent that has full ownership of this IP.
Even tho it will be f2p I don't think I will give my time to it, mainly because of emphasis on operators with special abilities combined with high chance of this game being p2w as time progresses.
Gonna give it a try. But no high hopes. Ive been down this road of Battlefield competition with World War 3 and Homefront. Neither of which matched up to BF unfortunately.
If you are fine with Bots and cartoony graphics, you could give Ravenfield or Running with Rifles a look.
And on the sci-fi side, Angels Falls First is decent as well.
Their animation work is miles ahead of 2042, I'll give them that

If you hated 2042 Im not sure why you would like Delta Force Hawk Ops. Its doing damn near everything everyone claimed they hated with 2042
I get a strong feeling it's going to feel "tacky and cheap" judging by leaked gameplay of the Hazard Operations mode, but I hope it's a fun "cheap and tacky" at least. We need something of a similar calibre to hold us over until next BF next year. If only WW3 didn't completely fail I would be playing that tbh.

This has potential Delta Force Black Hawk Down was one of THE greatest military fps games ever. But sadly this does seem to move away from everything that made that game so great. But I am not willing to shoot it down just yet...
Not a fan of those hero characters and I hate anything extraction related stuff but the Conquest mode looks very interesting...but it all depends on how they've made the vehicles. Lets hope they have more of a BF4 feel...but I doubt it.
Don't like the hero shooter aspect, that trend is so overdone, same with BR's... i don't see this lasting long plus f2p > cheeto glore so another turn off (:

Honestly wanted to give a chance but the emphasis on run and gun combat with regen health (and other stuff like unlimited vehicle ammo, hero abilities etc) really puts me off for Havoc Warfare, I really wish they took the risk and made the gameplay more like the Extraction Shooter mode with no regen health etc, every 'AAA' shooter has health regenerating since MW CoD 4 came out, can something please be a bit different?. I just really want something like Joint Operations (OG & Expansion) or BF2/2142 but more updated to 'modern' standards like QoL features and production levels.
Feels like making these big team based shooters emphasising on more KILL KILL KILL than fleshing out the team based mechanics and aspects of what a large scale shooter can do than just going "oh it's a team based but if you wanna run and gun and get instant action, this is for you really" just puts me off.
I don't want a hardcore Milsim but can we have something more slower than dopamine slop? I don't see myself really playing a 2042-CoD mashup when I'm worn out of 2042 itself.

I don't really like hero shooters or F2P games generally but it doesn't seem like these devs are trying too hard to market this game as something it's not so I'm inclined to give this a shot if for not other reason that it doesn't come with the baggage of a major franchise. But, as with everything else, it really all comes down to execution.

After 105 hrs of BF2042 I'm already bored to tears, so I'll try it. As Enders says, Delta Force looks a little bit 'janky', I think that's a good word from what I've seen. I'll try it, especially if you can tone down the camera shake, bc the game play makes me sea sick...lol.

You ask for something to replace battfields failures and you follow the same path it failed on. Maybe try for a accessible miltary simulation type with destruction and teamwork. Hero shooters have no place in a game trying to be battlefield 😔

Amazing video Ghost. For this game, it honestly looks like if BF2042 did a better job of being aesthetically a bit more milsim than the one we got. But overall the hero shooter thing is big no for me.

I remain skeptical because it’s owned by Chinese mobile company, and the first trailers came out looked awful , but I’m optimistic about it, I’m just hungry for a battlefield esk games since the battlefield franchise is literally in the toilet

Battlefield 2042 still has problems from lagging and netcode issues...still i am dying behind walls....and something else got my attention that this game is only for next gen consoles and PC...so I am very positive of what are we going to see...2042 lanched for last gen too..maybe that's why the tick rate of servers must be low so thru can play to last gen consoles..

You can watch the gameplay test already bro,cuz on China this game is in play test,and if you try to find here on RUclips the videos is very possible and easy,I've been following this brasilian guy playing the game test,and its absolutely a battlefield killer man,it as everything and feels so battlefield plus its comes with all modes,they even have a battle royal mode.
They have been in play test for the last year to refine the game at is best,in world release.
I'm so looking foward for tgis game,it looks soo good br.

Seems to have taken all of what everyone hates from modern shooters and none of what people like. The operators are already a terrible idea, and they're implemented poorly with zero character, cheesy names and completely generic. It feels like a chinese phone game ripoff of COD. The overall quality and identity of the game is just completely missing.

It looked good until I seen the operator abilities. I don't understand the obsession with this hero shooter type game with special abilities but my take is that the game would do so much better if it was just a modern shooter like the old cod games where. Having unique abilities is an awful game design that never works because it's impossible to balance the more of them there are and after 12years of hero shooters, I'm so fucking done.
